Being new to Allen I was looking for someone to service my wife’s vehicle since I have a company vehicle and I travel a lot so I wanted to be somebody we could trust. With that said when I took my BMW in for service with a problem they fixed it that day and was very quick to do it.What you really want to have when someone works on your vehicle is a person that is very honest and straightforward and this outfit is believe me!They will receive any and all business from me and also I will spread the word to my friends.

Was having low mpg on my car....like half is value. I went in there with new oxygen sensors (even though i had no error codes) ready for instalation but Nash recommended i don't do that and instead use Heet to first clean my injector line. In 60 miles of driving and following his advice, i gained 25%efficiency...and that too at 70+mph. Returned the sensors, went back and thanked him for his advice. Will come back for future service. I just love the fact that he didn't go ahead with unnecessary service, even when i wad ready. THANK YOU!!!!

Something I really appreciate about these guys, besides the quality and timeliness of their work, is their willingness to NOT do the work when it's outside their areas of expertise. The fact that they've sent me to other great specialists when needed just makes me trust them more with my family's vehicles.

I am sitting outside this shop right now. Came in to get an oil change and drive shaft lubricated. The white dude with beard came to the office and said oil chagrin on a Friday nah you need to go to jiffy lub or something. I told him I came to the shop for my cars frequently. He said okay I don't care. I asked him to remain calm and no need to have an aggressive tone. He then proceeded to tell me to get out of the shop. I asked for his name and he yelled get out and went back to the workshop side. Wow! What a way to honor repeat customers!

Update 2 months later - still no word from the front desk manager owner guy. He was supposed to call Ford to order new parts and call us back (door lock actuators, other door stuff). 2 of the locks we had replaced don’t work……and the passenger front you door have to finagle to open (insert key, turn, pull handle, take out key) Same codes so I have to share my car with my fiancé. Would give zero stars if I could. Out $1K plus of my money with almost nothing to show. Also- asked for an oil change and don’t know if we actually got one. Almost 100% sure we didn’t. My fiancé took his truck here to get 3 separate things fixed - his A/C, 2 lean codes, and his door lock actuators. The truck was there almost 3 weeks before we got any updates on it and we had to call in to talk to them, they never called us (granted they did only have one tech working all shifts). When we finally picked it up after almost a month, we realized the diagnostic codes were not fixed, the passenger door almost doesn’t open anymore, and another door lock doesn’t work. However, we paid for all of these items in full. The A/C was the only thing that was fully fixed. When calling back in the owner said they will not charge us the diagnostic fee, but we will have to pay again for whatever else needs to be done to clear the same 2 diagnostic codes and also asked my fiancé what work he thought needed to be done. If you’re getting any major work done outside of an oil change or inspection, take your car elsewhere.

I've taken two different cars to Nash this year for service. The crew there was thorough and very personable. I liked how they took the time to explain various things to me about each vehicle. I'll definitely be going back!

This is by far! The worst Auto repair I have ever been. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS AUTO REPAIR. I went to change my strouts in this place, and when I picked up my car, they left the wheel bolts loose. I called them and told them my car was doing a noise in the wheel, and they said. "I think you have a problem with your axle" I took my car the next day and they said that I had some loose bolts. When I get into my car again and drive, my car start shaking when I get into the freeway. I get back the next day and explain the problem and they said that it is the axle and that they did not took out the axle when they changed my strouts (they lied) they did a very bad job and when they changed my strouts they broke my axle. The dealer advised that the strouts were changed but it was a poor job and it damaged my car. Feel free to ask for reports or pictures because I can show them any time.

I went to a Valvoline oil change by my home for convenience sake but found out how much "convenience" can cost you. I just noticed convenience starts with CON and that is what happened. I go to Valvoline oil change center on highway 380. While doing the oil change the technician SAS says that they found a transmission fluid leak and that this was serious. They suggested that I authorize them to do it right away. Not feeling comfortable I told them to finish the oil change . I went over to Allen Auto car on Nash (not the similar sounding one on Highway 75) Heath at Allen Auto said there were never any fluid or oil leaks down there. I have been going there for years and love the honesty. PS. They did not charge me to look at the car and they put it up on the lift and went all over it with flashlights etc . Last time I will ever go to Valvoline again.

My car had AC problem, so I took it to this place since its review was 4.4 out of 5. After the young kid inspected my car, he told me my compressor got locked up, and he told me $1170.00 for the whole repair. Well, I didn't have that money for this pricey repair, so I drove my car away. Yes, it was hot that day! I told my buddy about my car and he recommended me a mechanic. So this guy came to my house next day, and he told me my AC system had no problem, and the issue was just the AC control module. He replaced the Part and he charged me only $175.00! I gave him $200 cause I was so happy with his work. Enough being said, Mr. Nash, either you were not technically competitive or you just wanted to rip off a customer like me. I'll never go to your place for any services or recommend you to anyone. Good luck!

I can’t say enough good words about the service that I’ve received with my most recent visit to Nash Automotive. At the most inopportune time, my daughters car needed immediate repairs. After going back and forth with my warranty company and another repair shop that wanted to charge me 3 times what I paid, I am happy to say the repairs were done in a timely and professional manner at Nash Automotive. The employees there worked with me for several days explaining cost and necessary vs unnecessary repairs. They saved me a lot of money and even did some minor work at no charge when they discovered something after my quote. Thank you, Nash, for your patience with me, your quality repairs and your honest pricing. We will he return customers.

I recently chose Nash's for an engine swap on my 2005 f150. Not only did they assist me in finding a reliable engine within my price range, but also provided AMAZING customer service and transparency throughout the labor process. Tim sent me regular pictures throughout the installation and advised me on precautionary measures that would help extend the longevity of my investment. The used engine I purchased was meticulously detailed, along with the entire engine bay upon pickup. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of an honest, affordable mechanic in the Allen area.

Been Going to Nash's for probably 20 plus years and have always come away happy. they do honest work even though the management has changed over the years. The current owner is awesome I took my Mustang to them on Saturday and they finished putting in the alternator within a hour and did other work as well. I have and always will recommend people to go there. Very honest and they actually tell you what they are doing with no hidden cost. Thanks Nash's Automotive for keeping it old school and doing excellent work. Tony Perry

Five stars! I'm from out of town and these guys did a great job of fixing my truck. They did it in less than a day. They also gave me a ride which was really helpful. Really excellent work! Highly recommended.

It's a long story how I wound up at Nash's but the gist is, my car's electrical system shut down one day while I was out at appts. After help getting it from one place to another, then another, the battery was replaced and I was told the alternator also needed to be replaced. Luckily, after the battery swap, my car was running/the electrical system was working at that time but I was told by 2 companies to expect it to stop soon. Replacing my alternator was an expense that came out of the blue and while doable, it sucked. I called around to find a place that was well rated and could get it done quickly. I wound up finding Nash's and chatting with Michelle who was just helping out for a few days at the front desk. SHE WAS AMAZING!! We hit it off instantly and she brightened the crappy day I was having. She used to run her own shop and was knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. I brought my car in for a likely alternator change but they gracefully decided to do a quick diagnostic for me to be sure that was the issue... turns out I did not need a new alternator. My car has been running fine since! They saved me a good chunk of change and helped me de-stress. I appreciate them, and especially Michelle. Definitely will be back! ---------- Update: I came back in 2025 and these guys were still awesome to work with. I cant remember all of their names but I believe Tim is who I dealt with up front and Bess worked on my car. My a/c had stopped blowing cold and I called to see if they could get me in to take a look. They had me stop by same day and got my ac blowing cold in no time. They were friendly, knowledgeable, up front about costs, and very affordable. I'm glad I came back and plan to continue to use this shop again if I ever need additional repairs. Thank y'all for taking great care of your customers!

I always get my yearly car inspection done at Nash's Automotive, plus have had several brake replacement jobs and oil changes over the years. I would highly recommend them anyone looking for the best quality auto repair in the Allen Texas area; the owner is extremely knowledgeable and they know a lot about foreign and older / classic cars. Shop local and check them out!

I recently bought a 2015 Jeep Compass Sport, and already had to take it in to get all 4 of my spark plugs replaced. The guys here at Nash's were amazing and very informative with all of my questions. Tim you are the sweetest! Will definitely keep bringing my car here for anything I need to get done. I trust them. And they are reasonably priced and are worth it. Thank you guys so much. I have a mechanic for as long as I'm living in the Allen area. I wish I could do more than 5 stars. More like 100 stars

An Absolutely Amazing Experience with My 2005 Jaguar! Finding a shop willing to work on a 2005 Jaguar is a challenge in itself, and finding one that doesn't charge an arm and a leg? Nearly impossible! That's why I'm still pinching myself after the incredible experience I had with this team. From the moment I explained my situation with my Jag and mentioned I had my own spark plugs and coils, they didn't bat an eye. "No problem," they said, and they truly meant it. They handled the replacement with expertise and efficiency. Later, when an unexpected issue popped up, they didn't just tell me what was wrong; they took the time to explain it clearly, without any technical jargon, and most importantly, without super jacking up the price. Their transparency and fair pricing were a breath of fresh air. To the entire team, thank you! You've earned a customer for life. I will absolutely be recommending your shop to everyone I know, and it goes without saying, I'll definitely be back for all my future automotive needs!
