I went to Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers late on a Friday night after being turned away by a couple of other tire shops. I needed a new tire and didn't want to have to wait until the next week, because I was riding on a donut. I was willing and expecting to at least have to wait until the next day, especially since the shop was closing in about an hour, but I just wanted to have a confirmed appointment. When I walked into the shop, I was greeted warmly by Alex. I explained the situation and he immediately went outside to inspect my vehicle (something that neither of the other 2 shops had done). Alex got my tire measurements, looked up the inventory and explained the cost breakdown. To my pleasant surprise, he said they could have the tire replaced right away! I know that repair shops have other service work to tend to, but a tire change is generally a quick fix. I wasn't expecting for my vehicle to be prioritized by the other shops especially at the end of the night, but it seems a bit absurd that they wanted me to wait several days to have my tire changed, when the tire I needed was already sitting in the shop. Alex had a service technician replace my tire and I was out of the shop in less than 30 minutes. He truly made my day and saved me from a stressful weekend, knowing that a snowstorm was in the forecast for the following night. Thank you guys for providing excellent customer service and for showing me sincere consideration. I am extremely grateful for the quick repair and I will certainly recommend Monro to others! You guys are awesome!!

It is refreshing to have kind, pleasant staff greet you as you enter an establishment. Everyone was very nice, and patient - even though I annoyingly walked in near closing time. They had good advise but didn't have the tire for my repair. Fortunately, they contacted a sister store which had the tire, and they waited till I got there to solve the problem. Thanks for a great experience.

Terrible place. I went here a few times and told myself they were doing good work for my car. I was wrong. The most recent time I brought my car was the worst mistake of my life. I bring the car in for a bad radiator fan and a brake light. I brought it in Wednesday morning, called out of work and everything to get this done. Wednesday night I call the shop (because they refuse to communicate after you give them your car) and find out the mechanic who was diagnosing my car had a βfamily emergencyβ and left. In this shop full of mechanics not a soul continued his work, they just let my car sit there for another day in the middle of his diagnostics. The next day they apparently look at the car, they want to run me almost $4,500 for all these issues they found and listed off to me. I asked them to fix what I brought it in to be fixed for. They said I really needed a new brake line and I told them fine and asked if it could be finished that day, Thursday. They told me most likely but it could go into Friday. I tell them fine and to let me know. Near closing time I give them a call back (because theyβre allergic to updating you about your car) and they tell me they couldnβt finish but itβd be all set Friday. Friday comes along and after a whole day of working I call the shop. They tell me theyβre having a hard time bleeding my brakes. Begrudgingly I gave these idiots another day. Saturday comes and I was told to expect a call first thing in the morning. I shouldβve known better because 7 hours after they opened I had to call them again. They told me they brought in a master mechanic, still couldnβt bleed my brakes, and ordered the wrong brake light switch. They asked if I was fine being a pedestrian for another 2 days and theyβd work towards completing the job on Monday. I asked them if the car was drivable, Francois over the phone told me sure so I tell him Iβm picking the car up to be returned to them Monday since it was going to sit the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday unworked anyway and they tell me sure and theyβll leave the key in the car. I go to get my car a few hours later and theyβre closed. I turn on my car and Iβm getting a brake light pop up on my dashboard. I start pulling out of the lot and I start hearing clocks everytime my tire rotates and the car wants to pull me to the right really bad. None of this bodes well so Sunday I start looking at my car in depth. I needed work on my front suspension (specifically axels as they were giving out) before I took the car in and now my whole front suspension is entirely shot from axels to tie rods to control arms. Thereβs a piece of my exhaust literally removed from the car (which I donβt understand how a gaping hole is not reported to me when listing off problems with my car), these bums marked up my front right tire with paint then put in 2 nails with washers on them so theyβd jingle every rotation so Iβd think something was wrong with the car, but a drill bit through my rear left tire, did not reconnect my brake sensors so dash would stay lit, ripped off the part of my trunk mat that covered my car battery and just left it laying in my trunk for me to find, and my radiator has somehow began leaking curiously after having never once leaked before even on the day I brought it in. After examining my car I call up the shop Monday and they tell me the correct brake light switch just came in then they hang up on me. I call them right back and told them about all these new problems my car suddenly has after getting it back from them and how Iβm concerned and their response was βokay. Weβll check it out.β Then hung up again. The whole experience was unbelievably unprofessional. They took every instance they could to show me that they really could care less about my car. Theyβd stop looking at the car I was paying them to work on to work on other cars that came into the shop after and prolonged how long theyβd have my car. From Wednesday to the end of Saturday they had me wait while none of the things I came to get fixed were fixed and in fact more problems were created.

Great job. I,d give you guys a five star rating any day. I wish there was a way that you could replace the sensor that removes the "low-tire light" on the panel where my speedometer is. I know it might be stupid but it would help a great deal. Thank you for everything and outstanding customer service. Helen Sprissler, Stoughton, Ma.

The people here make you feel welcome. I have been here now 3 times and all 3 times they were polite, attentive and provided me with good service at a fair price. They were very busy the week of 4th of July and they still provided me with exceptional service.

I drive a 2007 Toyota Corolla and my car has seen many mechanics over the years. Alex is by far the best one. He's thorough, friendly, and genuine. I'm not going anywhere else.

The Brockton Monro location in Massachusetts is an absolute mess of a shop and I feel sorry for whoever has ever had problems or damage caused to their vehicle due to their unprofessional handling and behavior, a simple tire service ended up costing me hundreds of dollars after they broke my wheel hub, took no responsibility or accountability for the damage, insisted that I should buy the parts to fix their damage done to the car and barely acknowledged or tried to fix their damage done vehicle, tried numerous times to contact corporate with no success, contacted district manager and was told that they were not liable for the damage to the car done at the shop by mechanics at the shop. Do not do any business with this company they are a complete joke, no professionalism, no accountability whatsoever and at the end you will end up paying for their own mistakes.

Completely disorganized mess. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I called ahead to make sure my tire was in stock after I had a flat. They confirmed that the tire was in stock and they could install it same day. My car was towed to their shop. However, when I arrived, they informed me that they couldnβt find In their warehouse. So I was stuck there with no way to get a replacement for a week. On top of that single tire was way overpriced. Do not go here.

It was the worst experience I have had after going there for over twenty year's I went in on Monday for an oil change which was done. No problem went back Tuesday as the lights were dim and it wasnt turning over back in March I had a battery installed at Monroe and started having the same problem I ended up having to call aaa for a tow A two truck from SImonellis just happened to come by and looked at my car got it started and I followed them back to there shop (sent the tow truck from triple a away) all simonellts did was tighten the cables to the battery I tried explaining this at Monroe and they would not listen I was getting very frustrated I did rise my voice and did slam the counter at which point the manager told me to leave or apologize I ended up apologizing and the manager told me to go outside and wait someone came out removed a black cap and tested the battery and said it was fine. I then went to simonellis they tightened the cable and sent me on my way. And car is fine Simonellis 1489 main st. Are polite and my new go to mechanics Monroe is under new management again not the professional mechanics the used to be

Place has gone downhill. Went for tires and it 4 days. Lie upon lie by manager on down. People are very understanding if you communicate and communicate truthfully. If you want timely service look elsewhere. I selected overpriced due to treatment of customer and length it took. People would rather pay more for good service.

I stopped by to make an appointment and was surprised that they could service my car that same morning. That was good. But every step after that took significantly longer than they told me it would be even though there was nothing unexpected. I would have preferred to have had a more accurate time estimate so that I would not have interrupted my work schedule waiting and waiting. Finally, everything was done except adding a new gas cap. I was told I would have to wait βjust a half hour moreβ and βIβll go pick it up myself right now. β In retrospect it was clear there was no way the part would be there in 30 minutes just because of distance to the parts warehouse and I learned later that no one from the shop actually went to pick it up. They were waiting for delivery. After already waiting two and half hours for the earlier work and agreeing to wait 30 minutes more for the gas cap, I actually waited another 90 minutes and finally left before the part arrived. What really was the last straw was that they quoted me a price of $64 for the gas cap. In the end I went to a parts place 1/4 mile away and bought a new cap for $16. I expect a little mark up, but that was ridiculous. So while the work done was OK, Iβm willing to pay a little more at another place that is better managed and more efficient. We have taken our cars to Monroe for years and until a few years ago were very satisfied. Now the personnel seems to have changed every time I go in and I donβt sense the competence that I did before. Thatβs too bad.

I do not recommend going there for your tire service. I brought 4 new tire from GoodYear to ne install by this shop. 1st 2 tires got delivered on Friday. According to GoodYear the shop supposed to call if if there is any conflict with the schedule and they have received the tires. For reference i place the other on Wednesday to have the tires installed on Monday. On Friday i called both the shop and GoodYear. Because i didn't receive a call to confirm my schedule appointment. The shop said they received my order and that the tire should be there on Monday and i should be all set. GoodYear also stated i should be all set for Monday and that they got in touch with the warehouse and the tires should be there. I called the shop again on Sunday just to sure the tires was there. They told me there was no tires and that they will be there on Monday. Monday comes buy nothing, Tuesday nothing, Wednesday nothing. I called GoodYear and that was when they told me that the 1st set was delivered on Friday and the 2nd set was delivered on Monday. I told them that the shop said they didn't have the tires. So GoodYear calle the shop and they confirmed they have all 4 tires. So i called the shop and they again confirmed that the tires are there and i can come in on Thursday and they will install them. I was okay with it no issues what so ever. Thursday i showed up 30 minutes before my appointment. First the customer rep couldn't find my name on the system once i mentioned GoodYear he was like "oh yha, hold on". When he come back he told me they can't do it today if i could do tomorrow. I called GoodYear and canceled the order. Never doing business with this shop.
