Amazing. What a transformation. We live in a travel trailer and the couch that we had was made with leatherette covering. In no time at all it began to deteriorate. When we thought of replacing it while we were in Albuquerque, the RV dealer recommended that we check out House of Covers to look at recovering options. It was the best decision that we have made. Jake came out to our site so that he could better understand the uniqueness of our request. Right from the get-go he made us feel important and as time went on, like family. A few days later we stopped in to the showroom and fabric was chosen and ordered. We returned a few weeks later. And Voilà work started and were so happy with the quality and the look of the changes to the couch that we extended our request to other areas of the trailer. Both Rita and Steve were involved from time to time and they made recommendations, for example to the trailer valances to give the trailer an up to date look. While our work was finishing up we could see the work being done for other customers. Just plain down to earth care, quality and respect for each job no matter how big or small. J and J Back

I had these guys repair my drivers seat springs and reupholster the seat. It cost $1k. It looked beautiful…for a bit. Then I started sinking lower and lower over the last two years. I could feel that a spring had broken. I came back last week and they offered to fix everything for $318. They barely looked at the seat. Just pushed on it and gave me a quote. Told me it was out of warranty. So I went to J Tanny and they fixed it for a lot cheaper.

The owner of this business is most remarkable craftsman I have seen. He made two seats for me for a Porsche 356. I hardly go anywhere without someone complimenting me on the seats. The car is worth a small fortune, but people are most impressed by the seats. I took another car to them this week. They are good people. Addendum: I just picked up my third set of seats from House of Covers. This time, the owner outdid himself. It's black and red but with black piping that disappears halfway through the seat at regular intervals. They are exquisite. Each time, the design becomes more elegant and sophisticated. The owner is an artist. Instead of working in paint or stone, he works in leather, but he is no less an artist than a painter or a sculptor. I would give him as much discretion as possible. If he knows that the car looks like, he will design seats specifically for that car.

I had bought the skins for my seats thinking I could do it myself. Well I was wrong. So I had given these guys a call. They quoted me a prices over the phone without seeing it first. When I arrived it doubled, which was understandable I knew there was going to he more work needed after all it was a 25 year old SUV. They did a great job from rebuilding the foam and fixing the seat frame! They had it done in one day. Hands down would recommend these folks.

I brought my 52 Chevy truck to House of covers and met with Jake. He was welcoming and showed me several different fabrics to choose from. After picking colors he estimated the job to be 5 days. He called at day 4 and said the project was completed. There we a few issues that came up after install and he addressed and fixed the issues a few weeks later. We just picked up our Bronco from getting reupholstered with Katzkin leathers and adding cooling to the front seats. It was a fantastic experience and they did a great job on the install, going the extra mile to put the power switches in a custom spot on the center console that is much harder to access compared to just putting them on the side of the seat as is normal. Jake and Angel were highly communicative with updates. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I called the House of Cover to see about them helping with a project. In contacting Jake, he was so pleasant and understood what we wanted. Jake and his team did a remarkable job from restoration of the foam to reupholstering of the two front seats. We dropped off the 27-year-old 4-runner on a Monday, it was ready 2 days later. They completed the job in a short time. Jake went above and beyond to work with our schedule on having the vehicle ready for pick-up that worked with our schedule.
