Our sales person was absolutely awesome. He was new and we would go to him again for a car. The management is manipulative and more than willing to waste 7 1/2 hours of your time and still expect you to pay top dollar. They promise something and walk away just to never fulfill the promise or talk to you again. Heard more apologies than anyone should hear in a day. We just wanted to buy a new car. Horrible experience;. Once the test drive was over it all went downhill from there. It was an easy sale and they took tooooooo long and lied and created this score all on their own.

Bait and switch. Called at 11:30 on an awesome online deal. Got there before 12:15 and it “just sold”. At best they didn’t have courtesy to let me know instead of having me drive over. At worst… well... Definitely playing into the reason people discredit car dealers.

Today's appointment was simply amazing. Not only did I schedule for my oil change and tire rotation, but was met with a even better deal when it came to an alignment. Both of the service reps greeted me with a smile and gave me knowledge about future maintenance that could really help in the preservation of my vehicle (investment). Though I still give them a hard time about the prices of many of there services, they continously remind me that the price is pennies in comparison to my safety and well-being. The reassure me each time that they have my best interest at heart and don't just see me as a customer, but as a part of the family. Had to take my wife's car in for service. Ended up having to get the engine replaced after a premature failure, which ended up being covered under a current recall issued by Hyundai. I dealt with Greg, to which he was very helpful, empathetic to our situation, and handled it all. All in all, i think it took around 2 weeks to get it approved by Hyundai, engine ordered, and installed. It's been about a week now, and so far, so good. The facility was nice, super nice waiting area with refreshments and tvs. After picking up the car, I did notice the dealship doesn't do any of the extra washing or vacuuming like some dealerships do during a service. I also noticed a few missing nuts and bolts under the hood. (I contacted them I reference to the missing peices, was told I would be contacted back, its been about 5 days with weekend) Some ripped insulation during engine swap and oil on the underside of vehicle. Probably from removing old one. I would recommend a little more attention to detail for future customers. But over all a nice interaction.

This week I leased a new Palisade at Matt Bowers Hyundai Gulfport. I interacted with several sales people over the course of shopping at Matt Bowers, shopping around the coast, including Daphne AL. All the sales people I worked with at Matt Bowers were helpful and attentive both during my search, after I made my deal, and days later when I required training re my vehicle at Matt Bowers. I have not experienced such readiness to assist me (especially while being trained/familiarized a third time on my new vehicle) with such patience and friendliness ever before when purchasing a vehicle. I have brought my car in to get serviced since moving here. Three times in a row when I bring it in for an oil change my car leaks oil. I live 40 minutes away. This last time was the worse. We spent our Saturday getting the oil changed only to notice Saturday evening the oil leak. It has ruined my garage and driveway on my new house. They tell me it is their fault. They give me a car wash and a couple dollars in gas and say sorry. I am fed up. I wanted a new Pallisade because I love my car but I can not deal with the service. Photos are below you can see the old oil stain and the new ones.

Salesman when I purchased the vehicle was amazing, service desk after was helpful but not outstanding. The finance department will never return your calls and actively avoid speaking with you. I'm only requesting a copy of my contract, but no one else is able to assist. After a week of calling and leaving voicemails including someone stating they were going to hand deliver a note to them to call me back (salesman, again amazing), no return call at all. I wouldnt even need it of the app would show the contract as it's supposed to.
