From scheduling service through to picking up my car, the entire staff is professional, attentive, patient and trustworthy. They share my goal of performing any services or repairs that will keep my car safe and functional on the road. September 2025. I will gladly write a review after every service visit to Mick’s. The entire experience, from booking the appointment to picking up my vehicle has been overwhelmingly positive. They are knowledgeable, professional, accessible (willing to answer questions and explain maintenance issues). I brought my vehicle in for an inspection and Mick’s did an excellent, thorough job with it. I was impressed with the detail in the inspection report, which included pictures and videos of my vehicle and lots of information about the specific repairs needed. I am not a car person, but the report contained all the information necessary to make a confident & informed decision about the repairs needed. I'm new to the area, and Mick's was recommended to me by my employer. She's been trusting this shop for years, and I'm so thankful she insisted I call them about the weird noise my Honda CRV was making when it cold starts. Mick's was very professional, friendly, on time and my car is running great now. They even have a few loaner cars which was incredibly helpful. I bought my first car 8 years ago and had religiously taken it to the Mazda dealership for service which is either in San Jose or Salinas (ugh). I was always disappointed with their service - they did the bare minimum, charged an arm and a leg, and always recommended the most unnecessary repairs. This is my second visit to Mick's after breaking up with my dealerationship and this time, I went in for my 60,000 mile service. Their communication is great and they are realistic with their recommendations. They are also helpful at planning out when things *should* be done, given the cost of the maintenance. Me and my car, Maggie the Mazda, have finally found our home garage!

I moved over the hill after years of bringing my Toyota to Mick's for dependable, trustworthy, thorough service. And found that I could find I could not find all three at any one garage on this side of the hill. I still bring my Toyota to Mick's when I need all three, and it is worth the extra effort (a two hour drive, both for drop off and pick up). You will pay a little more here than some other options -- including good ones that are trustworthy but not thorough, when you can find that -- but you are getting multiple levels of integrity with Mick's, and supporting a business with a real community-rooted, hometown vibe. I could be wrong, but when I go in this shop I feel like multiple people have been together here for decades, maybe since childhood, like a family. That's pretty cool, and says a lot.

We recently moved from Campbell and this was my first experience at Mick's Automotive, but it won't be my last. They make it easy to schedule an appointment, drop off can be the night before and pick up can be done after they've closed. EASY when you are working the same hours as they are open. They are super responsive once they have your car. Sending updates or calling if they've found something they want you to be aware of. Robert was terrific to work with. We had a great mechanic in San Jose that we used for years. I worried we wouldn't find the same here but turns out we found Mick's and feel luckier for it!

I love Micks. I’ve taken my Tacoma there 2 times since I moved here 5 years ago. I enjoy talking to them since they know what they are talking about and also they are warm and friendly. This time they gave my truck a complete head to toe. I was afraid of a possible fuel leak, when the possibility of that was eliminated, I asked them to get it ready for an out of state trip which they took care of. I needed a new battery and spark plugs. I trust their thoroughness and their high standards of automotive care. It’s worth the investment
