After calling many other towing companies in New Orleans who were rude, overpriced, and otherwise completely unprofessional, I had almost given up hope. Then I called New Orleans East Tires. The lady who answered the call was very courteous and professional. We set up an appointment for the next day. The tow truck driver was on time and extremely helpful, as the car being towed needed to be turned around first. The driver was also very professional and nice. I highly recommend New Orleans East Tires and I will not even consider using any other company in the future.

Prices listed on the merchandise were cheaper than the price when we got to the register. To much rushing you out if the store. Registar person adds prices to your bill that you do not have.

THEY ARE THIEVES! Never get your vehicle towed or worked on here, they will do and say whatever they like! My car was stolen and the police found it while i was out of town. The detective had assured me since i was unable to retrieve it and the car had been reported stolen i wouldn't be charged, but lo and behold i called them and they said it saw $300! PLUS you can only retrieve a vehicle until 4:30 unless you pay a special fee. Curious how that kicks in BEFORE their closing time, right before the tome of day when most people get off work. They also completely refused to allow me tp attempt to start the car or borrow their jumper cables to jump start it, instead suggesting i come in another day (which means more money for them) to ask the owner tp use them. They refused to let me speak to said owner, to show me a authorization by the police that theu were authorized to take it, to show evidence of where it was taken from, or to allow anyone to assist me in getting the car running unless i paid them extra money. Let that sink in. They dont have to prove they were given permission to take the car, and refuse to allow you to try and move it until you pay them, then if it doesn't run they can charge more! At best thats extortion, at worst downright theft! If NOPD ever says they're going to have you towed make sure to say you will not allow NO East Tires to move it because Ive learned first-hand this company is corrupt thieves that do as they please with no documentation or evidence required. Bottom line? Never let these guys anywhere near your car! I dont know how or why anyone would give these guys a positive review i can only assume its people they paid to give good reviews. (Update:) the after hours retrieval person takes anywhere from 45 min to an hour, i have another company enroute which will now be required to themselves wait! The employees left as i waited there and said they could do nothing THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN! NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Wow. I pulled in to ask a question about brake tag. The guy tells me that I passed up his big red & white sign that says turn right @ the corner for brake tag, I said yes I saw it. I wanted to ask you a question, he continued to tell me about the sign, I said sir I can read. He walked off. I still went around to get a brake tag, however no one came. Wow! I wish I could not even give him a star period. That's ridiculous & yes I was very upset, like why? Smh.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for braketag. They removed my old brake tag first and asked me to pay before they started doing anything else. And they said my car is not qualified to get a new one, which I didn’t change anything to my car since day 1 and still got to renew my pevious brake tags. That also means I cannot leave them and go to another place because they already removed my old brake tag. They all do this all purpose. Moreover, I went there twice and the man both didn’t give me my change back. I feel I was scammed. Many customers are mistreated in the same manner. They are unprofessional and just straight rude.

Would not give me the brake tag since Banner Chevy told me to get get tag first and bring it back to them and they would put tag on. I tried to borrow a screw driver so I could pull off lot and put it down. He said he couldn't do that either. Instead I had to return to Banner to let them put it on first, then go back. So inconvenient.

This is a great place to secure a break tag! The staff are VERY friendly and professional and the line moves steadily. If for any reason the line is NOT moving it is because a customer has arrived UNPREPARED. So PLEASE have ALL of your items ready; drivers license, insurance, inspection form, money(tags are $25, $50 for a two year tag if your car is 10yrs old or less, and there is an additional $2 fee for every month that a tag has been expired). AND! If you have a crack in your windshield, or a light on your vehicle that is not operable, PLEASE have that resolved before you arrive because THOSE SITUATIONS HOLD UP THE LINE.

I always get my brake tags here. FYI don't bring any bills larger than a 20. I have been going here for years. I just want to say, today I went in for brake tags on my motorcycle. Right after getting them my bike stopped! (Thankfully on their premise) They were very kind to me in the 5 hrs. I was there waiting for roadside service to make getting home happen. These are just really great people from a customer point of view. I'll wager a dollar they are good all the way in to where it counts!
