The pins needed to be cleaned during my brakes being changed. They tried to tell me they needed to be replaced and attempted to charge me 700 dollars in additional unnecessary repairs and replacement parts Took my car to righters for another estimate low and behold my repair cost went from 1.5k to 800. This place scams and tells you that you need parts before they know you need them. Do not recommend

Great place for all automotive repairs, from mufflers,exhaust , oil changes, shocks, tires , brakes air conditioners, batteries every other auto needs , they are fair and reasonable and the staff is very friendly and professional. Come and check um out. I had a lube and oil filter and transmission and filter change and anti free change and the work was done very quickly , Misty and her staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Looking forward to returning soon. 😀

Missy is absolutely amazing! She is so sweet and welcoming, yet very knowledgeable. Took my Equinox in on Saturday morning, and I was out by 1 PM with a new fuel pump and a fresh bill of health for my vehicle. I'm not sure which mechanic worked on my car, but he was wonderful! I never feel like I'm getting ripped off at this shop.

These techs aren't very intelligent. They said because a car had residual around the valve cover gasket and the oil pan gasket its a symptom of it needing a timing belt which I've never heard of and talked to multiple techs who said that doesn't even make sense. The valve cover gasket had residual because they were just done and it was leaking down towards the pan all residual. I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle here.

I've been to Midas on 2 occasions. My most recent visit was 12/30/23. My check engine light was on and I had a print out with a code and a solution to the problem. I had talked with a couple friends and they advised me to have it checked out by a mechanic before investing any money in having the recommended part installed. I expected I would have to make an appointment and come back after the holidays. They were able to get me in right away and fixed the problem in an hour or less. Both times I was there they were professional, treated me with respect and fixed my vehicle at a reasonable cost. Their waiting area was also clean and comfortable. I will definitely check with them first when my car requires service.

I cannot believe how unorganized this place is. 12/18/24 my front left ball joint went out on me, had it towed to Midas on W Saginaw in Lansing and they did the work, cost us about $1600 I think. All fine and dandy..months go by, I notice that my car still continued making a clunk noise..so literally weeks ago I brought my car back in, I don't remember the exact date, but they called back to tell us it would be like $1800 to fix or whatever, so we called back and said that we had the work done there and missy or misty, whatever her name is said "oh yep. You're right..we fixed it, so we'll get it fixed for you again since it's under warranty". Must've been a faulty part, not their fault. Stuff happens! She even mentioned that my wheel bearing might be going bad. Cool..car got fixed, weeks later clunking noise again..9/3, we brought my vehicle in. They said it was my front right ball joint going bad now..said it'd be about $530, this was Paul I was speaking with at the time. I told them we'll just grab the car and we had it fixed ourselves. So now, TODAY 9/13 I call because my left front side of my car is still making a noise. A pop noise now. I spoke to that lady, told her that I wanted to get my car in for them to check the work they did a few weeks ago and to see if maybe again, they gave me a faulty part and she claims they don't have ANY kind of invoice that they did anything to my car and that the only thing showing is from December. Like what?! You don't log in information at this place? You don't keep track of the work you do on vehicles or something? How can I prove that this was on them and not me? Because I will not be paying for BAD parts that THEY have used on my car. But not like I can prove it's under warranty since they keep no record or anything! Just the way it's unorganized there and the nasty attitude she always gives is so frustrating. Then she proceed to say "well I mean we can take a look at it" why on earth would you think I want to bring my vehicle in if you have no information or proof of the work YOU GUYS did on my car? So that you can tell me it's this or that and it'll cost an arm and a leg? For a part that is under warranty but still gonna charge me for? Unbelievable. I'll never bring my car to this place nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

I was in Lansing visiting family when my front brakes started grinding really bad. I made an appointment and the person I spoke with was very pleasant and friendly. When I arrived they took my car in back, about 15 minutes later a guy comes out to talk to me telling me it will be over $1,200 and I shouldn't be driving the car. I simply did not have $ 1,200+ with me and had to decline. The gentleman continued to pressure me to have the work done, stressing the safety of the car. I didn't disagree, but I was unable to afford the repair. I took my chances and drove home to northern Michigan and scheduled an appointment with my regular service facility. I had an additional payday under my belt so I also had them do an oil change. The front brake work AND the oil change came to $ 425. I was shocked. It would appear to me that Midas was taking advantage of my being out of town and priced me $900 over what the repair actually was. I cannot recommend this place and certainly would not ever trust them in the future. Shameful.

I’ve taken my truck to Midas several times over the past year have had my brakes serviced hoses changed and exhaust fixed every time I’ve brought my vehicle it’s been assessed quoted and fixed. I’m very pleased with the staffs knowledge and work ethic they aim to please and definitely put the Midas touch on everything they work on!

If anyway possible take your vehicle somewhere else. These folks are crooks and try to use MI laws to sell you services other than what you asked for. Mechanic actually told me he would loose his license if he only made repairs I asked for because my car wouldn’t be safe, but I leave the Chevy dealer with a list of repairs they recommended and they stay in business and keep they license. Shady people, and learn from my mistake

We got a battery from Autozone but they were unable to finish the entire job because they didn't have the correct equipment. We ran over to Midas and they were able to take a look at it, get the piece put back on, and sent me on my way, happy and satisfied within a reasonable amount of time. The staff here is honestly always great. They are our go to anytime we have any car trouble. They do not disappoint!!
