Beware! Horrible customer service - rude men and it feels very unsafe. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. It should not take weeks with zero follow up at all - plus sub par work. Never again. Terrible experience - Couldn’t get my vehicle out of there, fast enough - headed right over to a reputable Automotive shop that was so refreshing to see - a clean, Organized, Friendly service team I trust and feel safe with. If I could give zero stars I would.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Donny's Automotive LLC, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Donny’s truly understand the meaning of customer service. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided detailed explanations of the service my vehicle required. Their expertise is evident; they quickly diagnosed the issue with my car and offered a transparent quote without any hidden fees. The work was completed in a timely manner, and I was kept informed throughout the entire process. It’s clear that they care about their customers and their vehicles. The quality of the work is outstanding! My car is running better than ever, and I feel more confident on the road. Plus, the facility is clean and well-organized, which is always a nice touch. I highly recommend Donny's Automotive LLC to anyone in need of reliable and honest automotive services. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Donny's team.

Donny’s Automotive is a fantastic local business with excellent customer service and real expertise. While I had to call a few times for updates and my steering wheel wasn’t reinstalled correctly at first (which they’re fixing for free), I really appreciate their honesty and commitment to making it right. As a growing shop, I can empathize with the owner—there’s clearly a high demand for their services, but they still do their best to work efficiently and carefully. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I brought my BMW to Donny’s Automotive when it wouldn’t start, and they were amazing from start to finish. They replaced my IBS sensor, the battery, and did several other repairs all while keeping me informed every step of the way. They always checked with me before doing anything, explained things clearly, and made sure I understood what was going on. The amount of work they did was impressive, and the price was very reasonable. My car is running great now. Highly recommend Donny’s Automotive’s if you want honest, knowledgeable, and reliable service!

I was put in a bit of a bind and long story short broke down on a cross country road trip. Initially, AAA recommended a shop since I wasn’t familiar with the area and upon arrival, they were closed. The tow truck driver did me a huge favor and reached out to this shop since they are 24/7. I had to leave my car in a city I don’t know well and continue on my trip since I was on a time crunch. I told them to do a basic diagnosis and all I have to say is their service was above and beyond. There was one miscommunication that ultimately didn’t matter and since I wasn’t able to return or even deal with this problem for about 3 weeks after I dropped the car off, I let them know. This was more a blessing in disguise since they had experienced some delays in their business but ultimately it helped me out since they didn’t just rush the job and charge me a lot of money in storage fees. Not to mention, when I started dealing with the receptionist who is the sweetest lady, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. She made sure I was okay with the whole process and even did me a favor and reorganized the inside of my car before a long distance tow to make sure nothing got damaged. Sure the price for a simple diagnosis was higher than normal but that’s what comes with a 24/7 business that ultimately ended up saving my butt.

This place saved us on our way from Texas back to California. Battery light came on about an hour outside of Albuquerque - got the battery tested at auto zone and determined my alternator needed replacing…not fun at the end of the day on a road trip. All my dash lights started flashing on the freeway so I pulled over and found Donnie’s Auto on Google. . I called them up and told them the issue, and he said he could get us turned around asap. My car barely made it to the shop (all dash warnings on at this point). They swapped out my alternator in about an hour and a half and sent us on our way. The cost was about what I expected which is a nice relief. I was worried that a local mechanic might try and take advantage of my situation and charge extra for the rush, but the folks at Donny’s were very kind and honest. The turnaround very fast. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I am truly grateful that they were available to help. Otherwise it would have put a big strain on my travel back home and cost me an extra day of hotel stay and missing a day of work. These guys are great.

My car was on its last legs when I brought it into Donny's Automotive. I asked for a headlight replacement and a brake pad and rotor change. I asked if they'd take a look at the vehicle as well for any other repairs it might need. Their prices were notably more affordable than many of the big chain autoshops i had been to. After they had finished up, they let me know the whole suspension urgently needed replaced. At the time my car made an extremely loud rumbling sound that grew louder the faster I drove. I agreed with their determination and they started work on the replacement. It only took these guys 2 weeks to do my suspension, even being as busy as they were. Most dealerships take 3-4 weeks to do that kind of work. They also got the car completely detailed for me as well and did something to make me not need a new catalytic converter. The overall price was well within my budget and the car ran great. A couple weeks went by and I noticed the car making a add scraping sound when I backed into my parking spot. I took it back to Donny's and it turns out one of the parts was faulty. They replaced it completely free of charge. All in all, my car runs great and I got it all for a great price. 10/10 recommend

Took my car according to reviews and the mechanics are backyard mechanics, They don't have degrees in any of it nor know what they are doing even by experience. I had so much trouble getting my car fixed correctly. As i asked Donnie over and over again to please fix what they charged me for. I finally just sucked it up and took the $5,000 loss. Finally found REAL HONEST MECHANICS up in Rio Rancho

Shop was unreliable. Had my car there for over 40 days and they misdiagnosed my car costing me over a thousand dollars due to their lack of attention to detail and empathy for my situation. They mislead me to think that my car was fixed when it was not and I confronted them about this to which they explain that it wasn't their problem. I don't not recommend this company at all.

I can’t thank this shop enough I’m from out of town and found myself in a tough spot wen my vehicle broke down late at night. Donny and his team went above and beyond. He personally sent out a tow truck in the middle of the night and even help me find a room nearby so I could rest first thing in the morning as soon as the parts store open, they got to work by lunchtime My vehicle was fixed and I was back on the road. These guys are incredible dependable, and efficient and surprisingly affordable. If you ever find yourself needing help in the area of this veteran own shop is a place to go to professionals with heart. Thank you again Donny you’re a lifesaver.

I don’t know where to begin. The carelessness and unprofessionalism in this shop is apparent. I took my car in to get a wheel bearing replaced after I heard it making sounds in my cross country trip. They were the only shop open at night in the area when I had noticed the sound. When I delivered my car, the technician told me that I needed a $167 diagnosis fee to replace the bearing since I didn’t know which exact wheel was making the sound and told me that checking if it were the driver or passenger side would be, “technically a diagnosis.” This resulted in me laying in their parking lot jacking up both sides of the car to simply spin each wheel to listen to which one was making the sound. After making my determination I told them which wheel and to please do the work as quickly as possible since I am on my way to California in the next two days, but the owner who I spoke to on the phone initially assured me that my car would be finished the next day. At the end of the next day I called to get the status and was told that it would be done “tomorrow.” The next day I called and was immediately told that the car would, again, be done “tomorrow.” This now makes three “tomorrows.” After not getting a direct answer on when my car will be done, I show up to the shop in person to press on when my car will be complete and they tell me that they will have it done in 20 minutes. Thankfully, they did not charge me a $167 diagnosis fee and replace the wheel bearing that I had instructed to replace solving the issue. The cabin of the car has grease stains throughout (primarily passenger side, which no technician would need to be in) and smell of spilled grease. Complete carelessness of technicians and I have a black interior so I’m afraid of what I can’t see. Additionally, despite requesting them not to diagnose my car for other issues, the technician at the front goes on to tell me numerous other issues they found and “recommend” that I address them immediately. Two instances of this stand out, the first being the cabin air filter. They had apparently removed the filter to show a large about of debris (twigs, leaves, dirt, etc.) stating it needs to be replaced. They then shoved the old cabin air filter back into the car causing leaves and dirt to become lodged throughout my A/C and I now have to deal with getting blown with dirt when I turn on my A/C and loud rustling of leaves now lodged in the ducts. They had no business going through that part of the car, and have now intruded a new issue since working on my car. Additionally, the staff member at the front tells me that both sides of my car have suspension components that need to be replaced urgently. I inquired that if both sides had equal wear or if one side was particularly problematic. He stated both sides need to be serviced and have equal wear. This is an abhorrent lie considering the fact that the very suspension piece he is talking about I had replace a few months ago due to it rattling. Being a technet shop means very little if high standards cannot be maintained amongst the staff and technicians. I would avoid this shop at all costs and move to a shop that treats its customers professionally

Donny's Automotive is helping me get my new to me 20 year old SUV caught up with needed regular maintenance. So far I'm very satisfied with the work that has been done. I plan to have the struts and shocks replaced next.

I can’t say enough good things about Donnie‘s automotive after visiting several shops and spending nearly $1000 trying to fix an issue. No one could figure out. I finally brought my vehicle to Donnie‘s from the moment I walked in. I felt like I was in good hands. They ran a proper diagnostics, identified the real problem quickly and had it fixed in no time their pricing was fair and much more competitive than what I had seen elsewhere huge shout out to Donnie and the whole team. These guys really know what they’re doing, professional honest and efficient. I definitely Will be bringing all my future car issues here and recommend them to everyone. I know thanks again.

Straightforward honesty is greatly appreciated. Donny’s diagnostic revealed a serious issue on my relatively new car that the dealership did not find. Customer for life!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. They had my car for a week and a half, and for most of that time they didn’t even know whose car it was even after I provided my information to them three separate times. I called multiple times for updates, and the two times I was actually able to reach someone, I was told they were still doing diagnostics and that I’d get a call back later that day with an estimate. The first time, no one called back. The second time, I did get a call, but it was about the wrong vehicle. When I finally spoke to someone again, I was told the diagnostic was done, but the receptionist admitted she didn’t know anything about cars, and I wasn’t allowed to speak directly to the mechanic. The last time I called was just to let them know I was sending a tow truck to take my car to a different shop. The entire process was unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating from start to finish. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Update: Donny called and tried to bribe me to take this down.

The most stressful week of my life was made so much easier by these good folks. Diagnostic was very thorough and explained and made it easy to make all the decisions best for me. Every employee I spoke with was just amazing, would go no where else.

$1,500, 11 Months, and My Car Came Back Worse I brought my car here for a faulty crank position sensor and a damaged pigtail. They replaced the sensor, did some wiring repairs, and billed me $1,500. After that, everything stalled. There was never a clear deadline. I kept hearing “a few more days.” Weeks turned into months. At one point, they even lost my keys. Communication was minimal, and I was constantly strung along with no real answers. Eventually, they told me the vehicle was running just “running poorly.” After waiting nearly a year, I was tired of the delays and had them tow it back to me so I could take it elsewhere. When it arrived, it would not start at all. My one-year-old battery was completely dead. Interior panels were torn off. Parts were sitting loose inside the car and my ECU was dangling by wires. 11 months. $1,565. No fix and my car was returned in worse condition than when I brought it in. I cannot recommend this shop

Blew a tire on I-40 eastbound (because of course it had to happen in the middle of a cross-country trip on a Saturday night). Donny himself was quick to respond and got us towed into his garage. Points there for professionalism and for being available when most people are winding down their weekend. That said, communication was rough. Sunday was understandably a no-go for replacing my specialty tire, but updates were scarce and it wasn’t until Monday evening that things wrapped up. When they finally did, the crew somehow forgot the very basic step of filling the new tires with air. Not the end of the world, but not exactly confidence-building either. The shop is inexpensive, Donny is professional, and the staff is friendly when you catch them in person. Just be ready for some frustrating phone tag (their system makes it nearly impossible to reach a human) and for a little patience with the pace of communication.
