I went here for an inspection because it was the only place open when my regular spot was closed. I was in a time crunch or else I would have gone anywhere else. They are scammers. The inspection for my older car costs $10. They told me the wipers needed replacing when they are completely fine and functional and not at all dry rotted like they claimed. But they wouldn’t pass my inspection. When I asked how much new wilers would cost they quoted me $70. I said I would go to autozone and get new wipers for $15 dollars each. They said if I left to do that they’d have to fail my inspection and charge me for a new one when I returned. It was a better deal than buying their overpriced wipers and I needed the inspection done that day or else I would have left and not returned. They will do anything to scam a little money off you, I will not be returning. My regular spot doesn’t cheat people like this.

Thank you for doing a great job on the car and an even better job with customer service. Brian gave me an estimate for all the we wanted done on the car before he started. Chris did a great job working on the car. We did brakes all around, wheel alignment and oil change. The price was what I expected and I got a call as soon as it was completed. I’ve been coming to this Meineke location for a while now, and the service is always top-notch. Brian, the manager, runs a tight ship — he and his team really know their stuff. Whether it’s routine maintenance or something more serious, they explain everything clearly and never try to upsell you on things you don’t need. The work is solid, and they’re impressively quick at getting cars in and out without sacrificing quality. It’s rare to find an auto shop you can trust, but this one definitely earns it every time. Highly recommend!

Worse service. They tell you that you’ll get in accident and die with the issue you come in with your car with to cause fear and worry. Then they double charge you for the cost of the repairs. On top of that, when asking what needs to be done urgently, the guy at the desk claims that it’s $1600 but when I look at the print out of the recommendations, it states $900 on the paper. Not sure if he was combining it with another service but that’s not what I asked. It seems like they just opened but if you’re going there please be cautious.

Fine, just don’t understand why when you get a car diagnostic it’s not showing everything that wrong with the car (meaning I got one thing fix, but when I asked can the fix something else, I was told I would have to get another diagnostic done, know what if I don’t have enough money to fix the other thing but now I would have to pay for another diagnostic.

I went in for an inspection and they said I needed front wipers or I would fail. I told them to let me go and buy the wipers and come back but they said they would charge me the $38 fail me and charge me again upon my return. I ended up paying an additional $70 for front wipers and labor. $70 is ridiculous but I had no choice but to pay the price. They take advantage of people in the community then had the nerve to ask me for a review to help build their business. I am never going back here again as they are ridiculous and I would never recommend them to anyone. I should have gone to the Meinkee on Coney Island Avenue as they are way more reasonable and fair in their dealings but in trying to support the people in my community, I ended up paying way more than it was worth. Customers beware.

The Person that is at the counter and managing the place is respectful, knowledgeable and most of all listens to the customer to explain the complex rebuild of a vehicle so that he is on the same page. This is a very well oiled machine and I will definitely be back and would recommend if you want it done right the first time. Come here!!

Had been coming to this place for years and felt it was fair pricing and good service. I don’t know what’s changed, but the guy at the front (owner?) has become a hot head. Any reaction to pricing or questions about what he’s saying needs to be fixed turns into him talking down to you and giving nasty remarks. “What don’t you understand?” “That’s why it’s called an inspection. WE inspect. You don’t know what you’re talking about.” Be careful what you say when you come here, and if you have the time, get a second opinion.

My experience at the Church Avenue location was very good. Brian was very professional and thorough in his explanation of my emissions issue notification with my 2013 Honda Civic. His team assessed my vehicle to make sure I'd be ready for my inspection deadline at the end of the month, ensuring that I will pass it. I appreciated that. I was very happy my dashboard wasn't lit up like a Christmas tree as I drove away. I will definitely be returning.
