I was heading to Utah from Houston when I stopped in Amarillo for dinner and noticed fuel dripping from a hose under my car. It was too late to do anything about it that night but I called first thing in the morning and Joey gave me the number for a tow truck. When my car got to the shop Josh was very thorough and explained the problem and the repair to me. Joey and I had some great conversations while I waited and I felt like I was at a friend’s house. My car was fixed in less time than I expected and I was able to get to my parents’ house without any other issues. If I break down in Amarillo again I know where I’ll be going to get it fixed! Joey and Joshua were very very professional, knowledgeable and were spot on with our repair. They did absolutely awesome for us and got our brakes fixed and got us back on the road!! Called at 11am, got into the shop and signed in at 1:15 pm, waited for our turn for our repair then after assessment, needed new parts to be delivered and installed and was fixed and out the door by 4:15 pm. Getting it fixed and back on the road the very same day is absolutely awesome work in itself and very much appreciated!! If you find yourself in need for anything car repair related, including batteries/tires/brakes, in Amarillo, go to them first! Good honest people!

Our new-to-us Audi decided the turbo was optional on our 2000 mile roadtrip from the dealership in NC home to AZ. Joey and Josh brought it into their shop and found the root cause (fuel injectors stuck open) on a Saturday afternoon. They were honest, collaborative and straight-shooters, with both me and the dealership's sales manager (under their warranty). These guys provided the guidance we needed to get the car to a warranty covered service center. Their price was fair as well! My wife and I were treated with such professionalism and empathy, I was motivated to come on here and let others know they can trust these guys!

Wow! Joey and Joshua deserve a round of applause and a million hugs. I walked into the store in panic mode as I was traveling from Santa Fe, NM to Dallas, TX and right in the middle of my travels (Amarillo) my car decided to forcibly slow down and not allow me to accelerate. As I was driving on a highway, clearly I started freaking out and was unsure what was going on. Immediately they started to help me and moved to diagnose what was going on with my car. Once they had figured out the culprit(s) I was invited into the shop to view the damage for myself and gather images, which most shops do not allow, and I am still very grateful for it coming from a car family myself as I really needed to see the damage first hand. I was provided updates frequently and due to the nature of the repairs, I was forced to stay the night in Amarillo. Almost 24 hours, many repairs and updates from both Joey and Joshua later, my car was back to working / driving condition and I was able to finish my drive to Dallas. Throughout the many conversations and phone calls with my father (it was his car and he is more knowledgeable in this realm) kept things calm, updated me every step of the way as things evolved, and even with some of the repairs they did that ended up not resolving errors codes, I know they did more work to my car than needed, but after everything, they got it figured out and fixed her up in much better condition than she had been - which she had apparently been running not at full % for some time (unaware to us) ... yikes!!! And might I add, this car was recently inspected for registration and this was missed, so to say we were shocked is truly beyond explanation as to how all this happened. Beyond thankful for these two in my time of crisis. I felt comfortable leaving my car with them, knew immediately upon meeting them that I would not be mislead or that my car would not be taken advantage of, and they sure as heck proved me right in the end. Thank you simply could never express our gratitude. I am very much looking forward to driving through Amarillo again and stopping in to say 'hello'!!! I only hope every car shop has knowledgeable, genuine, and kind individuals like Joey and Joshua working there. They are truly the gold standard ⭐️

I was in the middle of a cross-country move from California to Virginia, driving alone with my 12-year-old son. When we woke up in Amarillo and went to the car to start that days drive, we had a flat tire. This Meineke was the closest auto shop to our hotel so we headed straight there. Turns out there was a screw in the sidewall, so patching wasn’t an option, we needed a full replacement. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the right tire in stock and said it would take five hours to get one delivered. But instead of leaving us stuck all day, one of the employees (even though they were crazy busy) went out himself to pick up the tire. Thanks to him, we were back on the road in just over an hour, which was a total miracle! They were not only professional and efficient, but also incredibly kind and understanding. As a stressed-out mom with a kid in tow and a long drive ahead, I can't tell you how much that meant. They turned what could’ve been a huge delay into a quick pit stop, and I’ll be forever grateful. If I could give more than five stars, I would! Thank you Meineke Amarillo, you guys are lifesavers.

My wife and I were traveling 1300 miles towing our camper to visit our family in Kansas. We limped about 400 miles of the first 700 to get to Amarillo Texas from Filbert Az. It was Saturday and surprisingly your shop was open for business. The team of Joey and Joshua and another I didn’t get his name. Helped us get back on the road and even cut some costs. We both felt like we were not being taken advantage of and a the service was completed so we could get back on the road as quickly as possible. It has run better than ever and we are very happy with the work done.
