One of the best and honest mechanics in the greater Charlotte area, especially if you're in the gaston/belmont/lowell suburbs. Speaks Spanish as well, works quickly and efficiently. Prices are reasonable, although I wish there was signage for auto service rates just for visibility.I've gone to other mechanics in the area and they don't provide the same quality customer service as this business. Location a bit hidden but accessible. Love supporting small local businesses especially those that service a range of communities. Les recomiendo ir con Mecanico Express 100%

Excellent mechanical diagnoatician. Two times now, he's saved me with serious car troubles, and both times, the turnaround to get my car back was extremely quick. He is also very honest in his pricing, and I've never felt that he has overcharged me. I am so grateful to have found an honest and reliable mechanic. UPDATE: He has now fixed numerous things on both of my cars. Every time, his service is top-notch. I'll never complain about his service or his prices. My only issue is that Google will only let me give 5 stars. *****Outstanding*****

My first impression of Mr. Sam Mendez was that he was very professional mechanic backed by certified quality. He was respectful and efficient with my time servicing my car and my wife's car to add. I had my brakes done at this shop and was really impressed with the service. The mechanic was not only very helpful and informative, but also honest about what needed to be fixed, no upselling or pressure. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood the work being done. I also had questions about other things I wanted to possibly fix and he provided me with options. The prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Sam was recommended by friends who found him after they had negative experiences with other mechanics. I live in Union County but have not been able to find a local trusted repair shop that is open on Saturday, or that I can get to during business hours after work during the week. My A/C was blowing warm air and I was due for an oil change. I stopped by today without an appointment and he was able to get me all taken care of with minimal wait time.
