I can't say enough good things about Omar repair shop a week ago I was having braking problems and do I need to get it fixed I started Googling every mechanic I can find near me confine one either too busy or I have to bring it back on Monday and this was a Friday scheduled to work the weekend I was stressing out I need it my truck he said bring it in I'll take a look at it just like one of the other reviews he said go by the part bring it back and I'll install it for you I don't have the time to to order the part 4 hours waiting for the part to be delivered he was already closed he said come first thing in the morning I just happened to get there an hour early and cars were already driving into his lot he told me to bring my truck in this was about 7 in the morning he started slipping all the switches I'm starting to work on my truck he fix the problem I was out by 7:30 on my way to work I couldn't have been happier with his service and honest and then try to cheat me just because I needed my truck desperately like we all do need our vehicles it's really hard to find a good mechanic and I would highly recommend Omar's Auto Repair 110% I will surely bless that day to find a true honest mechanic

It’s a busy shop. My car wouldn’t start. I had talked to Omar the day before about towing the car to his shop and he agreed to it. Next morning, I arrived with the car and they denied me service telling me they were “full”. He didn’t even bother to make some space. Not professional.

Don't come here with newer cars. He didn't know how to put brakes on a 2019 camry. He messed up the rotor, rubber boots and a bunch of screws. Muerto de ambre taking jobs without knowing how to do them.

I was quoted over $2,500 to get this job done at my Honda dealer to get my timing belt done, and water pump changed, this price included parts and labor. With Omar, he did my water pump, timing belt, serpentine belt, tensioner, and all that came with the kit. I bought it it on Amazon for about $300 instead of $800 at dealer, and yes it was ORM. So after all was said and done, it was a day and a half of labor, my brakes were do e, spark plugs, and the timing bell kit with water pump, etc. I was charged $300!! That and parts it was about 650-700 total. Take your car to mr. Omar, you won't regret it.

This my dude right here and yeah, he's always busy. Dont be surprised if he turns you away because of this. Get there nice and early, he officially opens at 8 but doors open early as 7:15. This means that he'll allow certain amount of cars on his lot that he knows will be out same day and then turn everyone else away. His prices for service rendered are unbeatable. Pro tip: do your research and buy your own parts, you'll avoid him buying the parts from the cheap car parts place in front of his shop... you'll thank me later. Best shop in town! Dont doubt it.

Omar has been our mechanic for over 15 years. He is the best mechanic and most trusted person around. Used to live in Boyle heights and even though I moved out of the area, I'll rather tow my cars than take them anywhere else. Last to say he provides great prices and doesn't try to rip u off like everyone else. He rebuilt my engine on a showtruck and left it like a beast!

Absolutely the best experience you can imagine during a stressful time, when your car is not working. Came in super early with a check engine light. I was seen right away. I left the car, they checked it, and a couple hours later i got a call with clear information about cost, and problems, and am given the option to move forward. I give the go ahead and the car is ready to pick THE SAME DAY! Amazing. Everyone was friendly and professional, and the cost for the repair was not only fair but competitive. Will happy return to Omar's for all my future car repair needs.

Yes he'll turn you away if you arrive AFTER he opens & IF he's booked up . So arrive BEFORE he does like 7 am & you'll b first in place !! I came here off my bff's recommendation cuz she's been his customer for 20 yrs prob. I first came last year for a tune up: fast & affordable. I just recently came for a busted head gasket but he ended up replacing the engine in a couple of days. I paid $2500. I would NEVER think twice about considering another mechanic, hands down! He's super communicative & professional & all around solid & honest ..

Took my car for an oil leak on the top left side .he cleaned the engine and kept it for a week and didn’t do anything to it . He told me it was a $7 gasket and didn’t wanna charge me cause he wanted me to see if it still leaked . I heard he gives preference to friends and women .
