My vehicle was taken in because the serpentine belts was snapped. The belt was replaced with no notes, or mention of any checking the tensioner, pulleys, or anything else. Fast forward 10k miles later, the vehicle needs an oil change. Upon inspection the serpentine belt is noticeably warn on the outside edge....to the point of being replaced. Now we are being told that every time the belt gets replaced it is recommended to replace the tensioner and pully. When asked why that wasn't mentioned before, we were told nothing got inspected and no notes were made. After arguing with the Manager about 0 inspection being done we were told to jut pay our bill and leave.

Traveling from Tucson to Sacramento, front end began to shake upon acceleration. Due to previous great service at another Midas shop in Citrus Heights, CA., we found this location. Mike and Jaime got us fixed up with new CV axle and we were back on the road in 2 hours! Above and beyond only touches the surface. Highly recommend. Thank you, guys!

Going to Midas and getting an Oil change was a great experience. Besides doing the oil change, they inform me of repairs that needed to be done with the vehicle inspection. And top of everything they were honest enough to cancel the tire rotation due to my back right rear tire needing to be replaced. They save me a tow bill, the tire was worn out to the tread. I will give Midas 5 stars ⭐ and will highly recommend anybody to give them a visit. Thank you Midas for all your work Jorge Rodriguez

I did not show up because I do not trust the recommendation or pricing. Inconsistent across service desk people. Price difference of a couple hundred dollars. If you are going to lie about problems on my car, at least keep your story straight.

If a person makes an appointment to get his/her car diagnostic test, why a person has to wait from 3 to 4 hours just to get a diagnostic done, and if the person decides to get the car repair, there are another 4 to 5 hours to get it done. What I am saying is if I made an appointment the mechanic should concentrate on that car and not doing 3 or 4 cars at the same time. That’s my problem, the waiting time!

I actually had a good experience thanks to Mike Myers for his excellent customer service. For chatting with my while I waited for my car. Made my experience a lot less boring. I was able to use a coupon which I only paid $42 for my oil change. Thank you Midas on White Ln Bakersfield California. I would highly recommend them, and I have.

I will not be visiting this location anymore. I scheduled an oil change online and when I arrived, they told me that I did not have an appointment scheduled. I showed them a copy of the email confirming my time and they said there was nothing that they could do about it. They said I would have to wait until after they finished an appointment that was scheduled 30 minutes after my appointment. I was displeased with the handling of that situation.

On road trip, front end started to shimmy. Arrived at shop at opening time, Mike greeted us warmly. They performed a thorough inspection and confirmed the need of a left front CV axle replacement. Part delivered and Jaime has us back on the road in 2 hours, all without an appointment. Best customer service I've ever had. Highly recommend this repair shop. Thanks Mike and Jaime!

It was great. They were busy and still fixed breaks same day because that was what was requested. It would’ve been 5 stars but one of the guys would not give me straight answers if my car could be done same day. I only had one car and couldn’t be without it so it was stressful waiting to find out if it could or could not be done. He left and another person called and gave me assurances and made me at ease. I recommend this place. Great service and work.

adrian is the worst employee, my friend and i have been coming here for months and never had a problem- she got hired recently and has showed her true colors since, very rude and dismissive. would not recommend speaking to her; speak to someone else.

I do not recommend coming here for your car repair needs. I came in yesterday and told the lady Alondra that my steering wheel doesn’t return to the center at all, makes a hissing noise when you turn it off, and the steering feels loose. I told them I have done 4 alignments within the past month! She made note of it and she started the car and said she hears a noise too. I told her I hear it it’s off. This shop is a Carmax repairpal shop and I use them for my warranty needs. She told me to plan to leave it for at least 24 hours and possibly expect to pay for $90 to look over the suspension (remind you most of the suspension components are new) if Carmax doesn’t cover it. I get a call from Alondra and she told me they think it’s the alignment and that Carmax won’t cover the $90 and they want me to pay for another alignment!!! I talked to the mechanic and he told me the caster was off and I told him that he doesn’t think it could be anything else. I talked to the advisor and he said that they have to do the alignment to see what the problem is which doesn’t make sense. The lady in the front, advisor, and manager are not knowledgeable at all. I will not be coming back and don’t recommend this place for any car repair needs. Remind you they did NOT catch the problems with cv axles, tie rods etc. last time I came by for an oil change and they also they do their “full check over.”Another shop caught it and repaired it. Don’t recommend at all.

Had a great experience with Mike Myers, he was amazing, kind and super friendly. Mike was easy to talk to and he explained the problems that my vehicle had in a way I was able to understand. Can’t even get an oil change correctly. Had problems after they serviced the car. Go to Big O Tires. They helped me. Mideas employees even point to go next door (Big O Tires) service center over their own.

Definitely recommend going somewhere else! Brought our vehicle in before summer to get our ac fixed and they replaced the compressor. By the end of summer it had stopped working again. (I suspect they billed for a compressor to get a large amount of funds and just recharged the Freon.) We brought it in again last week before the summer weather starts and this time they claimed the issue was the evaporator so we had that replaced. When I dropped off the vehicle I told them a separate issue we were having that needed to be looked at also was our engine severely shaking while in park. I requested they check motor mounts and spark plugs. During the time our vehicle was in the shop the girl working the front called to go over our warranty. When I called her back to let her know our warranty admitted they made a mistake as far as what our deductible was and asked me to have her call them back real quick, she let out the biggest, most annoyed sigh. I felt like I was inconveniencing her and I apologized profusely. After we got off the phone I realized wait why am I apologizing here for her bad attitude. Apparently doing her job professionally and having good customer service is too much to expect from her. A few days later when our vehicle was finally ready to be picked up they claimed they couldn’t even find the source of the shaking and said it probably wasn’t anything. I asked if the motor mounts or spark plugs were checked and the girl at the counter claimed “oh yeah they check all that stuff.” Weird because on the form that shows what’s checked they weren’t! The girl at the counter also tried to charge us DOUBLE and thankfully after we pressed the issue a higher up employee caught the mistake. Now a week later the shaking they claimed they couldn’t find is still there and turns out it’s in fact our motor mounts! On top of that suddenly our oil is leaking now after leaving their shop. Moral of the story, find somewhere else!

1st time receiving services at Midas. I made my appointment with A.j. , a week prior and down loaded my coupon for a oil change. Normally take my car to the dealer, which has gotten very expensive and long waits. I arrived at 8:15 and was waited on immediately. A.j. helped me, honored my coupon and explained the full expense for my services. I explained this was my 1st visit to Midas and if satisfied, with their services, would be returning. After, taking her time, to break down the fees and services( very patiently), she said it would be a 45 minute wait. I walked down the block for some coffee 40 minutes later, A.J. , called to say my car was ready. I am very pleased and very satisfied with the services rendered and how everything was explains to me, in detail. I will, definitely, be returning for future oil changes.

This was my first visit to any Midas location and I wasn't sure what to expect. Made the appt online for one of my days-off-work. Arrived on time and was seen right away. Checked in with the clerk behind the desk (shout out to AJ on White Lane in Bakersfield!), went over what needed to be done and left my key with her. I was kept up-to-date on the progress on my car and was always asked for permission every time if I wanted to proceed with optional- though recommended- work. I was provided with discounts and a payment plan (I had parts replaced in addition to an oil change). The payment plan was really nice to have since my bill was on the higher end than what I'm used to paying. I just hope they can get new card readers for the check-out process ASAP! Overall, the location was clean, uncluttered, well kept. Since I got an early slot, it was not busy- I was the only customer there on a weekday morning- and it was quiet. The atmosphere was pleasant, customer-friendly, professional and safe. I brought a book to read, but there's Free WiFi available and a TV quietly streaming a show. I recommend this location to anyone regardless if its just an oil change or if there's more work needed. They are professional and friendly, services are reasonably priced, located at a safe location with decent hours of operation. If you made it this far, thank you for reading!
