DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE!! My oil drain plug was not tightened correctly. It ended up falling out on the highway, all my oil drained, now we’re just hoping the engine didn’t seize up. Almost caused an accident on the turnpike. Whole car is covered in oil. If you care about your car, don’t come here!

So happy with the new ownership! Finding a trustworthy and respectful mechanic can be super intimidating—but this place honestly made me feel so comfortable. The staff was really polite, explained everything clearly, and didn’t talk down to me or try to push extra services. Which I really appreciated being a student and all. Had a great experience from beginning to end. Unfortunately my alternator needed to be replaced and Brett was excellent in quickly determining the best and most cost effective solution including getting the part and completing the repair the same day. The price was lower than other places I called and their expert knowledge and friendly service was a breath of fresh air. My husband brought our 2022 Hyundai Tucson into this Midas shop for possible new brakes and a tire alignment on July 15 of 2025. Brett was our service advisor. They checked the brakes and placed the vehicle on the alignment rack for inspection. Brett came back and said that the brakes were in excellent shape and the alignment was perfect and that nothing needed to be done The next day My husband brought our Daughter's 2017 Hyundai Tucson in for a potential rear wheel bearing job. Brett and his mechanic brought the vehicle into the service area and 10 minutes later informed my husband that the vehicle needed a new engine but not to worry because the vehicle was under a recall from Hyundai and that they would probably replace the entire engine and give her a loaner vehicle while they repaired hers. That is exactly what happened. Brett saved our Daughter and her family many thousands of dollars with his expert knowledge and advice. No brakes or alignment needed and a free engine replacement for our Daughter' vehicle. I do believe we have found a new repair shop named Midas Auto Service & Tires at 4680 South University Drive in Davie. I usually dread going into car shop/mechanic I feel like they never listen to you and don’t do what you ask. I walked in. They recommended some things I explained to them. I purchased two new tires 2 weeks ago and paid over $1000. My decision to go with Midas was in part the lifetime warranty. In two weeks I've had to come back twice for the same tire which keeps losing air. The first time a "small puncture" with no object identified was patched. This time they could not find a leak but said they would just replace the tire as obviously something was defective. At no time, not when I first purchased nor today, just two weeks later, did anyone mention that I would have to pay labor for the warranty replacement tire. I should have read the fine print, but this would have been nice to mention to the customer. I would not be that upset if some time had gone by but this is literally 2 weeks after brand new tires. Guess there is no warranty on the labor I already paid for, not even the first 30 days that is standard at every other auto service provider. My time is valuable too and this was stressful having to come back twice in two weeks and not being able to rely on the quality of a $500 tire. We have taken my son's car, my husband car, and my husband's work cars to this Midas...and for $42.50 they have lost us as customers. Way to stand by your work Midas!

First time back since this location went to under new ownership and I must say I'm quite impressed by the service, the speed of service and the service personnel. Full synthetic oil change brought me in today and the price was about $50.00 less than what I usually pay! Being an older single female and of course Leary of places that tend to try and take advantage of people like me , I didn't get that gut feel with the new ownership staff like I did with the previous ownership staff, which is why I stopped going there. They were friendly , knowledgeable and they took the time to listen to my issues and or concerns or questions. . I had my brakes checked a couple of weeks ago from the place that actually replaced the brakes, and I was told they're fine and just to give this new ownership a chance if you will, I asked them to check the brakes and I wanted to hear their response and they came back and told me my brakes are fine... Had they told me anything different I would not be inclined to return because I would have felt they were doing what I get on a regular basis and that is " " ripping me off**. Tarek and his team are amazing. They have great pricing and the customer service is awesome. They treated me like they have known me for years. The tech figured out my issue within a few minutes and my vehicle is back on the road like new again. The dealer I took it to initially kept the vehicle there for 3 days charged me $625 for shop fees alone and said the part would get in for 2 weeks. Took my vehicle to Midas and they quickly found the issue. Tarek made a phone call and the part was installed the same day. And!!! it was only $225.00. Great team at Midas Davie.
