I had New Central replace two side mirrors on my Toyota van. They were simply wonderful to work with, were patient, and did not try to upsell any services. The cost was reasonable and they worked with my insurance company. Also, they clean the car inside and out before you pick it up! It was also really convenient for anyone in South Minneapolis. One of the best automobile repair businesses around. They do great body and mechanical repairs; help navigate insurance reimbursement and work with your agent to get things done. I have a salvage-title vehicle for my young son. He got t-boned, and needed a new passenger door. It was not an insurance claim, due to the low value of the vehicle. I just wanted a used junkyard door put on, to have functionality at the lowest cost. I didn't want to pay for a perfect repair, given the low vehicle value. Two other auto-body repair companies refused to help. New Central was happy to help. They found a good used door at a junkyard, in a matching color, and gave me an estimate of $1,299. Then to my utter amazement, the actual final invoice came in at $797 -- $502 LESS than the original estimate! These guys were fantastic in every way! Landed on New Central because I had seen some reddit reviews of the place from years ago and thought it would be a good choice. Brought in my 2013 wrx with some pretty major needs that I was paying out of pocket for. key mark on right side and rust on driver side. after week one we discovered some more rust that needed deeper repair, all good, had some awkward conversations with them about just not being able to do certain things and just not looking at the whole picture. with a budget of 15k$ we decided to not even focus on the passenger side and only fix the driver side. 15k$ and it still wouldn't be completely fixed. cute. then week two i reach out and they haven't even touched it. there was another car that they simply put in line before mine. Would have been nice to know, considering I was about to drop 15k$. ended up going to pick up my car and take it elsewhere as their apology feel flat. "we'll take 500$ off the total." "it's 15k$ that's kind of a drop in the bucket." Ended up going to Raymond in St. Paul instead and was immediately greeted by friendly front desk and helpful appraiser. 15k$ appraisal and we'll clean up the whole thing, both sides.

After my Toyota Tacoma was involved in a hit and run I was not a happy camper, and really did not want to deal with it all, but New Central Auto Body made the process seamless. The paint match is absolutely flawless, the passenger side bed panel and bumper had to be replaced, as well as the rear view mirror, and it looks like it just rolled off the factory floor. What stood out most was their communication—I received regular updates via text and never had to wonder about the status of my truck. They even even gave me some very practical advice about if I should have it repaired or get a new truck. To top it off, when I picked up my car, it had been fully detailed inside and out. It’s rare to find a shop that combines master-level craftsmanship with such high-tier customer service. Highly recommend!"

After a recent minor traffic accident, I took my car to New Central for repair. I've taken several of my cars there over the years and always received excellent service and top-notch repairs. So I had no hesitation to bring my car back to them for work. It had been several years since I'd needed their services, and I was pleased, though not surprised, that their commitment to quality was still there. Not only was the work excellent, but they were completely professional and easy to work with. I was particularly pleased with the speed with which the work was completed. I had mentioned that I would be leaving town soon and it would be nice if my car was finished by then. I fully expected to leave my car with them for the time I was gone, so I was very pleasantly surprised to learn that it was finished two days before my trip! They told me that they worked hard to get it done before I left. That's a level of service and dedication that is not often found these days. Should I need auto body work in the future, I will not need to look anywhere else. Highly recommended!
