Came in for an oil change and diagnosed low coolant light. This place is a total ripoff. They sId I ended a ew radiator amongst other major repairs none of which were true I wouldn't go there.

They’re terrible, charge you every step of the way and give up immediately on the vehicle, but still charge you for that too. Would not recommend. Only went here because AAA suggested it after I needed my vehicle towed.

2 years ago my trucks fuel pump stopped working on the freeway. the tow truck driver took it here. they replaced the pump and the truck ran fine till yesterday. I tried to take it to them but they are "just too busy" so I took it to another shop who told me that it was the fuel pump again. I called them and was told that there warranty won't cover it as its in a shop thats not farther than 35 miles away and that they can't do anything for me, as the warranty was only good for 1 year. So I get to pay another 800 dollars. thanx the shop its at now at least has a 2 year warranty.

I wouldn't say they are the best.. But, they weren't the worst either.. It's a family run place.. The father and the daughter are who I dealt with. I took my car to them very early on in the restoration. I think more than anything they just threw their hands up in the air and gave up.. They charged me though.. Which I didn't appreciate since they didn't finish the job. I would advise that you are very clear with them about your expectations. And, equally clear about what they promise to deliver..

Recently I took my mother's mobility van to Mathews & Son for electrical work.. my experience was very professional.. they told me when I could bring the van in and about how long it would take to fix (if the part where available) .. they exceeded my expectations on all counts..they kept me informed on the progress of the repair and it was done by the next day...not only that, electrical can be very expensive.. i was more than happy with the final bill.!..they were always extremely nice and always willing to answer questions... I would recommend them to anyone for vehicle repair work..its hard to find good automotive repair shops that you feel you can trust. I've found one that I do and will be a loyal customer for years to come..I think anyone would feel the same if you take your repair to Mathews & Sons...Thanks again M&S.!!

I've been taking my vehicles to Mathews & Sons for service since 2013 and have always been satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the service. Dan lets me know what the issues are with two aging vehicles and what I need to do to keep them in safe operable condition. Prices at this auto repair shop are fair and service is provided quickly. I appreciate the shuttle to and from my office when I drop my vehicles off for repair. They also check back in with me by phone or email to make sure I am not having problems with my vehicles following sservice.

I've been taking my vehicles to Mathews and Sons for over ten years. I tend to drive older vehicles with high miles. Once they go through them, they run problem free for years. Money well spent there. Honest as the day is long. Stand by their work. Excellent advice, including when something is not really worth fixing. I would recommend them any time.
