Purchased a used car that was shipped from NC. Inspected here. No front license plate frame. They supposedly ordered one and scheduled an appt to install it a week and a half out. Got to the dealership at my appt and waited over two hours. Plate holder wasn't ordered and I sat for over 2hrs and no one thought to tell me until I asked. Service person was never very friendly.

If I could leave 0 stars I would but it wasn't an option the worst unprofessional service ever I bought my truck there and it's out of warranty but the engine light came on so I made an appointment for 7.15 on Monday morning never heard anything tried several times calling and leaving messages and no one will get back to you finally got a manager on Wednesday evening just before closing to tell me they'd just pulled it in and then nothing Thursday or Friday after still leaving several messages finally Friday evening I got hold of a manager and told them to put my truck outside I was coming to get it, and I did they never touched it I was told they'd been working on other vehicles that had been there awhile, I will never set foot on there property again

Brought my vehicle in for a software update. However the bean counters had a misunderstanding insisting that it was a chargeable item. Hats off to Demetrius for championing my cause and it was done as warranty per the service bulletin from GM. Thank you Demetrius for championing and putting the customer first. This is my first GM experience, being a current BMW customer for the last 18 years (26 cars total) the bar is high. Looking forward in this new partnership and hopefully many vehicles to come....

Another easy and stress-free appointment at Parks Chevrolet of Richmond thanks to Chris in the service department.I contacted him to make my appointment and he had me scheduled on a day of my choice in minutes.I had to wait that day and he told me it would be around 2 hours but he had me in and out in less than an hour and a half.Everything from the first call to schedule the appointment until the minute I left was easy and pleasant.He kept me informed the entire time I was there.Thank again!!

Car was towed to Parks on 12/13 for a 12/18 appointment. Received a text that it was ready over a month later, on 1/24. Approximately 7 miles from Parks after picking it up, the check engine light was back on and dash message saying reduced engine power. The vehicle was immediately towed back and is still there. I’ve received several texts with different things they thought was wrong and none of them have been the case. The vehicle should be junked and replaced. I’m almost afraid to drive it now when it gets fixed.

The worst Service experience ever! Was told I was going to have my car in 3 days yet they kept my car hostage for 8+ days. On top of that I had to cancel several doctors appointments because of lack of transportation and no vehicle. If anything happens to me will be on Parks Cheverlot service department. Customer service sucks at this location, the employees have more days off than they do on therefore no work is being done. If your going to buy a car from there great but I would never recommend anyone getting their car serviced not even for an oil change. When you call the only thing that they say is did you get a text that the car was ready. I shouldn't have to wait for a text if I'm being told when my car will be ready. Unprofessional would never go back there. They take no accountability for their lies.

Communication was a bit iffy, had to ask quite a few times for updates on my car as I came in with a check engine light, dropped my car off Thursday morning and finally had an answer Monday afternoon. So communication and length of waiting for answers was frustrating. Once I got a diagnosis on my car the process went smoothly and the repair was completed ahead of schedule. Definitely had a better experience here than the chevy service place I went before.

Jeff and Bill are amazing. Even with all the extra details of what I need and handwritten notes that take up the whole page (lol)....they read everything, and Bill ALWAYS takes care me. Jeff is so great with keeping me informed on recommendations etc. They know how I am about how my vehicle feels etc.... and they always go above and beyond. Beauty is running great at 187k miles, and I'm always happy with my team 🙂. Thanks so much as always 🙂. 1/16/26: Bill & Jeff are the absolutely best. I love that they truly listen to my concerns. They even take the time to read my long notes about the problem 😊 and tackles everything head on. They consistently go above and beyond, and honestly, I don't know what I'd do if they ever left. I love my car but, I would have to sell it if either of them were to ever leave 🤣. I have one mechanic (Bill) and 1 service advisor (Jeff). Noone knows the ins and outs of my car like Bill and Jeff. I truly appreciate you guys a lot, and thank for all that you do. My car feels AMAZING now! She's running like a race car at the Kentucky Derby 😅. You know I still need this old car with 192k miles on it to run as if it's almost brand new....and that's how she's running right now, and I'm very happy. EVERYTHING is to my liking! 😊 I don't feel ANYTHING that I felt the other day. The odd feeling in my tire is gone. The vibration is gone. The issue with the gear shift is gone. I was told by Corey Joseph that I had an appointment at 900am on August 6. I arrived at 850am and pulled into the service lane. I spoke with a Mr. Keane who advised me there was no appointment in the system for me. He asked what I was there for and said he would get it taken care of. There were two issues with my brand new truck, the mats in back seat needed to be cut which was taken care of. I also have a paint issue, which I was told that the paint shop would have to get with Corey to set up. Today is August 12 and I still have not heard anything from the dealership. Customer service at this dealership is terrible. The service gut, Mr. Keane was nice and took care of me that day. Do not buy from this dealership. I have had numerous issues at this dealership and no manager can be spoke to on the phone and when you do get one on the phone they don't call you back or take care of the problem (Julia). The people who answer the phones are rude as well, especially if you ask for a manager.

The work I had done was fine but at double the price I was quoted. But what really ticked me off was that they gave out my personal information to SiriusXM without telling me which is a violation of my privacy. Completely unacceptable. I will not be returning.
