Called a number of local car places. One individual told me he didn't work on transmissions and then hung up on me. One company gave a very wrong diagnosis over the phone (which would have entailed spending thousands of dollars to remedy the aforementioned 'diagnosis'). . . Ended up with a personal referral to Mike's. He solved a dire transmission-related issue, one that had me puzzling over its cause for hours, fast and charged such a fair rate I almost felt guilty. He also seemed very affable and open. . . It's not a stretch for me to say that that was the best automotive-repair experience I've ever had and I will certainly be returning.

Pulled into the shop with a car I had just driven from Virginia that was in very bad shape. Mike, the owner, immediately looked for the issue, found it, and had the car driving like new not even 2 hours later. The price was incredibly fair and he even took a second look at it a week later to make sure it was still in good shape free of charge. This will be my mechanic shop as long as I'm in the Central NY area. There's a reason this place had so many 5 star reviews, if you're looking for an honest mechanic shop with fair prices consider yourself lucky for finding this place.

Was recommended here by a co-worker. Looked a bit shady like a typical corner shop but I gave them a try anyway. I spoke with both the reception/desk lady and one of the mechanical staff and both were very easy-going and professional. Had my inspection, tires swapped and mounting of new license plates. Cost me much less than I expected and it was done in a few hours. I will go here again.

Reasonably priced and very quick! My SUV broke down and I called him early Thursday morning, was able to get it towed there that day and fixed up by Friday afternoon. He kept me informed throughout the repairs and was super pleasant to deal with!

Mike is in general one of the best people I have ever met. He is very honest and fair. The work that he and his team does is the best. Everyone that works there are amazing. If you need something done on your vehicle bring it there, you will not be disappointed. They are also fast at what they do , your vehicle is in and out before you know it also if there is something wrong after the work is done they do not hesitate to correct the problem.
