Great business, fair prices, Long and his cohort were both kind and pleasant to work with in my stressful situation of having three flat tires! I would recommend this business to anyone.

So yesterday I went online watched some videos and figured out in 1 hour what was wrong with my car.. so how DIDNT this place figure it out? After spending a thousand in repairs.. and it was an obvious problem that should have been seen in the beginning.. I can’t believe this ONTOP of I had to pay another shop to put parts back together that this place left apart🤦♀️

We wouldn't take our cars anywhere else. You can't beat their prices, the work they do...and so fast...and their very friendly staff. Can't say enough wonderful things about them.

Straight forward, honest owner. Had my car towed here the other day because I knew the job would be done right. Same day repair. I'll never go anywhere else.

I have been getting my vehicles serviced at Lanhart Auto for several years now. Lan is a man of few words but a great mechanic. I highly recommend Lanhart Auto.

I have been going to Lanharts since I was 16 years, so over 20 years! They are great, I always feel they treat me well, don't over charge and are honest about what needs to be fixed vs. what doesn't!

I was in a jam with a misfiring cylinder and these guys stayed open a bit late so that I could get my car back that night. They squeezed me in right away and I'll be going back, especially after my usual place shut down permanently. Good experience, I would recommend them.

I chose this place because of the glowing reviews. Now, I'm starting to understand that some of these reviews may have been planted by the business. I had my vehicle serviced due to a stuck caliper. When I picked my car up, I was missing a hubcap. When I asked about it, the guy at the desk just kept saying that there was no hubcap to begin with. I can 100% guarantee that there were all 4 hubcaps. To not even get acknowledgement of a mistake and to be basically told that I'm delusional is inappropriate and unacceptable. The brakes are still awful. They were supposed to replace all of the brakes. Maybe they replaced 2 of them, but they screwed up when bleeding the lines. The brakes are mushier than ever, and the car barely stops. I paid $500 for new brakes and what I got was a missing hubcap and worse brakes than before. When I emailed them regarding my situation, I waited almost a week and still didn't get a response. This business shouldn't even exist. If you want to get screwed over by a place that has no accountability whatsoever, go ahead. Waste your money here. They offer a warranty on their work but based on their follow through (or lack of) I don't believe that that's any good. At the VERY LEAST, there needs to be a response to the customer when things go this wrong. They think they can just ignore it and I will go away. My funds are not limitless. I cannot afford to just forget about this. Also, after being screwed over by other mechanics, I'm done with letting these kinds of things go. Go anywhere else for your service needs. This place should be banned. UPDATE* After leaving multiple reviews, I got an email saying simply they did the work and that they're not responsible for lost or stolen items. Apparently, if they break/steal your parts, they are not responsible. Excellent business there. Avoid at all costs. Update 4.15.19* After going back and forth with the BBB, the owner finally said "well, we told Mr. Archer that it wasn't our fault, so it wasn't our fault." And wouldn't ya know it, the BBB left it at that! Here's a direct quote from one of the emails the owner of Lanharts sent me "Thank's For your not understanding, I Hope You Deserve for what you done and happy with a good feeling every night you go to bed. good luck." I do have a life. I'm keeping up with this because I'm passionate about businesses acting correctly, and this place clearly doesn't worry about any of that.

One of my go to mechanics because he is very fair and transparent on what exactly he's doing and how much it will cost.

I would give zero stars if I could. I brought my car in to have the struts replaced for $1,750. My car does not ride any differently than before I spent $1,750. Then the repair shop owner tells me," If the car pulls to the left or right you need to have the tires aligned." Well my car did not pull to the left or the right however my car tires are now ruined, cost to replace my one year old set of tires $650. What the owner neglected to tell me was that the car can appear to be properly aligned but the tires can be tilted towards the center of the car equally or to the outside of the car equally so the car feels aligned but really is not aligned and then the outside of the tread on your tires quickly and unevenly wears away therefore ruining the tires. So, I spent $1750 to ruin my tires and then have to spend another $650 to buy a new set of tires. Hands down this is the worst car repair experience I have ever had in my life. I basically spent $1,750 to ruin a very good set of tires that should have lasted me three more years. I tried to save $200 to $300 by using this shop based on reviews and this was a total waste of money, I absolutely regret going to this shop and I will never use an independent small shop ever again.

Long is a real expert who serves with integrity. My leaking radiator was replaced the same day I brought my truck in for service. I am thankful and impressed!

The owner is very honest and a hard working guy! He figures out the best cost-efficient way to get the job done! There has been multiple times he could've easily gotten over on me; if it's a quick fix and something you can do yourself, he'll inform you what to do! 👍👍

Excellent, excellent customer service! I was stranded on the side of the road, in MN by myself for work, & needed a tow. I read the reviews & chose Lanhart. They were SO helpful and accomodating. We're used to auto shops giving ridiculous estimates and paying huge upcharges for parts. They gave us excellent service & pricing. I went back to them when I had another issue & again they did an excellent job. As a woman, I was thankful for their honestly & kindness. They were fair & honest. I can't recommend them enough.

I can always depend on Long and his team to provide friendly, honest, high-quality, and fairly-priced help, but tonight I was particularly grateful. I stopped by because my old Toyota's hood wouldn't open. It was already nearly 6pm, but Long came out, helped me pop the hood, and taught me how to fix it myself next time. I live a couple of doors down, and Lanhart's aren't just good mechanics, they're good neighbors.

Excellent!! Highest possible recommendation! Went in for an oil change after a road trip and described a strange sound the car was making. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed my car on the same day. Anywhere else would have taken at least two. And their prices are very reasonable. This business is a unicorn. When you pick up your car, bring them a bottle of good wine.

The best mechanic around and great rates as well. I cannot convey enough Lanharts professionalism, honesty and respect. He will be a longterm family mechanic as long as he is around. 100% trust!! All of these bad reviews are people who have been disrespectful and expecting to much from the owner and Lanhart owner is very respectful and expects the same respect and if you are rude and try to take advantage you will be dismissed. So those people come here and give a bad review, but truth is….go meet the owner yourself, he is a great human being.

Great service - very fast, honest, and straightforward - diagnosed my problem, identified a related issue that might be hazardous in the near future & asked what I wanted to do, and performed the repair at slightly less than the quoted price. Highly recommended! (Do bring cash or a debit card, ideally; they don't accept tap-to-pay.)
