this place is so unprofessional, I was traveling from charlotte NC and my tire pressure started going down on my car, I went to the near by tire place which pulled up this place, my tire pressure was on 2 percent. They told me it was nothing they could do for me because they close at 6pm which it was 3:45 and I asked if they could at least put air in my tire to get me to the next location and they couldn’t even do that! I felt so helpless. This place definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. They directed me to the tire place next door which they helped me out a lot! The guy was nice about it but it wouldn’t been better if I could’ve got at least some air in my tire.

I purchased a synthetic blend oil change from Groupon for Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers. After the oil change was completed I was told that I owe $21 & change. At this point I was not shown an invoice. I was told that it’s for taxes & shop supply fees & it states it on Groupon. I looked on Groupon & the only additional fee stated on Groupon is $5 oil disposal fee & additional oil if needed & upgrades. I didn’t not get any upgrades. I wasn’t happy about the extra $21 fees when I expected my Groupon to cover the oil change & everything included (except the $5 disposal fee) but I reluctantly paid it. When I got in my car I looked over the invoice I was given AFTER I paid. It included a $3.99 fee for “topping off fluids” TWICE. So there is where $7.98 + tax came from. I went back in & was initially told that it shouldn’t be on there twice & they would remove 1 fee. I was also told that it’s a part of every service. My reply was “if it’s included in every service then it should be included in the price”. The guy said that’s not how it works. Now I asked what fluids they topped off & how much was put in (I had put a gallon of windshield fluid in a few day prior). The guy went to the shop to ask the technician. He came back in & stated that the technician only checked the engine air filter & cabin air filter. SO, not only did they NOT top any fluids off, they didn’t even check the fluids. But I was charged twice for the service of topping fluids off that I did not ask for or approve as an additional service. I was refunded the $7.98+ tax but never should have been charged for those fees. I wonder if they actually changed my oil?? IF you choose to do business here I suggest that you ask up front what the total cost will be & what is the breakdown of all fees. Then make sure it gets done. One last disappointment, the oil change & tire rotation took 1.5hrs even though I had an appointment.

Everyone who worked there was very respectful and helped me out a ton. They’re very trustworthy and won’t lie to you about needing things when they aren’t actually needed. For example: I only needed 3 tires because my 2 rear tires were low on tread and I had a nail in one of my front tires but the other one had good tread life left and the man that checked with me also said that it was good! Something super small but big for me as I’m into cars and know what I’m working with when needed!!
