Consistently good service, been taking company vehicles to Joe's for several years now. They've been willing to take on unconventional repairs on International trucks as well as day to day repairs on smaller pick up style models from Toyota and dodge. Great service worth the cost.

Jose is by far the BEST mechanic I have ever come across. I am a single female who needed an honest recommendation on what needed to be done to my car to get it up to par. Jose did not jack me around in any way. He was completely honest and extremely trustworthy. I would recommend taking your vehicle with any problem whatsoever to him. He can fix anything and most importantly, he won't try to rip you off. Thanks Jose!

I made a big mistake taking my vehicle to Joe's automotive 3101 Coors Rd SW Albuquerque NM. My car was stalling and dying so l took it to this shop. The owner Jose keep telling me it was this problem and that problem and after a month and over $1200.00 dollars I finally picked up the car. He said the car was fixed and that he drove it a couple of days and it was running great. On my way home it stalled 3 times and I barely made it home. So I called Jose and he said to bring it back to the shop. The car wouldn't start so I had it towed and spent another 80 dollars. I had no choice to take it back because I spent all this money for him to fix it. After another week I didn't hear from him and tried calling numerous times but I didn't get any answer. Finally l had to take an uber to the shop and the car hadn't been touched. I asked Jose what the holdup was and he said he ordered a part and it was going to take another week to get it. I asked him where he was getting parts and how much they were. He said Napa so I called myself and found out he was charging me double for the parts and also double for labor.l called 3 different mechanic shops and the labor to do the work was half the time he was charging me. I told him all this and he got very mad and said he was charging me the right prices. Finally he said the car was done and gave me another bill I could barely read. I refused to pay that much so he told me he wouldn't give me the keys until the bill was paid. I threatened to call the cops and I was going to get a lawyer. He finally cut the bill in half so I reluctantly paid again and took the car. On the way home the check engine light went on and the car was doing the same thing stalling and dying. I barely made it home again because I live 6 miles from the shop. I was so hurt and frustrated from this nightmare that I had to take it to another Mechanic. The car was fixed right and I got it back the next day and they charged me the right price for parts and labor. I almost gave up on my car after taking to Joe's automotive. He is a very dishonest man and isn't truthful about doing business the right way. Please don't take your vehicle to Joe's automotive because this might happen to you. He deserves 1 star Instead of 4 and 1/2. I lost out over $1569.00 dollars taking my car there.I'm really happy with the car now and it hasn't given me any problems.

Hi, I called to get a quote on a Friday ,to repair a rear main seal leak and I spoke with Joe he gave me a reasonable price to do the repair and he told me that he could get it done the same day. So I went on Monday and met Joe right at opening time, I asked him if he remembered our conversation especially that it would be done by the end of day. Joe is an honest person and he does quality work. I do believe that he has found a new customer. Thanks Joe.

Got work done and then left and a day later the engine light came back on- some excuse as now it was something different. Asked for a price and they never called back. Called multiple times and never got an apology, nothing. I took it from one horrible shop to them because they said they’d be better! $500 later and my light is still on and they won’t return calls. Worst customer service and professionalism I’ve come across in a while.

This place is a scam. Took my vehicle for AC repair and they just made it worse. Wanted to keep replacing parts to scam me out of money mind you I had already paid $1,000. An employee finally felt bad and told me my AC was not bad and the owner was lying.

This place doesn't even deserve a rating, scamed me out of 1,400 an didn't even fix or replace the parts he claimed he did, had on going problems 2 months since taking my vehicle to this place, had to keep taking it back several times an nothing was being fixed properly. Finally took it somewhere eles where I was told nothing was ever replaced at all so basically payed money for nothing. These ppl are liars an everyone should avoid going to them. They just want to take your money, would NOT recommend going to this place at all.

Honest guys... completed job as promised, when promised. Joe went out of his way to save me money. Had to take my '15 Chrysler 300 in to have AC condenser and radiator replaced. I needed to have freon refilled. Larry H. Miller wanted $600 just to refill freon! When i told Joe how much dealership wanted to charge... he went above and beyond to help. He had to purchase special equipment and asked to keep my vehicle an extra day and assured me he would fix it and save me money. He delivered vehicle next day as promised, and saved me more than $300 that I would've paid had I gone to the deslership. I found Joe and his brother to be straight shooters. More importantly they didn't try to rip me off just because I'm a woman. Down to earth guys, honest in their dealings.

Joe's attention to me and my family during our unfortunate breakdown while on vacation was simply amazing! I'm grateful to him and his team for such quick attention to my truck and assessing the damage that needed to be repaired. Unfortunately...it was late in the day, the damage was significant and it was late afternoon on a Saturday and getting parts was just not possible. They kept my truck and I rented a vehicle to finish our vacation. Mr. Joe is honest and upfront and performed great work. They communicated with me while on vacation and they fixed my truck. They had to replace the axle and bearing hub assembly! We made it back home to Texas! A big thank you to Mr. Joe and your team! God Bless! Its a vacation that we will never forget!

Very disappointed with Joe's shop. He emphatically repeats his policy of honesty, but when its all said and done, his delivery of service is further from his rhetoric of honesty. I had to take my auto 3 times to get what I believe to be mediocre service, and each time he blamed it on my previous mechanic, and he did not hesitate to add additional charges. What was initially supposed to cost me $680 landed up costing me almost $1,200.00. On top of that, my vehicle was left filthy with oil and grease marks inside and out of the vehicle. Learned my lesson, maybe the car dealers charge more, but you get what you pay for.

No nonsense and excellent pricing. Saved me and my four-year-old from breaking down again in triple-digit heat. Would recommend. Alternator and belt had trouble, they got me in the same day and back on the road same afternoon. They let me use their lobby wifi while I waited so I could keep working.

I took my Jeep to this mechanic shop due to an issue with acceleration. Despite paying over $400, the problem was never resolved. Initially, I was told it was an electrical issue, then it was suggested that it was a fuel problem. After more than four months without a definitive diagnosis or resolution, I decided to pick up my vehicle and sell it, as the unresolved issues made it impractical to keep. Additionally, the communication from the shop owner was far from satisfactory. Each time I called for an update, I was met with a rude and condescending attitude, making me feel like a nuisance for simply wanting information about my vehicle. The prolonged repair time and lack of professional courtesy have led to a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this shop based on the service I received.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Should have read reviews before taking my truck here. Absolutely shoddy work these other negative reviews are spot on about customer service and interaction with him. Went in to have manifold gasket replaced yesterday, called me to pick it up and wasn’t even finished when I got there. When it was ready, pulled out and truck died immediately. Turned right around and brought it back, running way worse than before gasket replacement. Tried telling me it was spark plug and computer would reset itself. Left and didn’t even make it home not even quarter mile from the shop before started overheating, got home and a coolant hose was leaking and not clamped, another vacuum hose unhooked, IAC sensor wasn’t clipped in all the way, oil hand prints all over the hood, multiple broken harnesses. Now out $500 and having to take it somewhere else to be fixed properly because I don’t trust them to bring it back to address the problem. Cash only apparently too even though I asked if he took cards before leaving my vehicle with him, their card reader conveniently wasn’t working when picked up my vehicle as other reviewers stated as well. Might be looking into taking this guy to small claims court and definitely contacting the Better Business Bureau Update: I just took it to a different mechanic and they found half of the bolts at the rear of the manifold weren’t even put on and one has a socket attached! So on top of shoddy work they performed they left tools wedged in my engine.

Read reviews, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, avoid at all cost or it will cost you. Owner doesn't know what he is doing all trial and error, every time you call for an update its another charge.

I don’t know who is answering the phones but the man is not helpful or friendly. I asked a simple question about a service his response “well yeah!” So unfortunately I wasn’t able to get any service done because that phone call quickly changed my mind about wanting to work at that shop.

The owner will smooth talk you into gaining his trust and business. Don’t fall for it! It’s all a scam! He doesn’t care about his customers, all he cares about is the money! Took my car in and $2800 later, it still has the same issue, now issues. He keeps telling us it’s something else every time we take it out and take it back in. He doesn’t take cards, insists on being paid by cash. Hmmm makes you wonder if he asks to be paid by cash because he doesn’t report the earnings to the IRS, something fishy is going on with this place. Don’t do it! Keep looking!

Had my truck towed in for a starter, simple enough. They ended up charging me $800 cash, said my truck was finished, it was FAR from finished. Now I need a new intake, because their technician warped it. I had my truck towed back, as it wasn't drivable. I ordered a replacement intake off eBay for another $275, a hard lesson learned, but I'll NEVER take my truck anywhere near his shop again.
