When I have to get service for my Mercedes, I prefer to drive here. I live closer to South Bay but after a few bad experiences I no longer go. This is a 5 star review of Mercedes-Bench of Long Beach Service due to Mr. Jonathan Aragon’s outstanding work. He is absolutely patient, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, extremely helpful. I originally completed all my vehicle service needs at this location out of convenience because of how close it was to my home. I have recently moved to a different city but will continue to visit this service location for my vehicle service needs even though it is a longer commute exclusively because of Mr. Jonathan Aragon’s and the rest of the service team fantastic customer service and work! I believe that my vehicle is in fantastic shape because of Mr. Aragon’s great advice/guidance.

I recently bought a brand new Mercedes from South Bay MBZ. I took my car to Long Beach for service for a minor issue with one of my seat belt parts recently. First of all the service advisor's level of professionalism was subpar. His name is Christian Magano. And he attempted to argue with me about having a loaner car when I called 3x in that week prior to confirm they would have one for me. Secondly,instead of putting a pending amount on my credit card for the loaner, they actually charged my credit card. I had to contact many people on the team to attempt to get my credit back I will never go back to this dealership!!!. You expect a certain standard of service at MBZ dealership no matter what city. Terrible!!!

Had my battery replaced and was told by Deborah (Service Manager at the time) that I didn't have to worry because it's a lifetime warranty on our batteries. Now the new Service manager Giovanni told me sorry because it wasn't in the notes and she no longer works here he can't help me.....apparently I did have to worry....second bad experience with this dealership.....take your business somewhere else.

Worst service ever. $70K newly purchased defective sprinter was accepted for service on Monday and still standing on that yard without labor performed after 3 days. I bought a defective Intake Manifold from Mercedes and was DENIED warranty replacement with Fletcher Jones Mercedes Of Newport. I received a call back from Jonathan Aragon with Long Beach Mercedes and he told me to bring the car in SAME DAY and said he would do everything he can to warranty the part. Jonathan got Mercedes engineers involved and had my $3000 Intake Manifold warranted WITH install. He went above and beyond and I will take all my Mercedes cars to him from now on. Thank you sir. Very hard to find this type of service in today’s world!!

I bought a second key for my car. When we got home I realized it the keyless go feature hadn't been activated, likely because the car only allows a total of two keys to have keyless go. And, since I'm the car's third owner, who knows where that original second key ended up. So, we returned to MB of Long Beach. Colby in the service center quickly identified the issue. We dropped off the car. Within 24 hours he had the missing key deleted from the system and new key programmed with keyless go. And, they washed the car which was an unexpected bonus.

Service advisor Dan was a life-saver. We had some issues with our AMG 53. We were 3 1/2 hrs away from home. Dan was tentative to our problem and took our vehicle without an appointment. I brought my Mercedes to this dealership for a windshield quote. When I arrived, Jonathan told me there would be a $289 deposit required if I decided to move forward with the replacement and had me sign off on it. After leaving my car there, I was later informed that the total cost to replace the windshield would be $3,500. I immediately said that was way too high and wanted to get other estimates. Jonathan then started lowering the price by $100 increments every time I pushed back, which felt unusual and unprofessional. Then he told me they would only charge me $289 for the estimate. I asked why I was being charged almost $300 just for an estimate when other shops gave free quotes over the phone in under 10 minutes. Jonathan insisted it was a “labor” charge because he and his technician spent time researching parts, even though no physical work was done just a visual inspection and some computer searches. He tried to argue and justify it, which felt frustrating and like a bait-and-switch. Later, Jonathan called back to say they decided not to charge me the $289 fee after all. When I picked up my car, it had been washed probably to smooth things over after the whole ordeal. I found a certified Mercedes calibration shop that uses genuine OEM glass and completed the replacement for $1,400 less than half the dealership’s price, with no games or hidden fees. If you value honesty and fair pricing, I recommend shopping around before trusting this dealership.

My 2024 vehicle’s screen stopped working, and since it’s still under warranty, I expected proper support. The service advisor gave me no information and refused to provide a loaner car, even though my warranty covers it. But the worst part was when I decided to take my vehicle to another Mercedes-Benz service center because I didn’t feel comfortable here. As I was leaving, the manager came up to my car and said: “Good luck when you drive it in the dark, especially at night.” How unprofessional and rude is that? Instead of helping a customer, the manager basically wished me bad luck. Completely unacceptable behavior. I will never return to this location.

This place is a prime example of a “Stealership”. Took my car in for a warranty service and the service advisor Jeyson Marsh is an insufferable service advisor with no people skills and acts like an immature bratty child. He has a serious attitude problem which is embarrassing for someone his age and occupation. I got a phone call from Jeyson and without courtesy or compassion he tells me there was a malfunction caused by them. He then tries to push me to pay a couple grand for a new part but I knew they’re playing shady games with me. I’m going to call corporate and report this incident. Also they gave back my car in such disheveled state. Follow up: So I just got this very poorly sent message from Jeyson asking to make things right but clearly this is just a faint attempt and management of this dealership is extremely inept and incompetent to deal with a person like jeyson. Don’t come to Long Beach I recommend House of Imports. Management is far more organized and customer service skills is amazing compared to these sorry clowns.

Purchased 2023 Sprinter 170 AWD van for $70K+ with defective body that the sales person Herb was aware, I’m sure he was because in fact that was noticeable and the vehicle was on the yard for 6+ months. I didn’t pay attention while walking around the van at purchase till made couple hundred miles on it I didn’t even expect that the body can separate from the frame on both sides. Now seating and waiting in the service for already an hour to talk with someone but it appears everyone is hiding from me saying - someone is coming soon. Let’s see how they handle this situation Stay away from Long Beach Mercedes if you expect quality service and customer care. No loaner has been provided, only promises to provide the next day, these folks have not been heard about customer service at all.
