My father stayed here for 2 weeks post back surgery. Great experience. Facility is nice, clean and welcoming. Staff and medical team were all very accommodating and displayed compassion towards my father. He at times, was a very demanding, and challenging patient. However, they never lost their patience. Hope we never need their services again, but if we do, we will go back with no hesitation.

I attended a senior breakfast at Midlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital and was truly impressed. The facility is beautiful, the staff was welcoming, and the hospitality was top tier. My mother went here and I am not impressed by this rehab facility. She went to another one recently and they were awesome. We were told they were the same place but this one was closer to where we lived. Then when she went here we found out they only leave the room for things like physical therapy. She ate every meal in her room and was just moved from her bed to her chair to eat. At the other rehab, the same place but located in Cayce, they had the patients eat in the dining area and let families come eat with them. I don't understand why they are so different if they are the same rehab with 2 location. Furthermore, now that she is out of rehab I have some questions for them about home health. I have called 4 times and it just rings on end. On the 4th time a nurse answered and forwarded me to a case worker and that also just rang on end and then call ended. There should at least be a recording where I can leave a voicemail to get a call back in 24 hours or something. It is frustrating not being able to speak to someone.

I had the opportunity to tour Midlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital during a networking event and was very impressed. The facility is clean, welcoming, and full of compassionate energy. As we walked the halls, patients smiled and waved, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout. The tour, led by Celeste Mercer, reflected a strong culture of care. Even though I was there professionally, I left feeling confident that I would trust this facility with a family member’s rehabilitation. A truly top-notch hospital.
