Took my car in to them @ 7:30 AM on 12/27/2022. Timing belt problem. Called this morning, 8:00 AM on 1/30/2023, Kerry tells me it's ready @ 9:00AM. I get a call 2 mintues later, Kerry tells me "It will be ready @ 12:00 PM. That's the way it been. He also told me I have a radiator leak, That's a new one!, since I didn't have one when I took the car to them in December. Not sure if Kerry is the owner or just the service manager, that will be my first question to him. Excuse after excuse with this shop!

Vic is honest and reliable. If Something does not need to be done or can be done later he lets you know so you don’t spend additional funds. The last time I was overcharged and I did not realize it. He called me immediately and told me exactly how much how sorry he was and then I have two choices to get the money in full or keep it for another time. Now that’s honesty

These guys did a great job, I am from California and had a head gasket leak. Took the vehicle to them and they said that they can do it in the time frame I needed them to. The price was spot on what they said, plus have a NAPA auto care warranty which is nation wide. Thank you guys, definitely recommend them to anyone.

Vic is the most honest reliable trustworthy auto care owner ! I'm 66 and have been taken advantage of through the years by bad mechanics. When I first went to Northside automotive a year ago I felt i needed new brakes. And I would have pd for them. Vic comes back to lobby n tells me I didn't beed brakes. They we're just dirty n he blew them out. Since then he's the only place I'd take my car .Now thats honesty. !!!! He is awesome. !

They were very honest and professional. I am a female who does not know much about cars, but they explained everything they were going to do and made sure I was okay with the work/charges associated, and made sure I understood again before I paid. I called and first made an appointment for an oil change for my car, then it was checked for free because it was overheating every few months. I got my radiator and thermostat replaced, they also fixed a bent I had in the front of my car, and were able to fix my AC by replacing a fuse. The radiator has a lifetime warranty and the mechanics updated me throughout the day to make sure I was okay with the work and price. It was a bit pricey (I ended up paying $690 with tax included), but it was worth it for a job well done and honest customer service. They also have a safe and convenient way for you to drop off your car and keys if their hours do not work for you, you do have to pick up the car while they are open though. I would definitely recommend them.

This is your local-neighborhood auto repair shop that will take care of your car real well, at a good price. We have been taking our cars to them for several years now. They have fixed a wide range of vehicle issues for us, including problems that other shops could not fix. The service is always great, and they do not try to sell you something that you do not really need. They are pretty busy, so we usually set our visit up a few days in advance, well worth waiting for.

These guys were AWESOME! They called and informed me of what was wrong and let me know the price before going any further. I would 100% recommend North Side Auto Repair. These guys went above and beyond by helping me push my car when they didnt have to. The prices were great and the employees were very genuine and quick to fix the problem! If I have any more car trouble I will be going back to them for sure!

I had to find a new mechanic for my vehicles. I asked my facebook friends for recommendations. There were several that posted suggesting that I use Northside. I am so glad that I did. Vic was friendly and very helpful. I told him what I was told at a local dealership and he said that his techs would verify what I was told and we would go from there. He did verify that two things were needed and two that were not. He saved me quite a bit of money and made me feel at ease with what needed to be done. They were prompt and finished the job when they said they would. Northside Auto has earned my business and will recommend them to anyone.

My mother's Nissan Rogue broke down and needed a serpentile belt. My husband and I basically pushed this car into Northside Auto. Kerry not only helped us with the repair, he also squeezed us into his busy schedule. The repair was at a very good price. Smelled burning after taking truck in for service. Think that putting everything back together, including the dipstick, is part of what I pay for… oil all over engine compartment.

11/12/2024- We we driving thru Albuquerque and our truck broke down. The following morning I stopped at this shop with hopes of getting service. Kerry, the manager, was very courteous and he gave us hope that the vehicle would be repaired the same day. They had other jobs ahead of me but they jumped right on it and fixed my truck a few hours later. I am very pleased with their knowledge and courtesy. This shop was God sent. 👍

This was an awful experience. Charge me for tranny repair it didn't need. Found out it was the Tcc, that should of been replaced. I refuse to got back there . They charges me for replacing my transmission when it just needed the torque converter sensor.

I took my car into the dealership for a scheduled maintenance check up at 4 years and 40k miles. I was informed by the service rep later that I needed about $1400 worth of repairs. My immediate reaction was that the repairs were components like PCV valve and fuel injector that were rather early for the replacement schedule. I walked away and did my own homework over several weeks. I concluded that my car was either borderline "lemon" or something more suspicious. I took my car into Northside last week . I've been using them for years.They have been totally honest, fair, reliable and trustworthy. After a few hours, I got the news. They checked my vehicle and rechecked and found nothing wrong, nothing, nada. Unbelievable. Thanks to the team at Northside. These guys are absolutely great.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I've been bringing my cars to Northside Auto for a lot of years and have always been a happy customer. From the get go, Vic knew I was not mechanically minded and never took advantage of that. In fact, he ALWAYS made sure I understood what they were suggesting before doing any repairs. They are realistic about timing so I can plan ahead. And the bill is always more than fair! Kerry is wonderful as Vic's new service manager. He and his team are the best! Thank you Northside!

Really surprised. This place had a 4.8 Star rating on Google. When I pulled up the place was littered with dusty old cars. Tall barb wired fence. Made you feel unsafe. Came in for a tail light needing to be replaced. Took 1+ hrs to get it done! Inside is dirty. Won't return again. Paid $51.84 to have my light replaced! Isn't that a lot for 1 light? Then they forgot to give me my car keys! Had to go back in and ask for my keys back! Then when I started my car it rattled. Loud! I went back in - they said, o yea, we popped the hood of your car (why? If I am there for a back tail light out) and must not have put the stand back. So the mechanic comes out, pops the hood and right in front of me-- has no f clue where the stand needs to be put back in place. I point out to him where it needs to sit and he goes 'yea, I am blind as a bat! Can't see very well!' ... Are you KIDDING me?? Never again. Avoid this establishment.

Used to love Northside auto repair. Now that Kerry is gone I sadly won't be back! I went to schedule my oil change and was told it'll take an hour if I have the parts and don't have to order them. Ummm..... shouldn't you have the parts on hand for an appointment? Even if you have to order them they day before? Kerry please come back!
