May I say I am a firm believer in reviews if they are accurate and truthful. Because it will help the consumer and the business owner who counts on them. So I was able to drive right up after I called and spoke with, I'm assuming the owner. Really nice guy. He was very cool I used the discount he offered and I really appreciated him for that and because he asked me to write a review. I agreed. The only issue I have and this should be corrected tonight... is one of his employees. An older fellow kind of slow,( in movement) either took a bath last week and is officially seeing how long he can go or he smokes at lease 5 cigars in 1 hour. When I got into my vehicle after he moved it just 50ft. was so off putting and sweaty musty cigar odor nastiness... I almost gagged. Body odor is real and can kill a date or a business from return customers if they don't get their arms around that. I'm sorry to the owner. I'm still giving 5 stars. I'd come back. It was fast, easy and convenient. Best of luck to you. If you ever need working capital for your business. Let me know.-Tony

I don’t understand the negative reviews. Perhaps it’s because they didn’t pass smog. Lol. This place does not look like much, but its Star Certified, the price is great! The owner, Sanhi, is AMAZING. Smogged my car in less than 10 minutes and I was done. No appointment. Don’t judge this place by the looks. Ask for Sanhi, and he will take care of you and your car.

UPDATE :- Went again this SUNDAY and they were open , What a great team . Still BEST AND GREAT PRICE IN TOWN . These guys really are the best. I swear I barely sat down and they called me to let me know the car was done. They are so nice. I highly recommend them! BEST SMOG CHECK EVER .THIS WAS MY 3RD CAR .2 MORE TO GO NEXT MONTH . I called to ask how much it would cost and they said 45 When I looked on their website they have a coupon listing of $45 total When I went in for the smog check they tried to charge me $89 When I show them the coupon and told them I called earlier they said okay it'll be 55 Then they went to go "check" on my car And when they came back it somehow didn't pass and they also took away the free 30-day retest they had promised earlier. Total scam place either pay overpriced prices or they'll mess with your car fail you and remove your free 30 day retest. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Came in for a smog check with no appointment and went to counter with no waiting. Prior to arrival I pulled up a coupon for Newport &CM Smog. The attendant, who was difficult to understand wrote up the ticket with an amount and I said I had a coupon online for less. He informed me that was for last year and he could do it for $10 more than the coupon I had. Service was quick I was on my way with my passed smog cert in 10-15 mins

For the every 2 years dreaded smog check notice that comes with your annual car registration fee, I at least know there is a STAR compliance place I trust and actually treats customers respectfully and are NICE! I have brought my car here twice for the required smog check, along with their coupon on their website (by far the least expensive I have found), and am greeted warmly, and they are FAST! Phu (very friendly!) told me to plan for 30 minutes. I took a walk down to Dollar Tree (2 minute walk), back 15 minutes later, and they were done and car passed. No upsell for any other repairs. (Thank you!!!) Phu told me to wait a few days to pay my registration so they can get my passed certification sent to the DMV and off I went. Truly a most pleasant experience for a "necessary" something you have to do living in CA. Yes, highly recommend!

Great customer service. Great Price , Honest people , Fast Smog , Owner was very informative when I came to get my old pick up truck smoged. I was the first one there when he opened up for the day. He let me know that it was gonna take about 15 mins for the machine to warm up and get calibrated which I appreciated. While that was happening he was helping other customers that came in right after me getting them all squared away also. Not a min wasted with this guy!!!
