They are so honest and transparent. We had a latch malfunction with a fairly new car (2023 year model) and instead of telling us to come back to get it fixed at their business, they told us this is 100% covered by car warranty. I bought a new headlight and needed it installed, so I came here. They told me they wouldn't do it because it's too much work. What? You're a mechanic that's kinda your job. Nasty attitude on top of it. Wouldn't suggest this place to an enemy.

I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend this shop to anyone. They advertise themselves as a “complete foreign & domestic repair shop,” but when I asked about an engine replacement, the mechanic said they don’t do that at this location. Fine—that’s their choice. I already have a better shop and is replacing my engine they maybe thought I was broke or who knows but anyway way the real issue is that after leaving my car, several of my personal belongings disappeared. Guest what they did, they left my car in the street for a few days without any consent or like if my money isn’t worth anything. I lost two toolboxes worth over $500, Ray-Ban sunglasses ($200), my EZ Pass, charging cables/adapters, perfume, clothes from my backpack, also a head unit that was in green box and more. On top of that, I paid their diagnostic fee (which I don’t mind since that’s part of their job), but when it comes to my missing belongings, I’m the one who takes the loss. It’s been 3 days and I still haven’t gotten a single answer or resolution from the shop. Items don’t just vanish into thin air. The worst part is the complete lack of responsibility or concern from their side. The reviews may make this place look like a trustworthy shop and that’s the reason I came here for, but my experience was the opposite. Be very careful leaving your car or belongings here, because once something goes missing, you’re on your own.

I highly recommend this shop!! I needed to get my NYS Inspection completed as the sticker expired for August. I called several other shops in the area but they were all closed for Labor Day which is understandable. I called this shop and they were open and had NO WAIT. I pulled up and they completed the inspection in minutes. On top of that, they explained that my car had an open recall for a part and said why it was dangerous and how I need to get it fixed at the car dealership. Overall the service was impeccable and fast. I will return again in the future and recommend this to friends/family.

Found Inwood by chance and I am truly impressed. Adam is a man of his word. I found him online, dropped off my car, and engine replacement without ever meeting him. He took care of everything and was straight forward and honest with me from the beginning. The car leaked anti freeze from a bad hose and Adam took care of the repair IMMEDIATELY . I would HIGHLY recommend Inwood and Adam. I met 100s of mechanics and a bad mechanic will cost you triple in the long run.

Trustworthy, thorough, and caring are not words I would use to describe auto mechanics. However, at Inwood Arch Automotive, the three adjectives are perfect for Adam’s and Johnny’s business. I had an issue with my engine misfiring and I took it to my mechanic to see if they were able to fix it. I got overcharged and the issue kept returning. I researched inwood and the reviews were decent. They diagnosed the issue and resolved it within and hour and we're reasonably priced. I was also given the printout after they hooked up to my cars computer. Give them a shot

I went to the shop twice on the recommendation of a friend. Both time for shocks. I received excellent service and a fair price. Adam was personally involved and walked me through every step. They got me out the same day even though on the second day they were obviously swamped. I was overwhelmed just looking at the line of cars they had to work on but Adam committed to getting me out on time. I come on Friday which is today they close early. And I came late. They hustled and got my repairs done quickly and efficiently, including a test drive. I was able to leave my car, go do some work, and return to a finished product. I highly recommend this shop.

These guys took my car in on short notice and with limited space and they treated me like family. They were transparent, and quoted me a fair price while finding me the best prices on parts. I was skeptical based on my prior experiences at other shops but I left here satisfied and will be coming back.
