Contacted Mobile Mechanic Pros of Philly for a pre-purchase inspection since we are from out of town. They promptly arranged for and conducted a thorough inspection of the vehicle. Their inspection identified some significant areas of concern, and they provided us with a lot of photos and a succinct written summary. But even more importantly, they reported on the general sketchiness of the "dealer" who didn't even have a legit storefront and didn't have tags on the vehicle (so they couldn't test drive it except for in the parking lot). Suffice it to say, we are not buying that car (nor anything else from those people). It was a couple hundred bucks very well spent, and they were really responsive and great to work with.

They do not warranty their work. Look for another company who will honor their workmanship warranty. I had a battery installed by them 2 months ago and now my car will not start. I called and asked them if they had a workmanship warranty and they said they do not They manipulated the conversation to say if it’s the battery that’s dead then they cannot fix it. I told them the battery cannot die in 2 months to come check their work. They then said I was trying to get it my way how I wanted it for a free service. Totally irresponsible company. Do not waste your time money or attention to this place you Will Regret it if something goes wrong with your car down the line. Be responsible and just take to a reputable shop

Called for immediate replacement of a dead battery while I was about to leave for a long drive. The person on the phone was helpful and quoted me a very reasonable price for an immediate roadside replacement: $335. He dispatched a technician and within 30 minutes Samir arrived. He was extremely friendly, tested my battery and confirmed it needed replacement, and replaced it expeditiously. We made sure my car was all set, he gave me some advice on keeping my battery helpful, and with that I was back on the road in less than an hour. Highly recommend!

Sam arrived 5 minutes early to our appointment at the PHL airport (my car’s alternator died in the parking lot) on a Sunday afternoon and promptly completed the removal of my failed alternator and replaced it with a new alternator. This is an excellent service and small business. I found myself having accidentally put 2 gallons of kerosene into my gas tank and knew I was facing towing to a mechanic who wouldn’t be open until the morning. I looked around and found Mobile Mechanics and called around 7:30pm and spoke with Sameer. He scheduled me for 9:00-9:40pm but arrived by 8:45pm. I was driving away with the kerosene carefully pumped out and replaced with gas by 9:30pm. Mobile Mechanics will ask for a deposit of the full cost of service prior to coming out, and then will request the remainder of payment once the service is completed. Sameer was extremely pleasant, competent, and even reassuring of my mistake. I will be keeping Mobile Mechanic’s information for future use, as well as recommending to friends!
