Took my girlfriends car in to be inspected. Talked to Mike on the phone prior and it was stated that no work would be done if it's over 20 bucks. Took it in and also asked again to make sure that nothing would be done until talking to me first. Called me later that day said a bunch of stuff needed done coming to a little over a grand. I told him to hold off so I could discuss with my girlfriend to see if we should get a second opinion. Called Mike back and said we were going to hold off on the repairs and come pick up the car. When I went to pick it up, I asked if I owed anything for at least looking it over and holding the car. Mike said I had to pay for the emissions test and that it passed, but he can't put on the safety stickers until the repairs were done, essentially holding my car hostage so he could get that money. Totally screwed me. Not sure if that was legal, but I'm getting what really needs done and getting it reinspected. In regards to if this was legal or not I will find out. Shady regardless. Doing an emissions test sounds like work that I asked not to be done, as well as you agreed. Thanks and I will steer everyone I know and don't know away from your garage.

Mike and his crew are helpful, responsive, fast and knowledgeable. On 2 recent occasions I have taken my rather elderly Ford delivery van to them. The first time was for a bad rear axle bearing, and the second was to replace an emergency brake cable. The bearing, along with rear brakes, was replaced the day I dropped it off. The parking brake cable took longer, as Ford no longer made the part and the available aftermarket parts did not fit correctly. After talking to several suppliers and trying 11, yes 11, different aftermarket cables, Mike and his team fabricated a means to get the emergency brakes to work like new. After looking for a good, reliable, and responsive mechanic in our area for almost 7 years, Mike has been a godsend. For the record, despite having the same last name, Mike and I are not at all related...just a coincidence from having a very common name.

I had a number of minor items repaired on my car, got an oil change, and got it inspected. As usual, the work was done well ahead of when it was estimated to be completed, staff was courteous and attentive, and the price was very reasonable. Love this shop!

Called ahead. Remembered what my car was and why I called. Customer first oriented. Went to change an alternator out. In and out. Only problem was that I was blocked in from other customers and the for sale vehicles which isn't really the shops fault so I won't make a big stink about it. Great down to earth shop. Great place to avoid all the corporate BS.

I had a great experience with Mike Miller Auto. I have an older Honda 1990 to be exact and after a few issues with working on an unfamiliar and perplexing power steering issue...I was there it was a mind blower. I am completely satisfied. Great mechanics and reasonable cost. 5 star all the way!

Mike the owner seems to care about his customers and does what he can to ensure a proper diagnosis and repair of your vehicle. I moved into the neighborhood ten years ago. Mike has worked on four cars for me over that ten year period and has always been straightforward with me. His communication is great and his work is fantastic. He can keep your car running and the prices are fair. I had a Jeep Wrangler and had taken it to him several times for different repairs. He always told me what needed to be done and what 'should' be done but never pressured me to do more than was necessary to keep it legal and running. He always communicates with me letting me know what he sees when he is looking at my cars. When I took the Wrangler in for brakes, he called me later and told me I may not want to 'replace' my brake lines as the frame had big rust issues and I was going to eventually have to deal with that issue or get rid of it, and replacing those lines would cost a lot if I were getting rid of it. I drove the Jeep for about two months on the patched up brake lines until I sold it, and he even painted the rust holes yellow so I could see them. I have gone to many mechanics over the years and most of them I wouldn't go back to. When you find a good one you keep that phone number handy. Mike and the people at his shop are good ones, and if my car is being towed, that's where it's going.

I highly recommend this shop. The owner seems very trustworthy and I feel comfortable bringing my car here, which I can’t say for a lot of other places. In the few times I’ve had work done, I never felt like they were being dishonest or trying to sell me on anything I didn’t need. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. They always get me in quickly and get my car done in a short timeframe. There was even a day where I discovered a nail in my tire - called them right away and they had my tire patched up within a couple hours. I really appreciate this shop!

I highly recommend this shop for a PA state safety inspection, especially if you own a Tesla! I called other places that refused to inspect my Tesla Model Y due to lack of familiarity, but this team was knowledgeable and confident. Scheduling was effortless, and the drop-off/pickup process was quick and easy. The staff was courteous and professional. They've definitely earned my loyalty for future inspections. The lot is small but you can park in an open spot.
