GREAT SERVICE! I recently had to replace a bad alternator and they replaced it hassle free! Prices are very reasonable, service was QUICK (I was in and out much quicker than I expected), and the staff seem HONEST. Wes gave me a quote on repair and the repair cost was exactly the same price as quoted. My experience was 5/5. I would DEFINITELY recommend this shop!

I was so incredibly impressed by Massey Brothers. I brought my Jeep Patriot to them within 24 hours of me calling and requesting a diagnostics test. I was treated with respect and professionally by each and every employee I interacted with. I was informed up front about diagnostic cost and a proposed timeline. They called me within just about an hour of dropping off with a quote and they were able to fix the issue within a few hours. Not all auto mechanical fixes are that easy but I will be going no where else beyond Massey Brothers due to their honest and speedy repair ability. Truck is running great and I could not be happier to have them in South Durham as my go-to spot. Thank you Massey!

I have been a loyal customer of Massey Brothers for 3 years, and I plan on being a loyal customer for life! These guys are fantastic. They do high-quality work. My mom's 2003 sedan that had always had problems before is now running great because of Massey Brothers. Best of all, they don't overcharge you! They will always try the most conservative repair first, and if that doesn't work they will deduct the cost of that repair off of the cost of the second try. I will enthusiastically recommend this team to anyone wanting a reliable mechanic they can count on to take great care of their car!

Brought it in for a vibration in the front end. Left 1000+ dollars later with the vibration. Replaced then control arm is what they did. Some how neglected to even recommend tie rods. Super slack on diag wasted money

Great, honest, and friendly service. I took my vehicle in there today to get some repairs done. I told them what I "thought" the issue was and what needed to be done. They called me later and advised that the car was fine and the repairs I came in about did not need to be done. I think some places might have done the repair anyway even when it wasn't need, but not here. They charged me an inspection fee and I was good to go. I will bring my vehicle back for all my service needs. It's nice to know that there are fair and honest people in this line of business.

I had one of the best vehicle upkeep experiences ever at a great price with a reputable business. I’ve lived in Durham over 30 years. I’ve seen this place from decades. I stopped in Friday afternoon and was able to make an appointment for today, Monday. My appointment was manageable with my work schedule. This business performed what I needed for my vehicle. Two gentleman working there (one with a long beard and another) were a great experience to talk to as they finished working on my Infiniti. I have taken my vehicle (Roxanne 🙃) to one or two other places that did NOT impress me at all. However, today, Massey Brothers Automotive have gained a lifetime client with me due to their care! I cannot say enough good things about them! Furthermore, as a minority female, I never ever felt uncomfortable nor stereotyped at all. I was always treated like a valuable human. Roxanne actually drives like she had more pep in her step without much effort. It’s like she’s a well cared for Infiniti. I’m very happy.

Always accommodating, never over sell. Knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Update 9/13/24 Loss of power and failed charging system. Able to squeeze me in today and diagnose problem. Make repair and replace (expensive) battery under warranty. No catered breakfast, but nobody's perfect, right?

Called to setup an appointment for a state inspection. Called on Thursday, had an appointment on Monday. They were ready at the agreed upon time and got me in and out pretty quickly. The couches in the waiting area are super comfortable and I could have comfortably waited much longer! Staff were friendly and attentive.

Charged me for diagnostic. Told me the reason why my car wasn't starting because of feul pump assembly was needed.Scammed me out of $900 for a fuel pump replacement. Paid the money and the very next day will not start again and they refused to fix my truck unless I gave them $450 more. Do not waste your time and money with these con artist. Craig lied straight to my face and they are not doing diagnostic correctly and make it seem like it's the customer fault knowing they are not doing there job in telling customer what's wrong with vehicle the first time. Scam Artists and I would not recommend going there for any type of repairs.

I've trusted my Jeeps with Massey since I moved to NC in 2013. They're not the closest, but I will drive to someone I trust. They know what they're doing and have never hesitated to explain everything in full detail. I always, always get a call about price before they start repairs. And the turnaround is crazy fast. My Jeep is 10 years old, so I told them to just give it the once over along with it's yearly inspection. I knew I needed new brakes, was having issues with a tire sensor and the blend door actuator on my ac/heat was going. It also failed inspection due to bad tires. They got all of the work done in 24 hours. I always feel safer on the road after seeing them.
