I find it hard to believe that 3 people have rated this place with a 5 star. I called in for a tune up quote on my 2005 f150 and I had the worst experience over the phone. I was placed on hold for several minutes. When the person came back on the phone I was spoken too with the worst additude and still didnt get a quote. The gentleman told me he would call back with a quote but I have now taken my truck elsewhere and still havent gotten a call back.

Everytime i have gone to oakley auto service, they have done a wonderful job on my vehicles. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other auto shops, they don't rip you off or tell you there's something else wrong with your vehicle when in reality there isn't. They don't jack up prices on replacement parts or overcharge on labor. I highly recommend these folks for auto repair or upholstery interior work.

Anti-women. Al made sure I realized that women are the only ones that post on the internet and they always have great things to say about this shop. We have been trying to get our truck fixed for weeks. When dealing with my husband, Al says, "Bring it back next week". (This has happened 3 times), then today, when I took it in, he said to take it elsewhere. He had very little good to say about women and young people.

We have been going to Alan for over 12years. He is fair with his prices. Keeps you in the loop of whats is going with your vehicle or if its an easy fix that you may be able to fix yourself hes willing to give advice. Alan enjoys what he does. Appts are necessary.

I called on Tuesday morning to make an appointment to get my air conditioner fixed. He told me to be there at 6am on Thursday and he would have it fixed that day. Today is Thursday so at 5:30am I woke up my 5 year old and 18 month old and loaded them in the car. When I got there all he did was complain that he had too much work, tell me that he doesn't remember making an appointment with me and then said I would be lucky if I got it back next week. I have a family to haul around I cant wait a week and a half, especially when he said it would be done same day. This man does not do what he says and that makes him untrustworthy. I wouldn't trust him to put gas in my car let alone operate tools to repair it.

I had my classic car repaired there. I needed my AC recharged (with the new freon). Plus, my AC compressor was the source of the leak. Alan picked up a new one, and replaced it. The compressor failed six months later, but he made good on replacing it no charge. Good work - good value - good people!

I have tried posting for the last 15 min. I hope it works this time. Unfortunately, I was informed this morning that Alan passed away. My heart is heavy. He was such a great guy, but more importantly an EXCELLENT mechanic. I remember him having deep conversations with me about the economy and how cars aren't being made the same like they were back in the day...etc. He used to make me chuckle. I have been taken advantage of on a few occasions elsewhere (due to being a woman of color), but Alan was the total opposite. He treated me well and never over-charged me, much less have me pay for repairs I didn't need. My prayers go out to his little girl and other family members. Take your rest, Alan. ❤

Allen is super kind, and they're very honest and reasonable with they're rates. They are car people and know what they are doing! Went in at 2pm to ask about pressing in a control arm bushing. He stopped what he was doing and set me up on the hydraulic press and let me do it myself. In and out in less than 10 minutes! Other places I called wanted me to wait till Monday! He didn't even want any money but I gave him some and will definitely be taking my cars here in the future and will also be recommending him to everyone I know. 0 BS shop/guy! A++

Billy is the owner of auto shop. He is super friendly and professionally mechanic. Very busy man but he took quick diagnostic on my lifted F150 truck with 4x4 system and guide me what to do next. My car was having issues that needed to be addressed immediately. I gave this place a call and he told me to bring it in at 6am the next day so he could take a look. He doesn’t show up until 7am. I give him the keys so he can take a look at it later. Later that day he calls me and says he needs to order parts for it and will fix it. Says the parts won’t come in for a week but the car is still drivable. So I go back and pick my car up and tell him I will be back next week for it to be fixed. He told me the date and time to bring it in. So I told my work I will be using a vacation day for that day so my car will be fixed. The date arrives and I’m literally on my way to him and he calls me, saying he got food poisoning and won’t be able to fix the car. And doesn’t give me a future date to come back! I think he forgot to order the parts and was just lying to me. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN
