I went in last week needing a battery for my car. Nick carried the heavy battery for me while I held my 2 year old. I didn’t realize that my car needed that battery then and there. Nick was super helpful and kind and said he would absolutely help me change it! I’m usually pretty handy but I didn’t have my tools and I had my daughter in the car. I’m super appreciative of his help and I will always go back for my cars needs.

We came in for help with our car battery. It had been giving us trouble for a while, and the other shop we visited kept insisting there was nothing wrong with it. At O'Reilly, an employee named Alfonso found the problem immediately and took care of it quickly. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. O'Reilly will be our new go-to, thanks for the help!

I’m telling you - these guys are ON POINT! I was told by a mechanic that I needed a new battery and after doing research, I came across these guys. I must tell you this first… I went by their other location in Downtown and it seemed like ‘they were just doing their job’. They meant well and truly meant no harm. I just didn’t notice as much proactivity and showing the type of service as this location did! I called up this location and Alfonso (the manager) picked up the phone HIMSELF! The other location said that they didn’t carry my type of battery at all! That wasn’t the case when I spoke with them originally on the phone… how annoying! When I spoke with Alfonso, he was beyond personable - no matter how busy they were over there. I immediately drove over and noticed how busy they were. STILL - he took the time to speak with me and regardless of how busy they were… he not only found the battery in-house… he gave me a price breakdown and… HE INSTALLED IT HIMSELF! Personable, professional, on-point and doing things right. Now THAT’s what I call customer service. I wish there was a 500 stars out of 5. Please do yourself a favor and give this guy some props. He’s running a mighty fine establishment! Keep up the fabulous work Alfonso! You are absolutely incredible at what you do!!

I just had the most incredible experience at this location.For someone that is not well versed in mechanics, this place could be intimidating, but they made it easy. The customer service was exceptional and it didn’t stop there. After my transaction, I walked to my car knowing the hard part was to come. I was looking at my car with a puzzled looked and an employee named Dominick, that had just finished helping another customer saw me and offered to help. He filled my coolant and windshield fluid for me. He even helped align the grill of my car, which I thought was broken.Talk about going the extra mile!! I am most grateful for Dominick, you a made me a customer for life. Thank you for your kindness.

Dru helped me find the right size windshield wipers and with my old battery. Once I had the windshield wipers. I went outside to install them. I was completely helpless and like to break my wipers by improperly handling them. Jorge came to my rescue and installed them for me in no time. Thank you Jorge you are the best!!!!

I've always preferred O'Reillys to other autoparts stores, but no longer after my experience here. Heres a good story: 1. I go to store to purchase an alternator 2. Gentleman pulls the wrong alternator. I don't realize it until later when i have time to work on car. Store is closed for evening by now. 3. Next day- I go to a different O'Reillys and get the correct part 4. Install correct alternator 5. Car battery dies on the way to return wrong part and core alternator. 6. Walk half mile to the store buy new battery, back to my car, install battery and return to the store just before closing 7. I go to return core and the wrong alternator. The clerk is dumbfounded that my part doesnt match the one on the receipt. Doesnt match because the other guy gave me the wrong part. The guy who sold me the part the day before is there as well, she asks him for help and he says "I'm just a regular employee, I don't have any authority" 8. The 2 employees ask me to come back tomorrow when the manager is there and proceed to ignore me and start closing their cash registers. I leave and they lock the door behind me. 9. The gentleman calls me 20 minutes later saying he found the part i was supposed to originally get and can do the return if i come back to the store. I tell him I'm not coming back because i already drove back home and tell him he should have heard me out when i was in the store... he hangs up on me. 10. New alternator seems to be acting funny 11. I return to the store the following morning. Store manager executes the core return and regular return with no grief in less than 5 minutes 12. I ask for an alternator check because car is still acting funny and giving battery light 13. The new alternator comes back as faulty voltage regulator 14. Try to get the alternator replaced on warranty, but they apparently dont have the part in stock. They dont do much to look around for it, even though i tell them the guy called me the night before and said he had it. They send me to another store 10 min down the road that has it in stock. 15. I go to the store downtown, get another alternator on warranty, swap it in the parking lot and I'm off the races. What a fiasco!

Well stocked auto parts store! They have everything you need at decent prices. There O'Reilly brand brake cleaner works just as great as the name brand but it's cheaper! The staff is friendly & help you find what your looking for or need. The location is a good spot in town where you don't have to drive across town to get there. Definitely recommend.

Went into the store on East Main in Ventura had an add oil light on and was in panic I had 10.00 to my name till payday when I had scheduled the oil change. Dru comes out and is very polite and nice and doesn’t treat me like a helpless woman. We go out to the car and she tries to check the oil and the dip stick is locked on…we turn on the car and all of a sudden the light is off. She calmly says let’s put a half of a small container of oil in and you take the rest in your car. I felt seen and heard which isn’t normal in car repairs. Dru is the bomb!!

I can’t say enough good things about the O’Reilly’s on East Main Street. After a week of frustration at the West Main location, I walked in here and immediately felt the difference. The employee who helped me, Dominick, went above and beyond. Even though he was already assisting another customer, he noticed me come in with a heavy battery and immediately paused to take it from me so I wouldn’t have to stand there holding it. That simple act of kindness set the tone for the whole visit. Within 20 minutes, he had completely resolved what had been a week-long ordeal on West Main. He quickly sorted out my battery warranty and apologized sincerely for my experience at the other location. His professionalism, empathy, and efficiency turned what had been a nightmare into an absolute relief. To the team at East Main—thank you. You treated me with respect, kindness, and urgency, and I am so grateful. I’ll be recommending this location to everyone I know!
