I’m reading all these reviews and I’m assuming these are all people who know nothing about vehicles or they know Charles personally and are just making fake reviews . I went in this place to have codes read . I knew I needed a tuneup and an oil pressure sensor . He quoted me just under $1000 for the tuneup and almost $400 for the sensor. Mind you the tune up and sensor are at the top of the engine. Out of the 8 spark plugs 1 spark plug is a little hard to reach but nothing majorly difficult . The rest are easily accessible The sensor is super easy just a little tight squeeze to get to it , if you have small hands, you can get to it easy you just need the sensor socket, ratchet, extension, swivel extension. And it is easy as twisting off a bottle cap from a bottle of water. You just need the socket to help you break it loose. And he wanted to charge me $400 for that. I found someone on Facebook in The Colony who came With his buddy, who actually worked for Charles at Meineke in the past and did the work. I bought the parts on rock auto for $90 And he did the tuneup and the sensor for $300. What a blessing. Charles quoted me $1000 to do my brakes in the front. $1000 for my back brakes . $2000 !!!!! The gentleman from face book said they would do front and back brakes for a total of $300. Charles tried really hard to get me to leave my vehicle there promising Ubers and how he would come in on Sunday to make sure it’s done by Monday. I knew better. Guys don’t let Meineke screw you over. Look things up on YouTube that way at least you know what you’re getting into and you can kind of Go from there and know what would cost more in labor and what wouldn’t. While I sat waiting for my quotes I could hear Charles buttering customers up making them feel comfortable - all a scam . Chance Lackey is an honest man .

My time working here was extremely difficult due to the unprofessional conduct of Charles, the person in charge. Not only did he repeatedly short my paychecks and cut my hours, but he also mishandled a car sale, taking my money without providing the necessary title. When I asked for my money back, I was fired. The stress caused by this situation had a severe emotional impact on me. Just two days later, I experienced the tragic loss of my roommate, which added to the immense strain I was already under.
I strongly advise others to be cautious in dealing with Charles or this business, as the treatment I received was not only unprofessional but also damaging. His actions contributed to a toxic work environment, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I came in about my car 2 days ago as it was miss firing and I wanted to get my codes read. Charles advised me on what the best option would be. Upon giving me the details of the inspection..the timing chain had broke (which was a 5 hour job alone)! , my exhaust was having issues & I also needed a tune up . They fix my car the same day, I was very appreciative, the staff was very nice. Charles! My Mississippi brother! I appreciate a wonderful service and highly recommend Meineke car care of Lewisville to anyone.

I stumbled upon this place because they were the closest car service place when my coolant light came on. I wanted to get my car checked out immediately. As soon as I walked in, multiple staff members were extremely welcoming, knowledgable and friendly. They looked at my car right away and also did a thorough check of the rest of my car and emailed me details of the report to refer back to later. They found other items that may need to be looked at down the road, but did not pressure me into fixing everything that day like I have experienced at countless other places. They explained every detail of the report which I greatly appreciated. As I waited for my car to be serviced, they were having a hard time getting the heat to turn on and they offered everyone waiting for their car Dunkin Donuts coffee. This place truly went the extra mile for me and cares about their customers as people. I will not be going anywhere else from now on!!
