Always had a positive experience with these guys. I have been coming to Omags for 6 years now and wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else. The owner is nice and fun to talk to and they are honest and never try to do unnecessary work. It's hard to find a good mechanic in LA. I got nothing but love for these guys!❤

If I could, I will give you less than one start. Why ? because these people are so unprofessional so I bring my car to do smog check, they say all it’s going to be $70. I say OK that’s OK , just because this is the one closer to the DMV little overpriced of curse ! But I needed to return to the DMV ASAP ! so they after 30 minutes they come up with bad news. They say the test didn’t pass I asked them why, they say my car was everything ok but VVT System Didn’t pass , they explain me it was because my car looks like it was reseted recently and maybe the computer was not showing how much my car has been drive . So to pass the test they said just need a little drive in the freeway for about 40 miles and that’s it , so I took my car for a drive , and I came back , they put the scanner and they say the car was still no ready , they told me to bring the car to the freeway one more time . So I went to Santa Monica beach again , they ask me to no pass de 60 MPH , (they didn’t mention that at first tho ) so I went for a second time and come back and they say ok still no ready , ok lets some day pass , at least one week just drive it and come back they say ! What a bad service they are so unprofessional! Why they did’nt mention that at first ! I spend my whole day trying to get the smog check done , I went to spend gas , my time I pay for nothing , oh and wait ! I still have to pay another 60 dollars to get the certificate in case I passed ! Can you believe that paying double ! Plus they are so rude , they have NO manners to treat people! Bad bad bad ! Don’t go there save your money and your time ppl !

Guess what? I've finally found an incredible auto mechanic to take care of our company vans! I was about to give up and accept expensive dealer service center prices, along with the inconvenience of a 35-minute drive each way. But then I discovered this amazing auto shop behind Best Buy. Let me tell you, this place is fantastic! They're always ready to help whenever I need something fixed or checked. Plus, they use top-quality OEM parts and offer the best prices in town. Rude and unprofessional. I came in with my own $217 Costco battery (with a 3-year warranty) for my Suburban, just asking for installation. A lady there—possibly the owner—called me cheap for not buying her $200 battery (lower quality, no real warranty). She said they won’t install customer parts because “they don’t make money on it.” That’s a scammy attitude. I was ready to pay $60–$80 just for labor, but they refused service in a disrespectful way. I went next door, and they installed it for $80 with no problem. I run a business and prefer warranty-backed parts. This place clearly cares more about profit than customers. Avoid them.

This is the worst service I’ve ever gotten in my life, supper rude and unprofessional! I went to get a smog check and they failed me for no reason. 2 days prior to it I had some maintenance done on my car, everything was fixed and sorted out then I came to get the smog check, according to them they said that the system didn’t update yet and that I need to wait a few days to come in for a test so I told him why didn’t you ask me if anything was done on my car before you did the test? Idk these things and supposedly you are the expert who knows that. Wasted my time and money if you would have asked me the needed questions prior to checking the car and charging me, which now I would have to wait and pay again.

I normally feel like I’m getting hustled when getting work done on my car but Omag’s is the OPPOSITE! The fixed some paint / scratches on my car for free. I tried to tip him and pay him but he refused my money. They also made sure I got the best price for a mirror replacement and gave me good advice on purchasing a used one over a new one in terms of price point. The best experience I’ve had at a car service place ever.
