My experience with this auto shop was extremely good. Guillermo was very knowledgeable and professional when it comes to car insurance claims. He helped my process run smoothly and his customer service is exceptional. Good quality in his work and the vehicle was left exactly as it was before it was damaged. All new parts used as expected and Guillermo went above and beyond. My vehicle was a 2019 Honda Civic and was a little worried if the paint job would not be the greatest, but was proven wrong. Even though the color was not so popular Guillermo match the color exactly the same and can tell he uses high quality paint. Overall I was very satisfied with his work and his constant communication on the status of my vehicle was a plus. Very happy with his service and definitely recommend it for professional vehicle car repairs work.

My son’s 2005 Chevy truck smelled like gas for months, but I didn’t have a clue where to take it or who to trust to diagnose & fix the issue. Maybe that’s just how old trucks smell? Luckily my friend said it was not normal for it to smell like gas & referred me to Pacific Star Auto. It is located in Chula Vista which is super convenient, so I gave it a try. I was greeted with a smile (by the owner) who then listened to me ramble on about the gas smell, the fact that the air conditioning wasn’t cold and that fact that the engine light turns on and off. Despite my lack of knowledge, he listened & quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me a reasonable quote to resolve. Hours later he showed me a picture of the amount of gas that had leak throughout the engine! Driving that truck up to that point was such a risk to my son and I was just mortified that I waited as long as I did to take action. They fixed my son’s truck in 1 day allowing minimal disruption to his day to day obligations. The mechanic was super nice & explained things to me in a way that helped me understand & trust the process. Needless to say, I am a now a raving fan! Don’t take my word for it, just look at all the awards on their walls. Plus they have a quaint, unique & fun decor. In addition, I was able to met some regular customers who were treated like family. Great experience, great employees & great service. I now have a place I can trust with my automotive needs. Highly recommend!

I’ve been taking my cars here since I was 16 years old. I’m 29 now. Always excellent service, communication and quality of work. I live in Ocean Beach now and make the drive down to Chula Vista because I know I can trust these guys to give me a solid deal and great work. It’s always excellent customer service. Today I picked up my girlfriend’s Jeep that had an a/c problem and now the a/c is like new. Couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you again Pacific Star Auto for treating me like family.

I just want to share what an incredible experience I had with Pacific Star Auto and in particular Isaac. This man's customer service skills are impeccable. From the first time we spoke on the phone, I knew my vehicle was going to be in great hands. I hated that my car was in the position that it was in, but I'm very thankful I chose PSA to be the ones to handle my car's issues. Isaac was attentive, understanding, and he made me feel like I should have no worries in the world because he would personally resolve any issue that he could under his ability and will. I had a great experience taking my car in to have work done at Pacific Star. I initially brought my car into the dealership and was quoted a few thousand dollars but had a gut feeling it was not all necessary. I received an honest assessment of my car at Pacific Star and they fixed what was necessary for half the price. It is a relief to know there is an honest mechanic out there. A freaking stressful and expensive nightmare and after spending thousands of dollars I had to go and get my car leaking oil and with the check light on because they wanted more money. I had to take the car to the shop about 10 times and they still could not fix it. First review I give in my life but I had to do it because I hate when they lie to me so many times.

I bought a Buick Enclave from CarMax and an extended warranty. CarMax recommended Pacific Star Auto, and said that they would be able to provide any needed auto services just like any CarMax location. My service rep at Pacific Star Auto was Issac, who was very friendly, respectful, and professional. He recommended an oil change, tire rotation, and replacement of air filters as recommended by the manufacturer at various milestones. Issac said that it would take only about two hours, and sure enough I got a text while I was eating at a nearby restaurant that my car was ready for pick up. I was very happy with the courtesy and professionalism of all of the staff at Pacific Star Auto.
