I had called all the other top name auto parts stores looking for a specific part and been told it did not exist by each one. The top name auto parts stores tried to sell me other parts that I didn't want as well. When I called NAPA the associate knew exactly what I needed and the Kingsport TN store had it in stock! Problem solved with professional and courteous service. Thank you NAPA!

I have been in the automotive repair business for over 40 years so far, and the last 20 years in the Kingsport area. That being said I’ve been in a lot of parts stores and experienced good and bad service. I appreciate the professional service I receive every time I enter my Kingsport Old School Auto Parts store A REFLECTION On THE STORE MANAGER. On very rare occasions a needed part is not in stock but the staff goes above and beyond to get the part in need quickly. Store is always neat and clean , shelves stocked , competitive prices and great professional service. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else and when someone asks me where to get parts , it’s always Kingsport Old School.

I went over there to save a little money with the understanding that they would help me put a new battery in my truck.. Lol that place is the dumps.. The guy said they were no longer aloud to help their customers do such a thing... Their insurance doesn't allow them to.. I think that as a auto parts store they should take it upon themselves to help customers when needed... Now I have to drive back over there and return a battery so I can get my money back that they had to charge me because they are to damn sorry to help.. I will never go back over there they are nothing but jokes over there, O'Reilly and advanced auto would bend over backwards to help someone especially if they saw a car load of kids and if told that customer needed assistance, napa cared less if we would have had to walk home or got stranded... Sorry company... I hope y'all never need the help,, cause I guess it would go against your policy to help yourself

No one to wait on me plus very weak in knowledge to make a hydraulic hose. Whoever owns business needs to make some changes very quickly. Nice people that were there, just no one with a lot of knowledge.

We have gas powered golf carts here at the KOA. The carry parts in stock for them. Something you can’t get most places. Has saved us money from having to send them for repair which is very expensive plus the loss of time. They are in use daily for our maintenance department and are necessary for our business. Thank you very much.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I went there to support Napa, as I own a Napa store myself in another state. My equipment that I was using had a mechanical failure, so to Napa I go. I had two out of the three part number I needed. The gentleman that was working the counter was not, let's say a knowledgeable counter person, the part I needed he said was not in the computer, I ask him to get a paper catalog and search that way, he looked at me dumb founded. I threw out some numbers that I could recall, but they were not accurate for the part I needed. I asked him if he could go to the shelve and pull a few to see if we could get a match. I informed him that I own a Napa store. He responded to me that he was not wasting his time doing that!!! I didn't know what to say, I myself and my employees at my store always try to help the customer out over and beyond. I purchased what I had and left, as I drove away I was very upset that I was treated this way, a Napa store owner. I decided to go back and return the items, a woman working the counter apologized for his actions. She felt embarrassed by how he treated me as she elaborated. I will be making contact with GPC explaining to them how a fellow Napa owner was treated by another store. I come to Kingsport quite often, I will never patronize this store again, I will travel to another location to get my Napa parts.

I came today 05/26/24 and you were all closed. You need to update your website hours and not just post a piece of paper at your entrance door! Nowadays people don’t pick up their store phones either or they are ringing with the busy tone. Update your website! I needed replacement parts for my semi to get going down the road.

Absolutely horrendous customer service, counter people are rude and off putting. Very poor representation of Napa Auto Parts. Parts pricing, quality, and availability only can go so far. Definitely do not recommend doing business at this location.
