★★★☆☆ A bizarre experience really. Said come by around 2. Then stated he should be back at 2:30. Side door opened shortly after 2:30 and he asked what I wanted done. Cut out old resonator, replace with one I brought, delete mufflers, reuse pipe and tips. Quoted a price. Said fine. Asked me to go into office, it would be an hour and asked for key. Off he went with my car. 5 min later a side door opened and he said it wasn't going to work. I convinced him the resonator I brought would fit (1/2 the size of one being removed) and even showed him where it would go. His response was that using my tips would require y-pipes. I could tell NOTHING would have made him happier than me driving away and him not doing the job. I said you want more $ to get this done...50 more. He said I could go back into office. 2.5 hours later I went to open side door to ask about progress (had been quoted an hour) and he had locked me in there. I was at his mercy. About 45 min later I heard a car revving and he pulled up in front of the office window. No inspection of work. Few words spoken. Cash given and away I went. Most bizarre automotive experience in my 52 years. I sort of felt imprisoned. But in the end I got what I bargained for....a square meal (my exhaust done). Would add photos but couldn't look at the warden's work.
