He is always great at explaining what is wrong and what needs to happen. This place is the absolute best. Donald is a real standup guy, with great advice and the friendliest demeanor. Very reasonable prices too. I needed a check engine light looked at, my brakes cleaned/adjusted, and an oil change. He was able to diagnose all my issues within 15 mins, and have my car back to me the same day. I recommend calling the day before you plan to come in so that they’re expecting you, and you know what time to show up. Cannot recommend a spot more.

I showed up to park place at 6:10 to hopefully get some air in my tires and get one checked. Google said they closed at 7pm so i didn't see an issue. I asked the employee on duty to add some air and check 1 tire, he said come back in 2 weeks im only one man working. I said well it says you close at 7 and you only have one car your putting air in. Can you just add some air? He refused and told me to come back in 2 weeks. Poor and lazy service. Be better or change your times online.

I loveee Mr. Donald! I’ve been using his services for years now and I’ll ONLY go somewhere else if it’s something he can’t do. I used to live up the street from his shop, but now I’m traveling from near metarie for his services. I’ve been seeing people say he’s rude, but he’s just busy and has a lot to do lol. Very sweet guy. He’s looked out for me so many times. Whenever he sees me he says “hey my girl whatcha need”. I recommend him to everyone, he’s fair with his prices and just an overall good guy. He might now know my name, but he for sure knows my car!

I went to Donald for an oil change and to take a look at my suspension, on a recommendation from Reddit. He is clearly about doing things right and goes the extra mile to explain/show you what that is, and his prices were reasonable. I was able to drop my car off with him, walk up to Magazine for a late lunch and a little window shopping, and walk back. Though the oil change was finished when I arrived (I think he had forgotten to call me when it was, as we had briefly discussed), he still had my car up on the lift, and showed me specifically what he noticed. We discussed how to remedy it, before I paid and departed. I fully intend to come back to have my new struts installed, front end alignment done, and new tires mounted and balanced. (Update: I dropped off the car on a Monday evening and was able to pick it up first thing on Wednesday. I actually enjoy driving my car now, for the first time since I bought it.) I saw a few reviewers say he's rude; I don't think that's really the case. I will say he does sound a bit impatient on the phone, but I understand since he's flying solo and keeps quite busy. In person, he was friendly and very easy to work with. The first time I went to him, he wasn't able to do my oil change that day (late Thursday afternoon), but he suggested a few windows for me to drop by and get it done in about 90 minutes. It's my impression that if you're polite and reasonable, he'll take care of you, especially if you can effectively communicate what times work for both of you.

Don't waste your time coming here. I just did a inspection on a truck that recently came from this shop. They told the customer the truck was good after a Multi-Point inspection and probably didn't even pop the hood. Took his $75 and called it a day. There were dozens of things wrong with this car. Didn't even address the check engine light. I hope this place goes out of business soon

Not sure what the problem is with poor reviews?? I have been coming here for YEARS. He does reliable, rapid work. I ALWAYS have a great experience. I know literally a dozen or more neighbors and friends who come here as well. I have never known anyone who has had anything bad to say.

Rows of cars on the sidewalk. Come on guys. Got pedestrians having to walk on Tchoup to get around. You have plenty of space along the road to park. If this isn't addressed, I'll be reporting it.
