Took our a/c machine to be repaired. After further diagnosis it was determined that parts were no longer available. I understand it is an older model. Richard the sales guy mentioned that he has a better a/c macnine out on the market. If we chose to purchase his machine he would "waive" the diag fee. When asked what tie diag charge would be he mentioned an hour of diagnosis. After purchasing an a/c machine from our local parts house he was surprised. When comparing both a/c machines, we decided our local parts house had a better deal. My office manager paid the invoice, and noticed the fee was for 2 hours diag. Sounds like the oid bait and switch pricing. Be sure to get pricing in writing before any work done.

I bought 350 dollars worth of paint over the last several weeks, paint needed to be matched was the first time, than one of there employees took it upon himself to go back to the unmatched paint. I bought 2 quarts and used them. As I went to spot paint the hood of my car, saw a right away difference in the paint. They did not want to own up to there mistake. I ended up having to go to NAPA PAINT. DO NOT GO TO PERFORMANCE PAINTS!!!

I needed my lifts serviced and repaired got there info from a friend. Charles made the process pain free and easy so i was able to focus on the rest of my business. The techs showed up earlier than expected on original inspection date (which was Appreciated) some parts to repair the lift were special order so that was the only hold up. I am very happy with the excellent service they provided and will defiantly use them from here on out.

Update!! Had to stop using these guys after several botched jobs, wrong quotes, getting charged a service call when they didn't even look at the problem. Every task took forever to complete and was a major disruption to our business. 3 months after their last visit and we have gotten water bills totalling $27,000. Performance broke a water line on their last repair, incorrectly repaired the leak, sending city water directly to the sewer line.

Horrible, just horrible, it's almost unbelievable how bad the customer service is. Tech was rude and unprofessional. Took 2 A/C units to have repaired, when dropping off the units in October before I could unload the units from the truck tech said we can't fix those without even looking at what model they were. I had to convince the tech who already had a horrible attitude to at least look at them. Again, with an angry attitude, he agreed to look at them. Told me it would be 2 months before he could look at them. 4 months later I call to see about an update the tech tells me we still haven't looked at them and it would still a few months before he could get to them as they are waiting on parts for current machines that are torn down. I asked why he couldn't at least look at our unit while he was waiting on parts. Tech, whose name is Sean, started yelling at me on the phone telling me I can not speak to him that way and I need to speak to the owner. He places me on hold for a moment, comes back on the phone, and tells me the owner does not want to deal it to come pick our machines and hangs up. If all possible I would stay away from this place.

I contacted Performance Equipment of El Paso to replace a broken safety lock cable on my 2-post lift. Over the phone, I clearly explained the issue, and I was told the cable was typically stocked on their truck and that the repair could be done during the visit. I was quoted $227.33 and required to prepay (to Albuquerque mind you) just for them to show up. They were flexible and worked around my schedule, which I appreciated. But once they arrived, they simply confirmed what I had already told them—that the cable was broken—and then told me I’d need to pay an additional $272.79 if I actually wanted the cable replaced. So essentially, I paid the first invoice just to be told exactly what I had already reported. When I questioned the $20 “materials” fee on the first invoice, I was told it was for WD-40. Then I saw another $20 “materials” charge on the second invoice—for a cable they said they make in-house from a spool that costs them $0.20 per foot. No clear explanation—just vague and dismissive answers. They also brushed off a clearly leaking hydraulic cylinder and told me it was “okay.” After they finally installed the cable, I noticed the one bolt they removed for the job wasn’t even tightened properly. In total, I paid nearly $500 for poor communication, unnecessary charges, and careless work. If I had known the first visit wouldn’t include the repair I asked for, I never would’ve agreed. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.
