Steve was very kind and knowledgeable to me when I recently went to his shop to get my engine tuned up. I explained to him what trouble I was having with my new engine and he assured me that he had worked on many of them before. In no time at all he had the engine dialed in and gave me recommendations on carburetor settings and exhaust ideas. If your on the Westside or anywhere in Jacksonville - North Florida Automotive is a good choice for automotive services!

My girlfriend takes her car here for periodic maintenance. From what I've seen so far, they've taken good care of her and her vehicle. However, what happened today has changed my outlook on the business and the people that run it. My girlfriends brother knows some of the people that work here. Through some previous conversation, it came about that my girlfriend and I are an interracial couple. When she took her car in for a quick appointment, the technicians brought it up to her. They did not like that I am of a different color and even went as far as trying to convince her to rethink her choices in a partner, ultimately trying to dissuade her from continuing her relationship with me. Given the information that I received today, I think that we will take our business elsewhere. If these people are so unintelligent as to judge people by the color of their skin, then I wouldn't trust them to work on any vehicle of mine. Trust me when I say this, the things that they told her were not very civilized in the slightest. I could have sought out justice by other means, but this is the best route in my opinion. To those of you out there looking for a decent place to get your cars serviced, please look elsewhere. These people are racist. This is not the place for you. Thank you.

They were recommended by Todd's Transmission for repairs. I contacted them about transmission problems and said I had only 52,000 on it. They suggested I take it to the dealership for drivetrain warranty. They called the dealership and had them call me to make a repair appointment. . They went out of their way to help me to get the help I needed. They are great folks and I will be using them in the future. Have already told my family about these folks. Rare today to see folks with a strong work ethic and willing to help you.

Happened upon this shop while trying to drop off my husband’s Ford E350 Super Duty box truck at another shop nearby for a check engine light. We left it at 4pm on a Monday. Before they closed at 5 they had already called us to tell us what the problem was, how much it would cost to fix it and when we could expect the work to be done. Best service we have had on a vehicle literally ever. Their price was perfect too. Even the cost of the diagnostic was more than reasonable. Once the part came in for his truck the repair was quickly done. Perfect service. Excellent price. We will return again and again for every vehicle they will work on. Peace of mind that didn’t cost us an arm and a leg.
