We had our car towed here to work on. When we came to retrieve our car we discovered they stole the stereo and back up camera then locked the car back up. When I asked for the inspection paperwork they couldn't find it. Instead the mechanic half hazardly wrote down on a piece of paper that the timing chain broke. Our car doesn't have a chain, it has a belt. They didn't even do an inspection. We filed a police report.

I cannot thank these guys enough. From the manager, to the technicians they really got me out of a jam in a hurry! I'm an insurance adjustor running casualty claims and am 3000 miles from home as I run across the country during storm events. I was on a claim 2 hours from my hotel when my rear brakes decided they were done without a warning! Not having the resources and tools with me to do the work myself, these guys fit me into their already full schedule and got me on the road in just 2 hours. I had not been to Midas in 5+ years because since I purchased my car in 2020 I had been taking it to the dealership for oil changes just because it was easy. I needed my brakes inspected and possibly worked on, so I decided to go back to Midas on the Guide, where I used to go with my other cars. I have always had excellent service at this Midas. The manager is personable and informative, and very intentional about explaining things in a way you can understand (even if you don't know much about car parts) and about pricing and getting the go ahead before any work is done. In the end, I spent less than I thought I'd have to, and I know why my brakes were squeaky and how to deal with it if it happens again, as well as having information about options and costs to plan for when I have to replace the brake pads.

Very good service. Informative and followed through on information they gave me. Drop off your car or wait for it. Barnes and Noble is close by and has a coffee shop. I will continue to have work done on my car at this shop . They replaced my muffler. It was installed 3 years ago, there, and was covered under warranty for parts. Information that I did not know, but was told. Honest, and reliable.

Went in to get an oil change and get a new serpentine belt and was up charged. Normally I would bring in my dad or brother so I don’t get scammed as a woman, I didn’t think that would happen if it was just for an oil change, I was wrong! Desk attendant told me that if I went on the freeway my tire was going to blow up and I needed a new ones (which was true), but my estimate of the repairs was $4,700. When I went next door to Les Schwab they estimated $1,600. I do not recommend, especially when there are much better auto repair places in town.
