My parents have been going to Marty's for as long as I can remember, and now the guys are working on my kids' cars, too. Always reliable, honest and easy to deal with at a good price!

There's a reason why it's hard to make an appointment with them on the day of, Marty's is the best. I got in a fender bender not long ago and wanted them to check it out, make sure everything was ok. They called me back 30 min later saying there was no damage done, explained exactly what they did and didn't charge me. Even answered unrelated questions i had about the car. They're awesome.

Marty's has been our mechanic for at least the last 20 years. They are honest to a fault. Upon hearing that I was planning on selling one of my cars in about 6 months, they advised me against making a repair, saying I would be better off to mention the needed repair to a buyer, because the price reduction would be less than the repair. They have advised us on our potential used car purchases on several occasions, both advising for and against cars we've brought to them. They remember your names AND your cars, it's like taking your cars to family to have them repaired. Truly deserving of a 5 star rating.

My family has been going to Marty's for donkeys. I haven't seen Rick in an astounding number of years. I rang him from New Zealand to help out with advice and service for a friend in a bind. He not only remembered me, he was talking to my brother 30 minutes prior to my call. With his advice, she could fix her car herself. I'm lucky that I think I found a similarly ethical and wholesome mechanic in New Zealand, but the bar is significantly high.

Go to another shop. Do not do business with this shop. He is immature and cannot be trusted. He is like a 16-year old teenage boy lying to his mother. What he told me was not true. He said I needed a tie-rod/boot for my 20-year-old truck (that part was true). He said he would have to order the part by mail and it would take 5 days to arrive by mail and he would call. I believed him because the truck is 20 years old. I called on day 3 and again on day 5. They did not answer and did not call back. I called another shop and they were able to get parts same day and got me in and out same day on day 6. Don’t do business with an immature owner who thought it was funny. And left an elderly crippled woman without a vehicle for 6 days.

Despite them having a busy Monday, they got my car fixed earlier than what they had originally told me. They were friendly and professional and didn't try to upsell. The repair costs were very fair. I've been to 3 different mechanics in the area over the past few years and none were honest - glad I finally found Marty's shop. I will be taking my family's vehicles here from now on.

These guys are consistently fantastic. I've shopped around for work four or five times since I've known of them and they have always come in as the lease expensive. They do great work and they do it very quickly. Still further, they're fun and polite. I cannot possibly give them enough praise.

My brakes suddenly started making a terrible grinding noise on Wednesday night. I stopped by Marty's on the way home Thursday evening. I noticed they had many vehicles on their Friday schedule and I assumed my Jeep would not be ready until Monday. They said it would be ready for pick up on Friday. I was a little skeptical, but said thanks and that I would drop off the Jeep in the morning. My husband predicted it would cost about $700. When they called me on Friday to let me know the cost before starting the repair, they quoted $384!! I was so relieved. They called an hour and a half later and said it was ready for pick up. This was a referral from a family friend and I am so glad we went to Marty's. Great service, friendly group of guys. Thanks!!

I got a flat tire right near this shop and ended up pulling in a few businesses over. I was so stranded. I walked into Marty’s to ask if they could help me and they didn’t bat an eye. They came right outside and pulled my car into the shop and switched my tire out with my spare at no charge. They were so kind and quick to help me. I will forever be so appreciative of them and will definitely bring my car there for future needs.

Highly recommend Marty’s Auto Shop. Came in first thing this morning panicked due to my car acting up. They were very kind and more than happy to take a look at it that day, even though I did not call. Called me with an update and when it was done. Fair pricing. Will be back with any future issues (hopefully not for a long time!!)

Martys has many good reviews. I had 1 good experience prior here. On my 2nd repair experience at Martys, the mechanic wanted to replace my metal brake lines and quoted me $1600 on a front brake job. I replied, there was no fluid leaks on my driveway, why replace the metal lines? Marty's mechanic said it was for safety? I then went and had 2 more inspections, one from a certified master mechanic and the other from an experienced certified mechanic, they both agreed, no sign of leakage, no signs of corrosion or wear on these metal brake lines they both reported, replacement of these lines was not needed for this brake repair. I also talked with a retired auto engineer who told me the same thing, "no metal brake line repair is needed unless signs of corrosion, damage or leakage". I had the brake job done for $800 less at another 5 star mechanic, than Marty's mechanic had quoted. Seems there was an attempt to replace good working parts for mechanic profits using a safety flag to raise their labor profits when other inspections disagree. Reccommend you research on high repair quotes from Martys, as some mechanics working here vary in their honesty and integrity.

This is an honest review. As retired catholic clergy I had volunteered half my life serving on a mission of assisting the sick and ill. I now live on a very small budget as do many other seniors. Martys has a past reputation of good work in the community. Sometimes a bad apple or greedy mechanic can bruise a shops reputation of right and wrong. I was quoted double the price on a Marty's repair than other mechanics had quoted.. Hoping this mechanic at Marty's was not taking advantage of goodness for weakness because of my age, name, or catholic service. As this had not happened at Martys before, with past good service and repairs here. Refferals provided by others, this repair was done honestly, at half the price at another shop. Sending insiration that Mechanics will correct their morals and values with their fellow man. We can only hope a seed planted with good intentions grows into good fruit.

I guess Marty picks and chooses who he wants to actually help ensure their car is fully safe because I was ripped off of 3grand a month ago and now as of a week ago my car went into limp mode and engine seized including the motor and a lot was loose and screws and bolts were all over the inside of everything it was a giant mess and Marty gave me some bs excuse basically the run around just like he did on my car that he himself said he worked on. All he did was run around real fast like they do in the Indy 500 and called it a day. What goes around comes around MARTY !

It's taken a while to write this up. Life gets in the way. I took my Car to Marty's initially to figure out where an oil leak was occurring. The main problem was the smell of burning oil sometimes so it was obviously dripping on the exhaust somewhere and burning off. After the "diagnosis" I was giving a bill of over $1000 to fix it. Since I had a little extra cash I thought it would be nice to not have to mess with it and let them do it. I just replaced the plugs and intake cover gaskets myself. After the "repair" I still smelled the burning oil smell. I took it back and they said it was a seal on the end of the valve cover that was leaking now (All the way to the exhaust?). So now more money to "fix" that. Here's the fun part; When I picked up my car this time I noticed the hood wasn't closed. No big deal, I'll push it shut. I wish I would have opened it and looked. Fast forward a month or so and time for an oil change. As I open my hood I was shocked to see the dipstick for the oil laying up by the windshield. They never put it back in. Looking around further I see that they had broken all the mounts for the upper radiator hose as well as the positive lead from the battery. Both of these were now dangerously close, about a half inch from a pully. No attempt was made to secure them in any way. I had to rig up zip ties. Like I said, I just did the plugs and intake cover gaskets so I know they were not broken. I took pictures of this handywork just in case. I took my car back to them to express my concern, and the fact that the original problem, the burning oil smell, is not fixed. (I'll leave out names) but he was apologetic, offered a free oil change. He assured me that the person who worked on my car "no longer works here". I said I would bring it back when I have time for them to look at it again. Fast forward a month or so and I drop it back by to have the continued oil burning problem looked at yet again. They put it on the lift and after a few minutes a guy comes over and asks me if "I want to see where my oil leak is". You mean what I paid you to fix in the first place?? He proceeds to show me the timing cover leaking, right over the exhaust pipe. Gee. It looks like that was the problem the whole time. The worst part: He says to me, "I'm the guy that worked on this car the first time". So the other guy flat out lied to my face by telling me the guy that worked on my car "no longer works here". Unbelievable. So, they took my money and "fixed" everything but what I paid them to fix. So now, I asked how much is it to fix the timing cover gasket? I was met with "We don't do those here." I swear I thought he was joking with me. They knew they don't do that repair but took my money to replace things they knew would not fix the problem. It's a shame we live in a time where you simply can't trust anyone to do honest work.

I went to Marty’s Auto Shop for a broken air conditioner about two months ago and was initially concerned about pricing and service since it was my first visit there. I ended up having an amazing experience. Marty was honest, efficient, and his price was nearly $1,000 less than five other shops I called. He was the ONLY one who gave me an estimate. He was transparent throughout the process and got my car back to me quickly. The A/C is still working great, and despite the shop being far from home, I will definitely return for future car needs. It’s rare to find a shop you can truly trust, and Marty is one of the good ones out there.

My family and I have had consistently fantastic service with Marty's Auto Repair for years. Marty is fair, knowledgeable, honest, kind, and truly cares about the safety of his clients. We made sure our daughter went there as well when she needed her car serviced because he cares for her safety as we do!
