VERY AWFUL! Took my vehicle for one thing then one day we had it back it started smoking. The vehicle was running fine until we took it there and when we took it back we were charged for something they seemingly broke. Now we have the vehicle back and the hood has been altered and cannot open right. Very upset to have paid an excessive amount of money to have my vehicle in worse shape. Will never go back there again. Be warned, do not waste your money there.

Disgusting shop. I was driving from Sacoamento to Albuquerque and for the last 300 miles I had a check engine light code P2138 every 30 minutes. When this happened, the engine power went out and the car stopped driving. I had a scanner and I deleted this check engine light, after that the power returned and I could drive for another 30 minutes, but then it returned and everything happened all over again. I came to this shop and left my car for a few hours for diagnostics. After that, they called me and said they couldn't find this code from check engine light, but they found another one. Iโve heard first time about that and never seen before. They advised me to change the transmission module and the total will be $915. I asked: WILL THIS FIX MY PROBLEM? They said yes and I agreed with that. I paid $915, they changed this module for me and took my car and drove to Phoenix from Albuquerque. I drove for 6 hours and when I was already in Arizona, the same check engine light and the same code P2138 returned. In the morning, I called this shop and asked for help. They told me we can't help, then I said send a refund, they said we can't do that. I drove to Phoenix and there another shop fixed my car for $150 and have already driven 1,500 miles and everything is fine. I DO NOT RECOMMEND The Garage TO ANYONE. YOU CAN BE DECEIVED THERE AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY

We have been taking all of our vehicles to The Garage for years and can't think of a better automotive repair shop. Great customer service, kind, helpful, good communicators, and the quality of their workmanship is excellent. We are never caught off guard or met with any surprises on cost or needed repairs. The only time we have ever had to return after a repair was due to a manufacturing defect in a part, and not due to the skill or workmanship of The Garage. We just picked up my husband's 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid that was in need of repair and it felt like it was running like an old truck on a rough road before, but now it rides like a dream and is getting better gas mileage! Many thanks as always to The Garage.

My father has gone for years and there has been multiple on going issues with the car we put a brand new new engine in had issues with the coils would return ever other month cause coils kept going out! My husbands father looked at the car after several times of us going in and out paying and paying they take no accountability for nothing the recently said they had โfixed my air conditionerโ Iโve never had problems with the car over heating and thatโs whatm arose a week after taking it in, as Iโm taking it back in for over heating he continues to tell me โwell thatโs what happens when a car has 230 thousand miles it gets tiredโ knowing we just put a new engine in! Says if it has nothing to do with ac warranty wonโt cover it witch obviously it does if it didnโt have problems before they touched it now to find out itโs the hvac hose but they wonโt cover it how does that make any sense donโt they touch all of that to access ac and air box? Very upset to have paid an excessive amount of money to have my vehicle in worse shape. Will never go back there again. Be warned, do not waste your money there

Brought my 2013 mustang here when it broke down and I thought it was my alternator the first time and they charged me $1200 for that and about a week later my car breaks down again so I bring it back and the first thing they told me was that they canโt diagnose the car because they donโt know whatโs wrong with it. How can you run a mechanic shop and not know how to find a simple diagnostic I got scammed.and they told me that I have a faulty fuse and charged me $200 for a fuse they probably didnโt even change next thing Ik I drive my car for a day and it brakes down again so I bring it to a ford dealership to see what the real problem is and it was the fuel pump I got charge over $1400 from this place and they didnโt even fix my car.

I want to start by saying I do a fair amount of work on my own vehicles, and when I ran out of things I could fix, The Garage took AMAZING care of me!! My jeep was towed for free from my house. Adam, the towel truck driver was incredibly kind, pleasant, and very professional! He got my Jeep on the tow truck safely the whole time talking to me about what he was doing. After just over a day they called me with a diagnosis, with potential other issues if that wasn't the cause. I authorized the work, and I got a call a few hours later that that was the problem, the Jeep is now running, they took it for a test drive to make sure it was running well! The Jeep is not running smoother than it has in a decade!! Hector was courteous, precise, and extremely professional! I highly recommend The Garage and will absolutely use them again in the future!!! Sincerely -Customer for life!!!

Had our work truck there for a new steering column. The Garage fixed that along with dash lights showing. They went above and beyond. I will always keep coming back here for my vehicle fixes! Everything was great from the moment I walked in to the moment I picked up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Their customer service is extremely great. They were towing our non-started track very early morning (on time!) and found out what was the problem very quickly and fixed the track just a day! Highly recommend to bring your car to them!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice bunch of guys that talk a good game. But my car was in the shop 4 days and they couldn't fix it or tell me what was wrong with it. Then excuses "A mechanic was out sick", "We are wrapping up a couple of vehicles and will get to it". Finally told me to pick it up. Gave me the keys and said "Good Luck". They didn't charge me for anything. Took it to the Ford dealership they found the problem easily.

***Caution; Called for quote on rear main crankshaft seal R&R and also two output shaft seals R&R. No return phone call 24 hours. I called back said they would call me in an hour. Iโve never used this place but itโs right by my house and thought it would be easier to drop it off and I donโt have to fix it, time wise just didnโt feel like dealing with it. After I was called back I was quoted 1950.00. At 149.00 hr, book calls for 8.5 hours or 5.3 warranty. I asked what they were flagging for the output shaft seals, they said 3.5 hours. The transmission is already out of the vehicle for the output shaft seals while proceeding to do work on the crankshaft seal. Book calls to add 0.2 hours for output shaft seals if the rear main seal is being done on my explorer. Should have been 8.7 total hours. Unfortunately thereโs really no law that I know of double charging someone for the same work, so someone not mechanically able pretty much takes it twice in the shorts. What it comes down to is ethics. If theyโre not being ethical on a quote, I donโt find they will be ethical on the repair or stand behind their work. An extra 500 dollars is a big deal in todayโs economy and being a single parent. They probably wouldnโt use OEM parts either. So Iโve been slowly buying what I need and Iโll just do the job myself. 1950 is all new struts, seals, ball joints, tires and alignment. Plus take my kids to dinner and have a night on the town. The output shaft seals and rear main is 175 dollars from Ford OEM part. ****update; I did the work myself and fixed other issues along the way. New PTU seals, PTU fully serviced. New strut tower bracket, new coolant intake tube seals, new lower and upper intake seals, struts and shocks replaced, new HEGO oxygen sensor. Few other odds and ends. *another update; the owner made a snarky response to me however has since taken it down. I also posted a screenshot of someone else that they have tried to take advantage of that was posted on Nextdoor.

I had an amazing experience with The Garage from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and they greeted me as soon as I walked in. Robert explained the issues with my car in a way I could understand, and he was totally upfront about costs before any work was done. The repairs were completed faster than I could have expected, and my car now drives smoother than it has in years. I won't take my car anywhere else.

After blowing out our radiator on our tow vehicle on I-40 we got towed to The Garage very late in the evening. Of course they were closed for the day but we spent the night in our RV parked next to their shop. The next morning after checking in with their office they jumped right on the job to get us back on the road. They helped us to get a rental vehicle by taking us all around to find Enterprise. They also put our travel trailer into their secure storage for two nights while our truck was being repaired. They kept us informed at all times. After our repair was completed they helped us to get our rental back. I just can't say enough for The Garage and their employees for making us feel safe and comfortable. I wish we had such a great shop in our town. Thanks to "The Garage"!

This place is awesome. I did read all the reviews prior to taking my car in for service. The way I see it is this, There will always be a few negative reviews for any business. So I scheduled my appointment and took my car in for service. The front office people are very friendly and helpful. I got a courtesy ride home. When my car was done the next day they called me and asked if I needed a ride back to pick up my car. Most all other shops I have been to will not even offer that service. I was very impressed by their level of professionalism and quality of the work. The mechanic came in and showed me the failed control arm on my car. Now my car drives like new again and no more funny noises when driving. I will definitely be taking my car back. Fair prices and quality work. Don't let the reviews from other people that seem to have nothing better to do than try to ruin a business scare you away. I had a great experience at The Garage and will definitely be back and will refer them to friends and family. Thank you to the crew at The Garage!

โญ๏ธ Review for THE GARAGE โ Skilled, Honest, and Consistent โญ๏ธ We found THE GARAGE through r/Albuquerque, and they quickly became our go-to shop. Over time, weโve brought in all kinds of jobs: a long-parked F150 with major repairs needed, a hot hatch with engine trouble, a BMW needing solid diagnostic work, and routine maintenance on a Sequoia โ oil changes, front brakes, the usual. Every single visit, the work was done right. What keeps us coming back is how they operate. They explain issues clearly, lay out realistic options, and never push unnecessary repairs. Their pricing is fair, and when big repairs came up, they even worked with us on payments โ something we truly appreciated. Will deserves a mention. Heโs professional, upbeat, and always keeps things running smoothly at the front. Heโs got a good sense of humor and makes the whole process a little lighter without ever distracting from the business at hand. If you want a shop that knows their craft, communicates honestly, and treats customers with respect, THE GARAGE is the place. Theyโve taken care of every vehicle weโve brought in, and we trust their work completely.

I recently had the Garage do quite a bit of work on our 2015 Subaru Forester. We've taken our two cars there for a few years now and have been satisfied with the work they do, though it is on the expensive side, and the people working there have been good to deal with. The problem I now have is what we were charged during our recent visit, which was $4,500 for a 10 year service. What stuck out for me was being charged over $40 for each of four spark plugs and $577 to replace them. I was told that it takes 3 1/2 hours to change the spark plugs since the engine had to be slightly moved to do it. I later googled this and found out that a qualified mechanic can do this work in 1 to 2 hours, while a DIYer might take 3 hours - yet I was charged for 3 1/2 hours work. When I asked about this discrepancy I was told that their book quoted a time of 3 1/2 hours to do this work and that's what they charge even if the work doesn't take that long. So, if their mechanics are good, the work should have taken them only 1 to 2 hours, but they were getting paid for 3 1/2 hours work - I don't know about you, but I've never had a job that worked like that. The bottom line is that we paid over $700 to have 4 spark plugs replaced on an ordinary Subaru Forester - you have to ask yourself if that sounds like a good deal to you. I thought we had our go-to place to take our cars, but now I realize I was mistaken.

Had a great experience with The Garage. They replaced the heads on my 2019 Ford Flex and did an awesome job. Everything was explained clearly, the work was solid, and I never felt out of the loop. Big shout-out to Meridee, the shuttle driverโshe was super friendly, right on time, and made the whole thing way easier than I expected. Itโs hard to find a shop you can trust, but The Garage definitely earned my confidence. Highly recommend!

I had two great experiences at The Garage. The dealership quoted me 6 thousand to replace my air bag system. I have never been in a wreck and it was a problem with a wire becoming undone/broken. They were able to to fix the faulty wiring for SIGNIFICANTLY less, literally saving me thousands. Apparently, they have someone on the staff who is great with electrical problems. The second time I went back, they had my car done same day and were MORE than reasonable with price. They are hardworking and seem really honest in their craft. I 100% recommend them, shout out to Robert for helping me twice. He is great! It's hard to find a garage, especially as a woman who doesn't know much about cars, I regret all the money I wasted at the dealership. The Garage definitely will have all my future business. Thanks again!
