I purchased a used car that they stated they would be willing to stand behind the warranty remaining on the work completed even though im a new owner to this vehicle. That shows how confident you are in your work. Its just good buisiness management practice. Hopefully ill never need to use it. If any issues arrise i will update. Update: Had to get some work done. Jason took great care of me. Update: My transmission needs to be replaced again and the warranty is up đĄ

Happy Wednesday, kids! I wanted to post a testimonial for Olathe Transmission, more specifically, Jason. Not only did he pull me out of a two week backup in their work flow, since I had a relatively minor issue, but I got out the next day! That not only saved me a $375 rental, given holiday rates, but let me finish out today, on campus, with my own car! Let me tell you WHY this is my place. Yes, they are a âtransmission shopâ but they do everything else, mechanical, as well. My first introduction to them, was when I had a KNOWN transmission problem with Chelle âs Cadillac SRX. I took it to Jason, TELLING HIM I knew it was the transmission. I got two estimates from him; one, the cost of NEW, the other for a rebuild. I wanted âworst caseâ on both so Iâd know how to plan. Jason called me back, the next day, telling me I did NOT need a transmission. My issue was a faulty, externally mounted part that had failed. Total damage? $150.00, parts and labor. Now, the point of this? If you take your car to a TRANSMISSION shop, TELLING THEM you already know you need a TRANSMISSION, they have full license to install a TRANSMISSION. With those being the base line understandings, thereâs nothing in the world that screams âhonestlyâ like that shop calling you back, to tell you youâre WRONG, and what you really need is a simple, external part. Your bill isnât going to be $2,800âŚ.but $150! Since that day, Iâd never take any mechanical problem ANY WHERE ELSE! If youâre any where in the KC metro area, even though they are in Olathe, THIS place is worth the tow bill to get it there! I simply canât say enough good about them! Thank you, once again, Jason. Youâre one in a million!

They assisted with a multiple option approach at repairing the transmission. Didn't believe the entire transmission needed rebuilt and suggested repairing the torque converter, however they were up front and communicated additional steps and fees(along with credits from current repair payment) if this doesn't solve my vehicles issues. Overall it was a great experience.

I just had a transmission installed with this shop. I have nothing but positives just like everyone else. After my transmission was installed my engine light came back on. Jason ran a diagnostic and it had nothing to do with the work just completed. I think they had me back in my car in 3 days. I had a funny intereact with a guy and I asked if Jason was the owner because I wanted to tell Jason thanks for being helpful. The guy I was talking with identified himself as the owner and he was pretty nice as well. I'd recommend these guys.

If you are looking for an honest shop who does awesome work, don't look any further. I use Olathe Transmission for both of my cars. Don't let the name "Olathe Transmission" fool you. While they specialize in rebuilding or installing new transmissions, they are full service auto mechanic! I don't ever take the time to review any business, but I felt it was warranted. A special shout out to Jason, he is great to work with. There is another guy who answers the phone sometimes (don't know his name). who is pleasant to work with as well I plan on bringing in my Yukon Denali Friday for more work . I highly recommend Olathe Transmission to anyone and will continue to refer them to friends who need car repairs. I am so thankful someone referred them to me over 2 years ago. Moving from out of state, it is hard to find honest mechanics.

I have had two transmissions put in at Olathe Transmission. The last one was 2 years ago for a f350 which cost $2900.00. I have another f350 fleet truck with the same transmission that started having issues so I dropped it off for them to look at. It took them 10 days to diagnose it and they ended up quoting a rebuild of a transmission for $5200.00. I asked them why they raised their prices so much in two years and they blamed it on COVID. I called two other transmission shops and got quotes for around $3000.00 making Olathe Transmission the highest quote I received. Not sure why the raised their prices so much. Maybe itâs because of the new manager Jeff that took over this yearâŚ

My car was experiencing transmission issues and the check engine light was on. I took my car to a different transmission shop and they told me I needed a new transmission, which would cost more than the car is worth. I took my car to Olathe Transmission Service to get a second opinion and they were able to fix my transmission rather than replace it. They got me back on the road by doing a repair the other shop would not even attempt. I really appreciate the quality work and the level of service this shop offers. If I run into any transmission issues in the future I will only bring my vehicles to Olathe Transmission Service. Service Performed: 2006 Infiniti M35x | Repaired the front brake solenoid circuit inside the throttle body.

They scheduled me to drop off my car first thing in the morning and said that I should have an answer later that day. At about 1pm, I called just to check in and was told that they had gotten to my car and would call me back soon. The call came a little bit later, and he gave me great news. He had checked, cleaned, and replaced a dirty sensor, and he thought that was all that was wrong because that was the only error message that came back to him. He told me to come pick it up and to drive around and let him know if it was driving better. I am thrilled to say that is. I would definitely recommend Olathe Transmission. Just give them a call and set up an appointment to drop off your vehicle.

Had the best experience with Olathe Transmission! Jason got me in quickly and was completely honest with what he needed to do to get my car back up and running. The dealership told me I needed to replace the whole transmission at a whooping $5700, turns out I only needed to replace part of the transmission for just $1500. Highly recommended them for any of your transmission needs.

Olathe Transmission replaced the transmission valve body in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The part was in short supply following a united auto worker strike and the pandemic, but this shop was able to get the part in the same amount of time as the dealership (more than a month) for half the price, along with their added expertise in installation and reprogramming. So, I had the car towed from the dealership to Olathe Transmission. They took great care and had the car fixed in 2 days as promised after the part finally arrived.

AMAZING work and service at (Olathe Transmission Service). I got a Subaru STI that needed a new clutch and I went ahead and upgraded the whole kit (ACT kit- pressure plate/throwout bearing/light weight flywheel). Jason, Paul and the guys at the shop did an incredible job of removing/installing it. They even flush my old transmission and differential fluid out and replace with new oil I brought in free of charge. The price for the new clutch install was very reasonable. Jason told me that if I drop my car off early Monday morning they would finish it up the very next day (Tuesday). I did exactly that and he kept his words, he called me (1:30pm-Tuesday afternoon) and said the car was done and I can pick it up anytime. Jason and his team are incredibly good, honest and reliable. Everything exceeded my expectations!!! Thank you very much guys for your professionalism and the great work, you got me as a customer for life. I definitely recommend everyone the expertise of Jason & everyone at (Olathe Transmission Service), your car will be in great hands.

I had a 2005 Dodge 2500 diesel that needed a new transmission. Jeff and the crew installed a rebuilt transmission for my truck. When I picked it up it ran like a brand new truck. A few days later I noticed a small oil leak. I brought it to Jeffâs attention and they replaced several seals again. They had my truck for 3 days trying to locate the leak. They finally found it and fixed it at no cost which is the outstanding customer service they provide. I sincerely appreciate the job you and your employees did and your great customer service!! Brian

They aren't a Subaru shop, but they quickly analyzed the drive train problem in my 2003 Subaru Outback (326,000 miles) and replaced the worn front axel. I'm happy to have the best car I've ever owned back in shape.

If I could give them a zero I would. Absolutely the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. If you want to be talked to like less than a human AND be price gouged by all means go here. If you want professional service and reasonable prices go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a new used 2021 Ford Expedition with 73,000 miles and needed the transmission serviced, Ford Dealerships and many other shops around town wanted to only do a flush on the transmission fluids, that isn't good for transmissions, you want to drain and replace filter, I was getting quotes for $700 to $800 dollars to drop pan and change fluids. I called Olathe Transmission, and they quoted me $300, and I asked if that was a flush, Jeff told me no, you never want to do that it's bad for transmissions we drop the pan and drain. I knew I was dealing with the right place; Jeff also told me exactly the details on replacing the filter and fluid on my Expedition and since I just watched a video, I knew he was spot on and telling me the truth and felt confident about the job they were doing for me; I got my Expedition back and running smooth as a champ with no leaks, 1 day turn around, I will be back with my other vehicle's when they need serviced. I have told all my friends about this place, great customer service.

For the past 20 years I've gone to Olathe transmission. They are the most honest and the most professional. You will not find a better transmission service company with very competitive prices and probably the best price. I've had them work on for different vehicles and one was under their labor warranty that they fixed for free and I don't even think that it was because of their workmanship but they fixed it anyway with no cost. They get 6 stars, in my opinion

I have done business with Olathe Transmission for 25 years. Four personal drivers and 10 custom, high horsepower builds later, I have NEVER had a single failure. There are a bit cheaper places, but with this staff, you are paying for QUALITY with value in mind. Highly recommended.

Olathe Transmission Service is truly superb. Jeff checked my pickup at 10:00 am today, and told me what the transmission needed to have done. He also told me that they might be able to finish it today. Jeff called me at 3:50 pm, to tell me the work was done. Thank you Jeff and Technician Julian for your excellent and professional work. I sincerely appreciate you. Olathe Transmission Service has my highest recommendations, their work is outstanding, and they really care about their customers. Superb!
