I have been to muse bar in Marlborough several times. Twice very recently. I really enjoy the ambiance here. The artists are friendly and funny and helpful when questions are asked. I have enjoyed the music playlists as well!

I Visted Muse Paintbar on a Sunday afternoon with my family. We painted a rather colorful elephant and the experience was enjoyable other than the fact that the instructor rushed through the whole process and was more interested in painting his own elephant than guiding the class on how to properly paint.
Despite that, I still enjoyed my experience but knocked off one star due to the instructor. I still recommend visiting this location especially as that particular instructor informed he was leaving the location after the class so hopefully you won't have the same experience this class and I did.
Masks are required at all times while in the studio. They have a moderate selection of drinks for those interested in drinking while painting.

Went with a group of 5. Loved the concept! Serving food and drink gives it a more social atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful, my only "complaint" was the acoustics. Where our table was, I couldn't hear the artist/leader. That was frustrating, ended up painting my own picture. All good though, was fun!

This was a fun experience that would be suitable for families, dates, friends, or even by yourself if you felt called to learn to paint in a fun atmosphere.
They offer some light foods and alcoholic drinks here while the teacher instructs the groups step by step on how to mix colors, and put brush to canvas.
You can, of course, free style and do whatever you want. I ended up leaving feeling pretty good about the work I did,
Others were enjoying the art and their drinks but not getting too crazy with it which still leaves room for families with kids.
Recommend for anyone looking for a sweet date idea, families, friends, or just aspiring artist.

I went with my family after seeing a friend post about this place on Instagram :) soo fun and I can see myself going at least once a month! It was very cool seeing everyone tap into their creative abilities!
Only critique is that their food needs a lot of work lol but we didn’t go for the food anyways so *shrugs*

The place was set up so nice. The ambience was calming and fun. My group was so lit. Kind of felt like the other people were so quiet compared to us. Lol. But anyways try the flatbread pizza the curly fries. Also the bottle of liquor is cheaper for a group. I had such a good time. My moon is black!!! It’s a eclipse!!

Wow! We did a work get together at Muse last night and it was paint your pet night! We had an amazing time! Love the set up, the music the food and the staff were amazing! I have to say it made painting seem easy! I love the outcome of my picture and so did the rest of my co workers! We will definitely be back!

Muse Paintbar is great! The price of the class is 100% worth it. I have been 3 times now, and while each instructor has their own unique way of teaching the paintings, they are all very knowledgeable, kind, and extremely helpful especially if you are someone like me who doesn't know the first thing about painting! If I do have to recommend an instructor, I recommend Ari. She was my most recent teacher for a couples painting and it's my favourite painting I've done at muse so far. She is great at giving serious painting advice and not just saying the painting looks great when there are actually things that could be better.
The only reason Muse is getting 4 stars from me instead of 5 is that it is very expensive if you want drinks or food. Their cocktails are good, but it is 12 dollars for a very small cup of wine, syrup, and too much ice. $17 for 3 very tiny chicken skewers with cold sauce is a bit much. Muse is worth it for the teachers! Can't wait to go back soon!

I was very disappointed with my experience. The location appeared to be severely understaffed, which resulted in rushed service. Our food and drinks didn’t arrive until near the end of the visit, and by then the kitchen was closing, so we didn’t have the opportunity to order anything else.
I waited about 40 minutes for my drinks and when I asked a staff member, I was told there were around 100 guests and only one cook. The instructor also repeatedly mentioned they were understaffed and having a bad day. While I understand tough days happen, the stress and emotions from staff negatively impacted the overall experience.

I love coming here to paint! I always have a great experience. The food and drinks are all really good and complement painting well. I’m pretty regular at the Marlborough location and Tay is my favorite teacher but all the teachers are really great and know what they’re doing. There is always help if you need it and I’ve done a lot of nice paintings as a result!
