I've used Monro Auto several times with all of my vehicles. Jim got me in the next morning after coming in in the afternoon. I never have to wait for service. The work is always done correctly and the price is fair for his work.

I went to get my blower looked at. I was told that it needed to be replaced. I presented my warranty, and was told that they didn't accept it. I then took my truck to another shop and they did diagnostic on it. It wasn't the blower that was the problem. It was an electrical issue. Monro wanted to charge me 500 plus dollars for a blower and it wasn't the issue. I'm very disappointed with the misdiagnose. If it wasn't for the fact that I had a warranty, I probably would have paid to get it replaced.

The front person I talked to was extremely pleasant and courteous. I want to say that 1st. The quote I was given to change out my wheel barring was astronomically ridiculous. The night before I got a quote from Midas for $480, I believe in getting a second opinion because I want to make sure I'm getting the same diagnosis dealing with my car. I took my car for a 2nd look, after waiting an hour I see the tech who was working on my car go into an office and it took him another 30mins to have my estimate ready. I was floored when he quoted me $1416.32. When Jim or James gave me this number I just looked at him and asked him to repeat it again. He tried to say "that's with me taking $200 off " WHAT!? This for one wheel? I told him before they took my car I just need a new barring I can do the rotor and brakes myself. I told that man to pack my car up and give me my keys. Right before I talked to him someone else was getting an oil change, with the make and model of his car I know he uses fully synthetic, they hit him over the head over $100! I just got mine done for less than $60 after tax. I'm sure others have had good experiences with this company but I didn't and I'm pretty sure they will never get my business. Side note I took my car back to Midas and got the job done WITH a rotor for $528. I also want to point out, their website doesn't service coupons just tires, nonsense. I also want to point out they said I needed a caliper because it was stuck, Midas confirmed it was fine.

What should have only taken 15 mins (that's what the guy said) took 2 days! Got a tire and they didn't even put air in it I had to go to a different place. No communication skills.

Edit: Monroe refunded me the labor charge for the starter. I am satisfied with the resolution. Had my Jeep’s starter replaced here a few months ago, very steep price imo… since then it has had constant issues not starting, the battery is also brand new. A few months later it wont start again and theres a prompt on the dash indicating, “starter protection mode activated” so I had to have it towed back to Monroe. They tell me its a computer issue and there’s “nothing they can do” so I have to pay to have it towed to Charlie’s Dodge in Maumee. Their technician tells me the bolt which connects the starter was loose and simply needed tightened… now Im out $250 for their diagnostic fee and $150 for the additional tow after paying nearly $700 to have my starter replaced. I am extremely unsatisfied with Monroe auto service. I’ve left messages on their costumer service line but haven’t been contacted back.

I had a flat tire on a Friday night, they were one of the few shops open in the evening to take my call, and they helped me get my tire replaced the next morning. Convenient location with upfront, honest pricing from the team. I appreciate their help!

I am so happy with the service I received here! I broke down hours from home and still hours from my final destination on a Saturday evening when everything is closing down, getting dark AND I was traveling alone..VERY unnerving!! The mechanics were able to get my vehicle in right away and found the problem. They found the part I needed and had my vehicle fixed by the time I arrived the next morning. A huge shout out to Dave who came in on his day off to be sure my car was fixed early in the day so I could get back on the road! What a huge blessing!! The young lady who was at the front desk was able to answer all my questions, was pleasant, and so helpful! AND, the other mechanic... I didn't get his name... actually drove me to the hotel as I was absolutely stranded! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your employees showed compassion and helped out of the goodness of their hearts ...none of them had to do any of that! My car is fixed with no more issues and I made it in time for my mom's surgery. There are good, hardworking, compassionate, knowledgeable people working at this shop and I highly recommend it!

Pulled up on a Sunday fretting about the car tires and how they felt, so I walk in needing some inspections and the lady at the counter was plentifully helpful and even had a tech on deck to inspect the car. A few minutes later I was shown some problem spots with the tires and was recommended to come back tomorrow morning which I did and gladly got it repaired and it does definitely drive smoother and better than it had before. So I do recommend coming to Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers.

My tire pressure was low for a couple of days regardless of pumping it at the gas station. I called this location and they said they could get me in, in a few minutes. The diagnosis and repair took about 30 minutes and the cost was affordable. The tech was quick to do his job and very respectful. Highly recommend them!

So I made the mistake of going to Take 5 for an oil change. Not only did it take 70 minutes to get done. As we grew frustrated with 6 cars in the next bay in and out no problem. After I drove my truck for a few days, it started to over heat and blowing cold air from the vents. Take 5 put the wrong coolant in my truck! I called and talked to Jim the shop manager at Monro. He was professional and pleasant as always in the past. He was able to get me in right away for a flush and fill of my cooling system. Back on the road, reading good temps and with heat. I highly recommend Jim and his crew for resolving this quickly and smoothly. Kudos to Jim and his crew!

On december 26, 2026, i noticed my driver side windshield wiper was starting to fall apart, so I googled service stations and garages to locate a place to buy and have a new wiper installed. And that is how I ended up monroe auto service. When I went inside , I explained that I needed my driver's side windshield wiper replaced. The young girl at the desk took my information and then proceeded to have someone bring my car around and into a bay. I didn't question this as it was raining outside. But I noted that changing a wiper is not a big job. After about twenty five minutes , my car was ready and I was presented with a bill for $76. As I looked over the invoice , I noted that they changed both wipers and I asked her why they did that when I only requested the driver's side. I was actually quite mad and ready to pay that bill just so I could get the hell out of there. The young girl said they could fix it and went back into the garage part of the building. When she came back , she had an invoice for 1 wiper blade change on the new bill was $36. I was happy that she fixed it, however, I wouldn't advise people go there because clearly they don't do the work you want. They do what they want so they make more money. In the end , I was happy with the new wiper , but I was not happy with the experience. I say avoid this place unless they are the only option. And check.\nYour invoice because you don't want to pay more money for services you didn't ask for.
