The mechanics in there are con artist and the try to rip you off any chance they get. Because they're now the only gas station in that area they price gouge. I went in there one time to get an inspection for my Van They failed me telling me that my inner and outer tire rods Was no good causing my will to rattle And that they can fix both sides for $500 To $600 then pass me But when I show them a receipt that I had both sides inner and outer tire Rods changed by another mechanic Shop a little more than a month ago and that I was a mechanic and know that they did the job correctly They then try to hit that if I threw them a little extra money they Would pass me for my inspection. For the people that think this mechanic shop and gas station is good I recommend you go across the bridge and price check with other mechanic shops And gas stations you may be surprised at how much they have been taking advantage of you

I visited this location for the first time this past Friday. My cousin always raves about the service and she trusts the staff here. She's a tough cookie, so I took her advice. I met Juan and found him to be very personable, trust-worthy and helpful. I didn't understand why my car wouldn't pass inspection and he was helpful giving me the upside and the options available to me should more work need to be done. I'll make sure when I'm in town again to visit this shop for my automotive needs. It's no small thing to have a place you can trust. I recommend them.

I went here in July for a car inspection. They checked it relatively quickly and said that they could not pass it without replacing my axle piston which was going to be $500. I went somewhere else and they passed it no problem. I asked another mechanic about the axle issue that they had raised today and he said it was completely fine. Seems like they lied to me. I would not recommend coming here for an inspection.

They do an amazing job and are very fast (but not too fast!) I got my oil, coolant and brake fluid changed. They did the work really quickly and even gave me advice without being too pushy. I would definitely recommend!

friendly, professional, efficient and fair!! best garage in manhattan. every time i come to mobil auto center on 145th st i am treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism by Juan and his team. I trust their recommendations completely- they give sound advice based on what my car needs and never try to upsell me on something unnecessary. I have been coming here for over five years and it is my pleasure to give them my business. even when they are busy they hustle to get all of the work done in a timely fashion and the work is always of the utmost quality. I typically come to them for routine care such as oil changes and inspections but any time i’ve had a more serious issue (brakes, etc) they will alert me to it and take care of it in a courteous and respectful manner. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at an auto center / garage - could not recommend them more!
