★★☆☆☆ I brought my car in for major repairs, including a water pump and timing belt kit. The staff was friendly, the work was completed the same day, and my car is running well again, which I appreciate. However, I was charged $568.99 for the timing belt kit (parts only), a part that costs under $200 from reputable sources. On top of that, labor for the timing belt was $717.46, bringing that portion of the repair close to $1,300. I understand repair shops charge more for warranty and overhead, but this level of markup felt excessive, especially for a common vehicle like a 1996 Camry. I was upcharged by 50% or more on almost every part I purchased today, not including labor costs. If you go here, ask for a full itemized breakdown ahead of time. They do good work, but be cautious about the costs.

★★★★★ I needed an oil change so I found this Midas shop near me. The service manager on duty, Ryan, was a friendly guy who knew his stuff and got me in and out in an hour. The store was spotless both the reception area and the garage. Besides an oil change Ryan also gave me a list of things that would probably need looking at in the near future and I agreed as I was aware of a couple things but not aware of some others. No heavy pressure here which was refreshing! I recommend this Midas shop. They do it all. MW
