Do not waste your time here. I came for a brake and lamp inspection per the dmv and picked my car up with no brakes at all. I came back for them to repair the brakes and they did no work at all just turned my abs light off. Save yourself and take your vehicle to literally any other mechanic. Waste of 2 days of my time.

Workers do not have the best communication with each other, let alone with their customers. The owner is very friendly but I expected a call like I was told I'll get before any work was done. The price is not fair in my opinion, I'm going to blame it on the holidays being around the corner due to having an amazing service the first time I came here

HONEST! I know, right? Don’t usually correlate auto repair shop with the word “honest” ? But they are! You wanna know what else! They have the best prices for the best work! Customers beware!! Do not bring your vehicle here!! This shop uses faulty equipment to perform inspections dont waste your time! Horrible communication with coworkers and customers led to me sitting around . When I asked how much longer technicians got upset and tried to give me my money back with the work unfinished. Staff is rude and unprofessional Edit : I UNDERSTAND ITS A TEDIOUS PROCESS. No one was rushing you. Your computers weren't working you said after 1 1/2 hours I asked you to please show me the issue and your coworker jumped into the conversation saying to give me my money back and get me out of there. I begged you not to do that and continue. You had me sitting for another 30 minutes then backed the car up saying you hit a wall and we're unable to finish the vehicle and handed me money you had ready . I would have waited all night . You said you couldn't do the service because of a technical problem that you couldn't show me. Car is now driving suspicious. Full inspection tomorrow and I hope you all didn't do something shady to my vehicle Edit; I mentioned to you when I called you that that I needed to bring the certificate to the dmv after the inspection not that I had a appointment which shouldn't be unusual for you to hear as a inspection station. I showed up 20 minutes early for my 3pm appointment I sat there quietly as no one worked on my car and move it again and let it sit. No one was rushing you guys .I asked you at 4:30 politely how much longer everything was going to take. I tried to answer you and your coworker jumped into the conversation and was extremely rude and told you to give me my money back. I asked if you could please finish . You and your coworker after 30 minutes made up a computer system problem but could not show me the issue . You backed my car up and said you hit a wall and handed me my money back I called you out after you handed me my cash after spending over 1 1/2 hour touching my vehicle and driving it off property without my consent. I don't believe there was a technical problem as you were unable to show any issues. Again you guys are liars and very RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! SCAM SHOP! Not transparent about prices!! Final edit: 100% honest review. Very unprofessional and rude staff with horrible customer service. You didn't give a receipt. You gave a refund because you couldn't perform the service after putting my vehicle in the air and driving it around without my consent. You said you were having technical problems now you've said otherwise, which leads to poor communication with the customers again. You gave me my money back because I didn't fail the inspection. You had to legally. I understand the shop has been around for 20+ but the people "working" haven't been doing this long at all. Your reputation does speak for itself I should have asked around more and read more reviews. If I was misinformed it was by the person/ you that took my appointment down and gave me the time for the appointment. But hey with the conditions of the shop it isn't a wonder that there is faulty equipment there to perform state required inspections on vehicles for the DMV. Im not only customer who has had similar issues with this shop!

I took my car to get an inspection done. Mind you I’m female. Needless to say they took advantage of that fact and failed my inspection saying there was a leak in my car that was actually non existent. I took it to another mechanic who confirmed there were no issues with my car. Do not go here, they will rob you and lie to you. I have no need to take time out of my day to leave a review and lie. I just want to prevent other females from being scammed like I was.

I needed to get the DMV-required brake & lamp inspection done for my Infiniti Q60, and MG Brake & Lamp / Vehicle Safety was one of the few places that actually do it. The inspection cost me $165, and the attendants Bryan and Miguel were super helpful throughout the process. Unfortunately, my car didn’t pass the first time because of two issues. But they were honest, explained everything clearly. They made the process smooth and professional, and you can tell they know their stuff. I got the repairs done next door and no recheck fee. It’s $165 for test pass or fail no refund , $15 for re inspection unless repaired their within 15 days . If you need this DMV test done, MG Brake & Lamp is the spot

My car was totalled out in a car accident by my insurance company. I kept my car and got it fixed. The DMV requires that you get a brake and light inspection. I found MG Brake inspection online. I gave them a call and talked with Miguel. I set up and appointment with him. I am spectical of trying new places because of past experiences. I went to my appointment and I was happy to have a gentleman helping his name was Miguel. He explained what they needed to do and how long it would take. He is a man of his word. He was very kind and professional. I had a great experience here. This being a family owned business was even better. I feel that family owned businesses that they take pride in doing there best job for the consumer. I will be going back when I need work done on my vehicle. Thank you Miguel for the great service. Called and made my appointment with Miguel with no issues , the guy is bilingual so having him explain the process to my Spanish speaking father was very helpful. I called him at 9 am and by 11 am I had my car ready to go and was able to go to the dmv same day ! The business is family owned and you can definitely feel it such a nice clean space and the owner seemed very friendly as well .
