The guys did a great job aligning my ‘85 Alfa Romeo Spider. Not only did they get it done quickly, they also made a few observations and suggestions for other issues they noticed and I’ll be going back soon to have them fix a few exhaust issues. Nice, friendly team.

My first visit I schedule an appointment, my car was at the shop for about six hours. I called for an update on the vehicle and the assistant manager had informed me that he did not know how to work the computer system and was very shortstaffed and could not get to my vehicle. I made another appointment for a few days later and was told for my tires to be installed in an alignment. It would be about two hours. My vehicle was not done until almost 6 hours later. They had used my key lock which was brand new at the time of giving it to them. They had broken the key lock and that require them to break the other three wheel lock lugs off. I was then told by the general manager, they might have to charge me more because it was a little bit more work. After picking up my vehicle my rims were completely ruined, mind you they were not perfectly clean going in there but they were unrecognizable coming out. My car was making grinding noise that it was not making upon entering the shop. I am now out $65 for a new set of wheel locks, my rims destroyed, two whole days of work missed waiting for them to put on 4 tires and an alignment. I will NOT be coming back nor recommending them to anyone. I never leave reviews by the way..

Came in at 5 to get a tire replaced and they close at 6 and the lady refused to help me out , said they where busy when there was just one guy there … wasted gas and time on a spare tire driving there… I then drove to the other tire spot across the street which also said open till 6 and guess what it was closed and even worse the lady told me they’re owned by the same person lmao talk about monopolizing … One change your closing time to 4 if you cant handle business at 5pm thats just greedy to waste a persons time driving there. Same with the other location. Pictures at 5:20 showing their “busy” line. If she wanted to go home early she coulda just said so.

My final answer is I don’t recommend them. It’s took them 3 weeks to figure out what was the issue on why my car was vibrating and they had lifted the car up several times and did test drives to find out what the issue was. Then they called the district manager asking for advice a call on the issue, only to look one last time on the lift after they took out the under carriage cover to see that the issue was an axle. The Manager told me to get the piece myself to save money (and I did) and to come back and the labor would be discounted after all the troubles. Only to come back last week and being denied by one of the workers that the price of labor to replace the axle could not be done and whatever convo I had with the manager was that. I requested follow ups to see if the manager would do it but none. Lack of communication. I questioned why the issue wasn’t discovered in the first place by doing a thorough check and the lack of convicted answers of what the issue is after hours of waiting and waste of my money being spent on services that didn’t need to be addressed right away really dimmer my pov on them. Not worth the time or money to go there.

My review disappeared, so I'll be reposting it. I got 4 new tires here. The next day my back right tire went flat. I took it back to tire warehouse. They told me they hadn't tightened the valve and it should be fixed. The next day my tire blew up on the 495 during a snowstorm. I changed my tire and claimed factory defect. The tire pressure light is still on. I got ripped off by Monro tire up the street a few years ago and found out they have the same parent company. I would not recommend any business associated with these people.

Horrible scam. Went here because it was convenient and close to home to have my oil pan looked at. Mechanic told me that the whole pan needed to be replaced due to leaking around the valve. Was quoted for $236 for parts, when a steel oil pan online costs $60. Went home to look at it before making any decisions. Removed the sealant around the valve, tightened the valve properly and the issue was fixed. Additionally, due to this negligence on the part of the mechanic, oil had sprayed everywhere in the undercarriage and was not cleaned or taken care of. Due to excess dripping oil, car began smoking from exhaust. A new oil pan was not needed, plus they simply could not bother to tighten the valve after noticing it was not on correctly. Was quoted for additional repairs and after consulting an independent mechanic, realized that Monroe's quotes for these items were far too expensive, let alone that I no longer trusted them to do any kind of repair with integrity. I DO NOT recommend taking your car here. Predatory business practices and major lack of integrity in repairs.

5 Stars – Outstanding Service from George and Leo! These guys were the only 2 in the shop on a Saturday, and they got it done! I had a fantastic experience at Monro Muffler / Brake and Service thanks to George and Leo! From the moment I walked in, they were professional, honest, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my vehicle was safe and ready to go. George’s customer service is top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and truly caring. Kind and amazing mechanics. Had a nail in my tire that wouldn't make it over night. After calling 4 different tire shops, all were unavailable due to being booked. However, at Monroe they told me to drive down with no hesitation. They took off my tire, installed my donut. Took the time to search different warehouses to find my specific brand tire, as I requested exactly what I wanted. Made them stay a little past their closing time, but they did it all with smiles on their face. Outstanding customer service, overall a first experience for me, never had to drive with a donut but they definitely made me feel safe leaving their lot with it. Bonus - less than 48 hours my new tire arrived to their shop. And they installed it within 30min.

Scammers! AVOID! Suspicious vibes all around. After I left Monro auto services and tire in Lowell, MA to get a battery replaced elsewhere, my car tire light went on. Supposedly they had put air in my tires which I asked them too, along with an oil change. If anything else goes wrong with my car I will update. The energy feels really off, dishonest and unprofessional. Thank god I didn’t get anything else done there like brakes or the battery which they didn’t have and were supposed to according to their inventory…hmmm…. I do not recommend anyone to go there even in a desperate situation! Please don’t go there or even consider the thought. When I arrived all the young guys n older ones started laughing with each other. You can tell when someone’s talking bout you… It was weird and very unprofessional. Customer service nonexistent. Maybe other Monro tire places are ok but this one in Lowell, MA needs to either change ownership etc or be closed down permanently. If a business place you’ve been to only twice (the first time a couple years ago) can make you regret right away of bringing your car in to them then that says everything about who they are and what they represent which is Nothing. I was dumb. Them being open till 7 pm while better places usually close at 5 is not a perk. Avoid at all costs. AVOID!!!!

Excellent service for a difficult repair. I had a broken flex joint. The new part was not made specifically for my car, and my exhaust system was missing one of the four catalytic converters. So the crew had to spot weld then adjust it then fully weld it. They were able to fit it perfectly with the new converter. Very good work.

I've trusted my Car to their care twice and both times were absolutely Stellar. Their Mechanics are Exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. Atleast that was my experience. I won't presume to speak for others in that regard. They're HEAVILY veteran Friendly. Treat them right, they'll do the same for you.
