Perhaps one of the worst auto repair experiences I’ve had in a long time. Took the vehicle in for an intermittent roaring noise from one of the wheels. I was told the brakes and wheel bearings were fine, but it could be issues with cupped tires. Nearly $400 later and two new tires, I took the vehicle and drove it for a couple of days and the problem reoccurred. I took the vehicle back in on a Friday morning, and besides the very rude attitude of the service manager, I was told that an inner brake pad on a rear wheel was worn, and now I needed new rear brakes, because the service technician didn’t check the inside pads on my original visit, only the outside pads. I was quoted nearly another $400 for a brake job and brake system flush, which I declined. I left the shop and had the car repaired elsewhere. The problem ended up being a faulty brake caliper bracket, which was binding and causing the inside pads to wear prematurely, and also causing the noise.I returned to the shop today with the repair receipt (from the Shop that correctly diagnosed and fix the problem within a couple of hours at a cost of another $350), to discuss the matter with the service manager and request a partial refund. After arguing with me over why I needed two new tires, and never admitting that the service technician made a mistake, I was asked what did I want Mr Tire to do. I requested a 50% refund on the tires, and ask if that was fair the service manager responded that no it’s not fair, but he would check with his boss and then continue to argue with me again about the tires. I still have not heard from the store after several hours. This shop is just not customer focused; I think I’m more upset about the argumentative attitude from the service manager, and the fact that he argued with me, the customer, rather than address the faulty, original mis-diagnosis. This type of repair service is often called “Easter egging,”where a shop just throws parts at the problem, without properly taking the time to diagnose and ensure that an actual repair is needed.. I would’ve expected that the service manager would have admitted that his technician failed to diagnose the problem properly, and in good faith, and with the intention of keeping my business, would’ve done the right thing and offered a refund, not argue over if a refund was even fair or not. Sadly, it’s just not “a great day at Mr. Tire”….. My future auto repair business will go elsewhere.

Experienced a delay due to Inspector arriving late. Once arrived completed quickly. George was apologetic and very sympathetic. However, I made my appointment for 8 AM (first available for the day) due to my schedule.

I can not thank Mr.Tire (Fredericksburg) enough for extending themselves way past the point of excellent customer care. Not just service...CARE! We were stuck in the area with a blown inside dually. It's a Saturday...3pm and EVERYONE in the area made some kind of excuse not to help us. And we are nowhere near home! When we called Mr.Tire & explained our situation, it sounded promising... at least we got someone to say "we'll take a look & see if we can help". Not only did they help, but they worked on a vehicle that was out of the norm, making provisions & adjustments to help us get back on the road. I can not say enough about the ppl we met & the tire techs that had the know how & the gumption to get the job done. Thank You Mr.Tire for getting us home!! It's ppl like you that restore our faith in humanity. ✌🏽

I called in to get a state inspection, and oil change done. While the beginning of my experience was rough with a call center, I was reassured by the service manager how the process would work and he’d take care of my needs. The service was fast, and quality. I was even offered water while I waited, top quality experience all around. Thanks again to the crew at this location! Will be returning for future needs

I purchased brand new "GoodYear" tires with this location in February 2024. Within two months of this purchase, I experienced two flat tires in which both times I had to pay $87 and some change. Addtionally, within a year, two of the tires became bald, indicating premature wear. Tragically, this month, the bald tires contributed to a car accident, resulting in damages of my vehicle and loss of time from work. This incident has caused significant distress and has raised serious concerns about the quality of the tires and the services provided from this location. I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the service center and cooperate office. To this day, no adequate response has been addressed to resolve my concerns. I'm glad to live to be able to tell my story and advocate for others!!! I will be filing with the Better Business Bureau and possibly following up with a law suit with this organization. PLEASE NOTE: I DID MY RESEARCH.....MR. TIRE IS NOT ACCREDITED BY THE BBB AT SERVERAL LOCATIONS, INCLUDING FREDERICKSBURG, VA. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

This location is amazing. George Lewis and steve provide excellent customer service and quality service. There has not been an issue I've brought to them that they haven't been able to fix. 10/10 recommended.

Great service! Very friendly and hospitable. Took care of a bunch of miscellaneous things in addition to my oil change, and didn't charge me extravagantly for it. Would definitely go back.

I found the staff very friendly and most importantly honest for my particular situation dealing with a old tire and rim. They where able to resolve the slow leak, but recommended only using the tire as a spare, which was it current use. I think the price was spot on for the amount of work they had to do on the rim.

We bought a used camper. We did not see that all the tires were very dry rotted! As we were traveling to the beach we got 2 tires that shredded. We tried all the Walmarts in the area. One said they had one in stock. They did not. Thankfully we saw Mr. Tire as we were driving to the Walmart. They had 4 tires our size! They were Very polite and professional staff. Fantastic prices. Quick to put tire on rim. If not for them, we would not have had a vacation! I recommend them. 5 stars.

Do not go here! If 0 stars was a rating that’s what they deserve. I brought my car here for tires. What I was quoted online is not what they put on my car and they charged me more than the quote. I showed up for my appointment I made two days in advance, they told me they didn’t have someone to do alignments and I should come back another time. Okay fine…. The car drove fine I had previously done an alignment elsewhere, but when I booked the appointment I added that service just in case. When I came back they said the alignment was needed. I took their advice, sure do the alignment. They added a warranty for the tires, I thought this made sense so I purchased it. Leaving their parking lot, I saw my tire sensors were not working, I immediately went back they said it was normal it would come on with time. It did come on about 2 miles away and registered the back tire was low. Called they said come back tomorrow. I did and there was a bolt in my tire. Pretty sure it came from their parking lot. But okay fine, I bought the warranty so I got them to plug it. The car shook extremely bad after they worked on it. I brought it back, they blamed the weights for balancing. And balanced again. I left, still shaking, my car drove fine when I brought it to them. I take it back again they said I have more issues with my car… strange there were none before bringing it here I just wanted better tires. I left took it to NBT across the street. They took me in were kind and most of all professional. Checked my alignment it was out, okay pay them to do it. Then they bring me to the shop and show me there isn’t a single balancing weight on any of my tires except the one that had the plug in it. So they balanced my tires and my car was fine. Fast forward to today I got a nail in my tire on the road. I think well I can make it to Mr. Tire and I have a warranty. I go in say hi I have a warranty and I have a nail in my tire. Could you plug it? I’m immediately met with unprofessionalism and attitude stating “ha not tonight” I said I’ll pay for the plug I just need it plugged so I can get home before it loses all the air. “Yeah I’m not tonight sorry, but I can look at it” I don’t see much point in you looking at it if you won’t fix it. I also think it’s bullshit that you guys won’t honor your warranty and you’ve completely taken advantage me.” The man stepped at me in a threatening like manner, I said, “Are you stepping at me?” “You’re cursing” he stated, I said I think you need to grow up I said “bullshit”, it was only he and I in the store. He then threatened to call the police on me. I said “I’m a customer, I have a problem and you are being rude and aggressive. All I’ve done is ask for help and tell you I think it’s bullshit you don’t honor your warranty or take care of your customers.” I didn’t “curse at him” So I asked for his name and managers name which he would not give me. I then drove to Firestone who said absolutely come in we can fix it no problem. They were kind and respectful. Do not go here they are awful and unprofessional. This man wanted to fight me because I showed frustration with his lack of service. Terrible staff and service.

George and all his associates were honest, Didn’t try to sell me tires I didn’t need. When I paid I left my credit card purse on the counter. The associate called me to let me know. I will definitely go back to get other things done at this store.

Really great experience. Lewis was on the phone with me and offered to check and see why I was losing air quick after just putting air in it, especially since there was no nail or anything in the tire. The gentleman in the back who took in my car was very great. Showed me what was wrong, what he was doing to fix it, and so on. Last minute issue, but they were nothing but awesome and understood my situation and was willing to help.

The associate we worked with was named Lewis! He was extremely helpful and patient with all of my questions. He made sure I knew exactly what tires I needed and what was most affordable, but still durable. He did not try to up sell me and drain me for as much as he could like some places. He offered additional services example: oil change, but a simple no thanks and he respected that. They took about an hr to put all 4 new tires on my current wheels I had and the car drives like a totally different vehicle!

Visited Wednesday, December 17, 2025: Tire started losing air on I95. Mr. Tire was the closest shop off of the nearest exit. Was almost 6:00 PM and they close at 7:00 PM. Didn’t catch anyone’s name, but both the tech and the guy working the front desk were super friendly. After squeezing me in and taking a look at my tire, they came and got me to show me that my tire was not repairable. They didn’t have my tire size in stock… bummer, but they offered to order the tire and have it installed by the next day. Unfortunately, I needed to get home and didn’t have time to come back the next day as it was out of my way. They offered to put my spare on for me to get me home. Expected them to charge me at least for their time and they wouldn’t accept it. The tech and especially the guy working the front desk seemed to truly care and wanted the best for me. I will definitely keep their generosity in mind the next time I’m in need of new tires or any other work. Mr. Tire staff, if you read this, sorry for the messy trunk blocking my spare in! Haha

Tire pressure light was on. Went to a service station and put air in the tire. Tire pressure light stayed on. Mr Tire had me come in, no wait, and within a few minutes, one of the mechanics found a bolt in a place on the tread where a patch could be safely installed. The whole experience was quick and inexpensive ($47). Everyone was super courteous.

I had a great experience with Lewis at the Mr. Tire Auto Service shop. Even though they didn’t end up performing maintenance on my car, Lewis still took the time to help me understand why my A/C wasn’t working and explained everything clearly. Since I was from out of town and driving a rental, he even went the extra mile to call Enterprise to see if I could have the vehicle traded in due to the issue. I really appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help even though there was no service being done. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely wants to help just to make sure you’re taken care of. Thank you, Lewis, for going above and beyond!
